Beachfront holiday rentals in Oistins

My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

My husband and I fell in love about 8 years ago with Barbados and this was our 8th visit to Barbados. We booked this villa about 3 days prior to our arrival, and were impressed with the quick communication and very easy self check in. The villa is beautiful, nice and white and bright. The beds were very comfortable and it was spotless. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels! It was lovely sitting on the deck watching the surfers, we felt safe and happy in the Freights Bay Area with a quick walk to Miami Beach, the location of this villa was convenient and within walking distance to the fish market and Masseys grocery store! A lovely villa in deed and another wonderful vacation in Barbados.

Salty toes is unbelievable!, and it's a must visit! From the cleanliness of the house itself to the sandy beach coming right up to the outdoor seating area, simply amazing! It's one of those places that's quiet and off the main street but it has everything on its doorstep! lovely bars, restaurants, food courts, lovely boardwalks etc it has it all.. the house was spotless, fully stocked with everything you could imagine. Big cooker, big fridge freezer/ washing/ dryer facilities. Salty toes has ample space for families. Two big seating areas inside for eating at, and then the outdoor area just has to be seen! Amazing! All 3 bedrooms were huge, crisp clean linen and all beds with memory foam mattresses! We'll definitely be back to Salty Toes, home away from home. I'd be giving this place 20/10! Top Class Chloe, keep up the good work!

Great place overall! The unit itself is roomy, recent and clean. The location couldn’t be better; on The Gap, but not right in the bars section so it was quiet at night but you just had to walk 5 minutes to get to the action. Great host and his co-hosts were great as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and will be looking to come back with our daughters!

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

My group had such a great stay here at our first time in Barbados. The condo was spacious, clean and had nice touches like a coffee maker, laundry, smart tv, and rainfall showers. The beach access was great, and the infinity pool on the roof was lovely. The staff in the building overall were nice and helpful. The listing pictures match the condo, and we would definitely stay here again.

This listing was great. Perfectly located near to restaurants and groceries. An ideal central location in my opinion and we felt safe as the compound is gated. Our luggage was lost but the list had a wash/dryer with detergent so we could keep our clothes clean until our luggage was returned to us. An overall great stay and I would recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at both PH1 and PH2 during an 11 day stay in Barbados recently from May 1st to May 11th. Preetam and Team were absolutely amazing! Penthouse is as pictured and while I have Dual Citizenship and make a trip to Barbados every year, i usually stay on the West Coast of the Island. Staying in the South Coast was the best decision this trip. PH1 & PH2 are directly located above a beautiful newly developed small boutique style plaza. Only things located there are a Starbucks directly down stairs (I personally suggest you take the 7-8 min walk to Italia coffee, which is the best coffee to me on the Island!) In addition a well appointed spirits store and a Beautiful Restaurant which will be finished by the summer. It is located in the BEST LOCATION! Walk ability to so many restaurants, shops, the Beautiful clear water beaches of Barbados located across the street. Let’s get into the Penthouse, Designed Beautifully, Well equipped with literally everything.

Cyrus is an EXCELLENT host! The home looks way better in person and it is clean and well organized. It is centrally located. As such, the convenience store, restaurants, bars, the beach etc are a short walking distance. Private taxis are readily available and all the locals are very friendly with giving directions if you do decide to go for a walk to explore. I will definitely be staying in his home again when I return to Barbados next year. Thank you so much Cyrus!

This was our first time in Barbados and this property made for a great trip. We would definitely stay there again. Great location right in the middle of all the St Lawrence Gap action and restaurants, but still felt secluded and private when on property. We were greeted at the location when we arrived and given a thorough walk through of the property as well as local recommendations. If you are looking for a place to stay on the south coast look no further!

We had a fabulous week at Ocean Reef.. the apartment was very luxurious and a perfect location. The views were Incredible . We loved every minute!

The apartment was amazing! The perfect location, and right on the beach front with beautiful views. It was very quiet and felt like a private beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas. Perfect for a day of relaxation and sunbathing. It was very easy to get around, the apartment was very close to Holetown so we could visit lots of restaurants and go shopping. The hosts were easy to contact and really helpful when we had questions, even ahead of our stay. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Barbados, it felt like our home away from home.

