Very nice accommodation, clean and well-equipped, which benefits from a location in the heart of the village. Located in the backyard, you can enjoy the calm even on a market day. Note that access is through a "garage exit" door. Arriving at night, we had a little trouble finding it but Elodie, very responsive, answered us via messaging. We had a pleasant stay. The village is superb with its vineyards nearby and its square with plane trees. Recommended.

very nice welcome, warm and jovial from Joël and Monique. A simple and well laid out house. The village is secluded and very quiet, and located not far from sights to spend the day there.

LaRouyère is so idyllic it almost felt like a movie set — minus the boom mics and drama. The garden and pool were our private retreat; we dedicated two afternoons to pure laziness: sun, breeze, and zero responsibilities. The home is beautifully renovated (it includes a former wine cave!) and feels like the kind of place you'd happily get stranded. I cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen, we slept like the dead in the blissfully quiet bedroom, and the bathroom surprised us both — showers are usually utilitarian for me, but this one was hard to leave, and my husband was equally smitten with the tub. Stuart shared great tips, including the St. Chinian market, where I found heirloom tomatoes and carrots I’m still thinking about. Both hosts were generous, friendly, and struck that great balance of available-but-not-hovering. We left feeling rejuvenated — and already looking forward to a return.

I thank Remke for her welcome. We enjoyed the place, old but very nice mobile home. Small anomaly concerning the bathroom shower faucet. Very nice terrace, well shaded. If I wanted to be picky, I would say that I would have liked to have been able to enjoy the pool with the great weekend we had. Good luck to you and enjoy!!!!!
