From beginning to the end of our stay, Charlie communicated all the necessary details. We had everything we needed within the airbnb, and it was perfect for a little getaway with family. There were plenty of beds to choose from, and the bathrooms were both very clean. The kitchen was easy to navigate and find things. The wifi could have been faster since we did run into a lot of lagging, but eventually it was okay again. Overall, it's a lovely stay!

This place is a hidden gem! Tucked away in the woods along a lake with a canoe, waterfalls, old ruins, a firepit, hot tub, and privacy...what more could you ask for!? The cabin was clean, free of clutter and well maintained. The grounds were also well maintained, and the landscape lighting on the ruins and the falls was really stunning! Steve is an amazing host. He's friendly, informative and extremely responsive. We will definitely be staying here again!

This home was a perfect venue for our family's mini reunion. We are superhosts from Australia and my Sister and her family came from California and Brooklyn. The home is extremely comfortable and well laid out. The leafy location was relaxing and close to Beacon where we visited DIA a world class Art Museum . We had great fun using the bbq and fire pit( you need to bring your own charcoal and fire wood). Our 7 and 10yr olds appreciated feeding the fish and playing the video games. Any concerns we had were responded to immediately by the owner. Highly recommend this place.

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped! Plenty of towel and toiletries and a lovely kitchen (there was even coffee and spices on hand.)The star is the downstairs bar room - features a huge bar, complete with a wash sink, fridge and ice machine - just around the corner is a movie room with six actual movie seats, a great place for a film or to play some Nintendo!

Good location quiet neighborhood. Home is charming has everything you need. If you’re staying with children house has a lot for the kids, games a playground outback and for the adults a hot tub. We were staying while our home was under renovation so we didn’t have time to enjoy the amenities. Lisa is very responsive , and answers all your messages in a timely manner. Would recommend this place! Thank you for hosting us.

From the minute we booked our stay, Kate and Brad were responsive, gracious hosts. We work a ton in Brooklyn and don’t get out as often as we’d like, so the combination of this beautiful, serene property and Kate’s welcoming touches exceeded our expectations. We were at ease in the home, which was very well-laid out and extremely cozy, and took the time to enjoy the property and indulge in some sauna and hot tub time after hiking. Everything was pristine and easy to use-any questions we had were answered promptly and with so much friendliness that it never felt like we were bothering them. The care that was taken to ensure we enjoyed ourselves was certainly more than anything we’ve experienced at another rental, and we feel so well cared for and so rejuvenated that we’re already talking about booking another stay. My friends and I had an unforgettable stay at this cozy mountain cabin! From the moment I arrived, I was taken in by the breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was exactly as described—clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Mornings were magical with coffee on the porch surrounded by trees and birdsong, and evenings by the fireplace were the perfect way to unwind. I especially appreciated the little touches—extra blankets, board games, and a detailed local guidebook provided by the host. If you’re looking for a quiet escape in nature, this is the perfect place. Whether you’re hiking nearby trails or just relaxing with a good book, this cabin offers the perfect balance of adventure and rest. I’ll definitely be back!

William’s cabin is like something out of a movie. The cabin itself is beautiful, made with exceptional craftsmanship. The floors are all hardwood, but our dogs had no problems with it (they usually won’t walk on wood floors). The location is so peaceful, I’d never guess how close we were to shops - but William left a binder with minimal, easy house instructions and lists of all sorts of local attractions - farms, wineries, restaurants, and so on. Everything appliwas as described and worked perfectly. The grounds are almost park-like, but there’s no doubt you’re in nature. We heard barred owls near the cabin at night, and down by the river by day are kingfishers, herons, pileated woodpeckers, and all the usual smaller birds. Obviously, bring bug spray, as with everywhere that’s more rural. There are hiking trials nearby, & the cabin is easy walking distance to the Appalachian trail - if you take it heading west, you’ll get gorgeous views. Overall, 10/10 can’t wait to come back

Kristina’s place fit our group nicely! We were down there for an event and had 6 people (plus a kid) that fit in her home nicely. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, kitchen was well stocked and clean, couches were comfy to lounge on, and it was easy to find when arriving. We will be staying here again if we need this amount of space in the future! Plus it was dog friendly which is always a huge plus! There’s a nice little loop to walk them in the neighborhood too!