Had a wonderful stay at Sapphire! Ray was on top of all the details and was proactive about sharing. Dover beach is beautiful and this location is directly on the beach. There are lots of restaurants nearby and cabs always located outside if you need to go anywhere (make sure to vet your cab and get a price up front!!!) We rented a car for a couple of days to explore other areas of the island, as this was a much more economical option than getting a cab. Location is very secure with 24 hour security. I was traveling with my (young) adult children. Thank you Ray!!

Brilliant stay at Harold and Wendy’s place, can’t ask for a better location on a quiet road minutes walk from the beach. Lovely hosts and accommodation as described. Highly recommended

We had a amazing time staying at this property. The location couldn’t be more perfect— just steps from the sand, with calm, crystal-clear water and some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. Everything was exactly as described (or better!), and the space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. Shops, restaurants, and everything we needed were within walking distance. Highly recommend stopping by Saint Lawrence Gap which is just a short walk away from the property, as well as The Worthing Square across the street for some amazing local food. The area felt peaceful and safe. The host was responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything for an stress-free stay. Highly recommended— can’t wait to go back!

Kevin was an excellent host, always available and responsive about questions we had as well as many recommendations for things to do/places to see. We were pleasantly surprised that the balcony was bigger than it looked in the pictures. You cannot beat the view of having a private balcony literally on the beach. The beach in front of the apartment did have lots of seaweed the time of year we went so we didn't spend too much time in the water there, but Carlisle Bay is a short 15 min drive away for the perfect lazy beach days we all wish to have on vacation. Carlisle bay also has excellent snorkeling if you bring your own gear and don't mind a leisurely 100yd swim or so to get to the shipwrecks. Having the waves as a natural sound machine made every night pleasant and restful as well as having AC in the bedrooms to keep it nice and cool. We highly recommend renting a car vs using public transport so you can have a lot more freedom to roam the island on your own time.

Ruth's place in Christ Church was one of the best stays we've ever had on Airbnb. Falling asleep and waking up to the waves crashing right outside our balcony was just dream like. The location is 10/10, very close to Oistins and all the sights to see and places to eat in the area. Ruth herself was super friendly, accommodating, got us in early, provided local recommendations, and was such a wonderful person to chat with, we very much looked forward to running into her around the property. We loved Ruth's dogs and felt very safe with their presence, they are friendly with their tails constantly wagging and are very well trained by Ruth. We would 100% stay again in a heartbeat- see you next time we're in Barbados!!

I enjoyed myself at this lovely apartment. Booking was easy through the app and Esther and Dave made my check-in even easier with clear directions to access my keys. The apartment was spotless. It also came with some beverages and local snacks to make it homier. Local to popular attractions and major highways. I’d definitely rent with them again.

This place is such a hidden gem. We quickly booked it after we had our flight home cancelled so didn’t really research it just needed to stay somewhere. Well it was a lovely surprise. Firstly our apartment was immaculate! Whoever cleans it does a fantastic job. The apartment itself is super cute, well decorated and roomy. Kitchen is one of the most well stocked ones I’ve seen. Utility room was an absolute bonus. Outside areas are beautiful- the views of the sea are gorgeous. Pool area is kept super clean and has plenty of sunbeds. Honestly this place was so good I can’t recommend it highly enough. Has CCTV and security on at night. The area has some great restaurants, surfers cafe was a particular favourite with us and our teenagers- great food/drinks which are reasonable and had great live music on a Thursday night. Also Oistins fish Friday is a must and you are within walking distance. Yonette was fabulous and really helpful with any questions we had. Book this place it’s fab!!!

It was exactly what I needed. Beautiful set up and location love the levels. Very spacious. Amazing beach setting Sound of waves all day Very local. Everything in walking distance or a cheap z van. Thank you for everything

Couldn’t have picked a better place, impeccable views and everything was in walking distance. St. Lawrence Gap was a 5 minute cab ride and Oistins fish fry was a 5 minute walk away. There’s a private beach in the front of this property, although we went to brownes beach daily to be with the locals. Brownes beach was a 15 minute cab ride, where locals frequent and plenty of food & drink options. Staff were friendly and responsive and accommodate you for airport transfer as well as well as excursions. Kitchen was well suited, I cooked breakfast each morning with ease. 10/10
