Your own Romantic Retreat in a lush tropical garden ten minutes east of Holetown. With secure off street parking and a private jungle pool complete with its own monkey troop!
“This place is right out of an adventure story! My family and I had an amazing time. We enjoyed the terrace immensely! Having breakfast while watching the birds, reading a book in the hammock or watching a rain storm, watching ferrets and monkeys play in the yard during the day or the fireflies dancing all around at night. Then there is the pool. It is so cool with the island in the middle. It was fun for our kids to make up games. Also, great location as we went scuba diving in the South, kite surfing on the East, visited the North for the sugar cane factory and amazing views and of course the calm West beaches were only a few minutes. Since there is so much to do all over the island, Bryn's central location was a wonderful and calm place to have as home base.”
Enjoy a beautiful house of spectacular sea views, surrounded by nature, with an open plan, loft and decks. Located between the beaches of Bathsheba and Martin's Bay in a non residential/touristy area. This area has more of a local village flavour.
“If you are seeking to experience a stay in Eco style accommodation and enjoy the natural scenic beauty and wildlife that Barbados has on offer, you have found the right place. Talking Trees offers plenty of space, we particularly enjoyed the almost wrap-around verhandas and the hammocks from where we saw a family of Green Monkeys on our first morning. There is loads to see and do on this side of the island. We loved Huntes Gardens where we met the owner, one can easily spend a couple of hours in this small piece of paradise. Further north is St. Nicholas Abbey, well worth a visit and is also close to the wild life centre. Try to get there for the 2pm feeding time, it was manic! Travelling to the furthest north we witnessed the most amazing waves near the Animal Flower Cave which made up for the caves not being open due to the spectacular crashing waves. Within a few miles of TT there are a few good restaurants. We particularly liked the Round House. We made use of Angeliques jeep, which was perfect for getting around, as the roads are not the greatest with numerous potholes. Finally Angelique was a great host, always prompt with responses despite being in Europe at the time of our stay.”
This exquisite three storey villa is nestled on a hill with ocean views from every window above Dover Beach & The Gap - Barbados' premier strip for beaches, restaurants & nightlife. It’s centrally located, ideal for large groups because of how spacious it is & there are three outdoor areas for guests to enjoy. These areas include the rooftop lounge with panoramic views of the coast, the garden area with our famous pet turtles and last but not least a saltwater spa with beautiful ocean views
“This place is amazing! You are welcomed at the door like family by Kiran and Brenda. If you need anything they are onsite. Anything and Everything you need help with is readily available. The soaking tub is amazing. Be sure to get directions before use. The house is huge and great for groups. Enjoy early morning on the roof top. If you plan on cooking - take bags to the grocery( they charge you for plastic)- roadside stands for local veggie and fruit and coconut water. Look for a 4 for 10 bajan on beers its the best price. Small markets outside of tourist areas for your rum. Fish Fry on Friday Night The local resources given are perfect. A piece of advise: Dont use the AC it will help to acclimate you to island tempeture shifts. Fans and open air window is sufficiant. Re-usable travel straw!! Have good shoes for hiking around flip flops wont do. It is easy to walk to the gap and oistens but you are going to want to taxi to excursions in Bridgetown. Most adventures will pick up at Divi Seaward a hotel about 10 minutes away. Water canteen Exchange your money at a bank and eventhough on the surface it doest feel like a barter motivated island it is! Andrea and Danny are the best taxis on island. Expect to pay a fair wage. We hired a private taxi for the day ( 10 hrs all over island, Wildlife Reserve, St.Nicholas Abby, Flower Animal Cave Bathsheba and a local shop for gifts) It ran $400 US +grat) we had the taxi for our leisure and enjoyed the island in a pace that allowed us to really take it in. I booked this house for my 40th Birthday adventure. Stayed 1/12-1/20 with a group of 6.”