Deb’s sweet cabin was absolutely wonderful! It struck the perfect balance between being close to everything and still feeling like a peaceful retreat tucked away in the woods. Some of the highlights: sipping coffee while looking out the expansive front windows into the forest, the thoughtfully curated and cozy decor, the incredible wood-burning stove that made a chilly, rainy Saturday night feel extra special, and the beautiful deck and fire pit we enjoyed before the rain rolled in. It was such a relaxing and memorable stay — I’ll definitely be back!

The grounds and the two properties offered by Lisa and Billy are so beautiful and peaceful, the house and the gardens were a lovely setting for a holiday family get-together. Lisa is incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and we really appreciated her flexibility in helping us get settled in a space that suited my elderly parents' needs. The bedrooms are bright and comfortable, the great room spacious enough for adults to enjoy meals, two preschool age girls to play, and two dogs to have a place to relax and not be underfoot. The decor and the gardens invite reflection and repose - if you walk the gardens you will hear birds and a brook in the background. We came from out of state to visit family but I would recommend Westhall to anyone looking for a country retreat not far from the City. Brimming with ideas and suggestions for everything from activities to restaurants to nearby stores to pick up provisions, Lisa is a consummate hostess and all of our needs were met this week.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

Wonderful cabin, well appointed with a great view of the Lake! Very peaceful in winter. A well appointed kitchen and a wood burning stove fireplace made staying in a joy! Both hosts were a pleasure to speak with and always responsive. Looks forward to opportunities to return!

Guido and Heather were incredible hosts. They were extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. They made us feel right at home, allowing us to explore their property and enjoy the space. My only thing would be if you are looking for privacy, you might not get it as Guido was often outside near the property (however this didn’t bother us at all!). 10/10 recommend a stay here if you are looking to explore Hudson Valley.

If in your mind, you could imagine an ideal place to get away - a cozy and thoughtfully furnished house nestled in front of a pond, this would be that place. A long driveway takes you away from the main road and leads to a stylish and very comfortable home. Three bedrooms, 2 baths and an open kitchen made the house feel very roomy. Our daughter made an early claim to a small landing at the very top of the stairs, a perfect place to settle into a bean bag chair and matching ottoman and continue her adventures with Nancy Drew. Our stay was extremely guest friendly. There was nothing we felt want of that Jared and Chelsea hadn't provided. A pile of comfy blankets, a nice bottle of red wine and a movie screen and surround sound gifted us two fun movie nights. In fact, their attention to detail made the house feel unusually familiar to us. The daily view of the pond and its inhabitants; a trio of ducks, a pair of cranes, and an industrious beaver, gave the home an idyllic quality.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. We experienced the first snow here, it was absolutely peaceful and serene. The cottage is located on a spacious farm, offering a perfect blend of privacy and convenience, with restaurants, grocery stores, and the train station all nearby. Communication with George was excellent—he checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

This cabin was very cozy and the surrounding area was very scenic and pretty, as well as quiet and peaceful. Kerri allowed my group of friends to shoot our short film outside the house, and it was a great location for filming as well as a great place for some of the crew members to stay overnight and hangout after shoot. We didn't have much free time but we were provided with lots of recommendations of places to checkout nearby and I'd love to maybe rent the place again sometime to explore the scenery. The neighbors were friendly and Kerri gave us very clear and useful information about the house to make our stay easy.

Great place to get away for a weekend! Amy made the process easy and stress free. The house was well maintained and came with everything we needed. Would absolutely book again!
