This stay was in a word, magical! Can’t say enough about the beauty of the home and the location which is set on the hilltops above Spello in a walled, cobblestone village of 30 people. We were greeted by Alessio with a fire blazing, local prosecco in the fridge and Italian music playing. What a host! We were treated like old friends. He gave us a great tour, explained the history of Collepino and followed up several times to be sure we had everything. He sent many recommandations to ensure our visit of the area was complete. The beds were very comfortable, beautiful decorated with high end linen. The house is much more spacious than it shows in the photos. We highly recommend this Airbnb. One of the best we have ever stayed in!! Linen.

Chiara was extremely helpful and hospitable all during our stay. The apartment itself is spacious, equipped with all you need, decorated in good taste og super clean. You are a bit outside of Assisi but access to all the historic sites and most view worthy attractions of this holy and beautiful city is quick and with no problems whatsoever as parking is available everywhere at the fringes of the old city with minutes of walk to the center. We did hikes to Eremo delle carceri which is quite strenous but definitely worthwhile as is also going to the top of monte subasio which we did by driving to Armenzano and hiking up from there, to breathtaking views and stunningly, encountering a large herd of wild horses living in the free. We cannot recommend Villa Scarponi enough as it was our center of robust activity and relaxation for 11 straight days and we hope to be back soon. Thank you Chiara and Massimo for an uforgettable stay!

Michela's place is a strategic place to visit Assisi. For 3 days we left the car in the parking lot in front of the door. Assisi is reached with a walk of less than a kilometer down a quiet street. A supermarket is also very close. The accommodation is clean and functional. Very quiet. I recommend Michela's place to everyone for your visit to Assisi.

Erica’s was the perfect home base. Erica provided snacks, coffee, cold drinks and, most impressively, home made olive oil! The accommodation was very spacious and clean, comfortable, and quiet. With all the amenities of home. I could not recommend Erica’s more.
