House holiday rentals in Ottauquechee River

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

We had a great stay at William’s. The location was beautiful and the house was comfortable. We had a great mix of day-tripping and relaxing with a view. We also ran into William and he was very helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. we felt at home. very spacious and cozy. this house has everything you need for your stay. Very close to Rutland. The fresh baked apple pie was a bonus. It was so delicious. Everything was perfect for us! Thank you! We will definitely be back again!

Dan & Holly are amazing hosts. They provided everything needed to make our week great. They left dining recommendations and all of the information we needed for the property. It was the perfect space for our family. The on-site amenities were great. The pool space was super clean and the staff was amazing. The property is well maintained and we had everything we needed to feel at home. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Downtown Rutland was a short drive, and there was so much to see just minutes from the property. Dan & Holly are extremely responsive and truly think of everything. We had no questions and checking in and out was a breeze because they are so thorough. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We had such a wonderful stay at this historic home! Ruth was a great host and was easy to communicate with, even when I needed to message her late at night. The rooms were great and it was in a perfect location. We are looking forward to booking here again next year.

Great location and lots of space. We were able to ski in/out (look for "Cliff's Road" sign when skiing back) fairly easily, which was nice. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Kat’s house on Dana road was the perfect place for our vacation to Vermont. Our family appreciated the clear instructions, helpful hints, and well thought out amenities. We really liked the Whisper Hill products in the bathrooms and made sure we went to the store in Quechee to buy some of the lotion before we left. We have stayed at a lot of AirBnB’s, but the house on Dana road was the most well equipped out of all of our stays!

We stayed at Michael’s place for 5 nights for our son’s graduation at Dartmouth. It’s a very comfortable house in a nice quiet location in cul-de-sac so there were no outside noises. The beds were comfortable, we slept well, there was enough room to spread out for everyone. We loved the proximity to Woodstock and Quchee gorge. And getting to Hanover to campus was an easy 20 minute drive. Michael is a great host! Very responsive and helpful. Thank you !

We loved our stay at Stacy’s pretty little cottage. It was really spacious. We liked the creativity and quirkiness of the space and we had everything we needed for a family of four. Woodstock and Quechee are nearby and we enjoyed the fall foliage, delicious local food, apple orchards and the amazing local pies. We would definitely stay there again.

this was a lovely house for a group of 5 competing at GMHA. only 13 minutes away. lulu was very sweet and kind, offering to turn up the heat when we were absolutely drenched at the horse show. highly recommend. we're planning to book here again!

We required a venue for the wedding party, and Maura’s residence was ideal. The property was well-stocked, with sufficient supplies for the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Notably, ample firewood was available for the fire pit. The beds and furniture were impeccably clean and comfortable. It is evident that Maura takes meticulous care of their property and prides themselves on providing a clean and hassle-free environment. .

It was amazing! If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat into the woods, this is the place for you. It was very private, clean, and luxurious. Everything was new and pristine and if we needed anything they were right across the driveway. Only thing I could recommend is maybe some curtains on those big picture windows. I get that you want to emphasize the forest views, but I felt like people could look in at times. Other than that, a great stay!

This rental is very close to the fun Long Trail Brewery and Ramunto's Pizza in Bridgewater. Short 10 min drive to the Killington skyship base. The owner was quick to respond and easy to talk to. The place was clean, but did smell of smokers formerly residing there. Plenty of room to spread out. The condo complex this unit is in is older and the exterior of the buildings could use maintenance, but this particular rental unit is in good shape inside and comparable to the price. We'd stay here again.

We had a great stay! The house was well-appointed and comfortable. We especially loved the covered porch and beautiful view. It was a great home base for exploring the area, including several nearby hiking trails, Woodstock and Quechee (about a half hour away), and Brattleboro (less than an hour away). Ab was a fantastic host. He was proactive with communication and even checked in with us to make sure we had power after some strong thunderstorms that had moved through the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Bill and Laura’s house in Vermont. Everything was as described, and the house was nicely appointed befitting with everything we needed. It was a special treat to be welcomed by some VT maple treats when we arrived. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything for cooking, including essential spices and condiments - it is so helpful not having to run to the store for those things. Bill and Laura were very responsive, helpful and gracious. We would definitely stay again!!

Had a great stay and Kristen and Jesse’s place. We were in the area for the CBHM and they were very accommodating. House was cozy and very peaceful. Not too far from Woodstock, which is a nice town. I would highly recommend staying K&J’s place

Every year we head to the Woodstock area for the Covered Bridges Half Marathon. This year we decided to stay north of the river and Barbara's place did NOT disappoint. Awesome that her place was dog friendly, as we brought our 12-year old mutt with us. The house is beautiful - recently done and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was great to cook in for me and my family, and there was a lot of space for us to hang out on the rainy days. Everything was great - super quiet at night - and well accommodated. I'm hoping we can stay there again next year!

OQ Farm is absolutely beautiful! The home was amazing and perfectly decorated! Loved visiting with the alpacas, horses & sheep. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this little piece of paradise!

Carl & Poppy were fantastic hosts. Very responsive, and kind! The house was perfect for two people, and the hot tub was an added bonus every night when we got back to the house. Everything you need for a nice stay. The traffic was a little bit loud trying to talk on the porch throughout the day, but we made the best of it. All in all, highly recommend!

Jenna' place was great! Nice open and comfy feel to the living room and dining room. The kitchen was well stocked and really clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were cozy. I would definitely recommend Jenna's home.

This house is immaculate! I don't know how they keep it so clean! Simply amazing. It's also spacious, fully equipped with everything you need, and in a lovely private location surrounded by trees. We loved taking walks down the hill to the adorable library, the covered bridge, Simon Pearce & The Whistle Pig. Thank you!

Megan's place was beautiful! In the past we have spent several summers in Woodstock and this year we decided to try something different and we were so glad we did! While we were a 20-30 minute ride from Woodstock, we enjoyed the ride, seeing people on horses and bicycles making their way on the hilly, tree covered roads and seeing the beautiful farmland on either side of us. The yard is so pretty and each morning it looked a little different, depending on the weather so I was out there with my camera capturing as the fog lifted or as the large trees looked in the sun-filled sky. The house is very comfortable with two areas for sitting on couches and though we were only two people, with a dog, we enjoyed that we could each take a room for reading and then come together for a movie in the evening. The kitchen was well-stocked and we enjoyed our meals in the dining room using the wooden dining table. Communication with Megan and her husband was wonderful - they are great hosts! Enjoy.
