Cottage holiday rentals in Niort

While traveling for a conference in Niort, we stayed 5 days in Fabien's Airbnb. A small haven of peace where we were able to enjoy the pool and the terrace in the evening. The accommodation is spacious and pleasant, 20 minutes from Niort. Fabien is very welcoming and responsive to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend it

Charming house, very atypical! Corinne was welcoming and attentive. We were lucky to have good weather, and were able to enjoy the terrace (smaller indoor space for meals). The four bedrooms are very spacious.

Very nice week with family at Manoir Souhait. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos and described. Very nice pool and hot tub. Numerous deckchairs and impeccable. Everything is neat, you feel very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The village is very quiet and pretty. Shops are 10 minutes by car. The area is beautiful in the July sun. Geocaching trail (Terra Aventura) with family in Cognac, Aulnay, La Touche de Périgny, St Jean d'Angely - discovering old stones, beautiful Romanesque churches and rivers. Visit to wineries and vineyards (we particularly recommend the Dhiersat house in Rouillac). We recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation, family rest. Highly recommended!

Julie is a remarkable host in terms of her hospitality, kindness and availability. She always has a smile on her face. The house is very clean, impeccable bedding and many accessories in the kitchen The place is quiet, the pool is large enough to guarantee nice swims The hot tub and petanque court add a pluses to this rental I highly recommend this place. It is about 2 hours from the ocean, 1.5 hours from the Poitevin marsh.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

Elisabeth was very welcoming. The cottage is carefully furnished and equipped, everything is practical, accessible and charming. The bath towels are soft and the quilts are splendid. The garden is conducive to cooing, picking and hide and seek. The surroundings offer beautiful opportunities for bike rides, boat trips... in the heart of the Poitevin marsh. A very nice stay, in ideal conditions, from which you leave refreshed and invigorated!

We had a lovely stay. Super well appointed environment ( games for children outside and large indoor games room). We were able to enjoy a canoe ride made available by hosts. The accommodation is very well-equipped.

Beautiful accommodation, authentic, no fuss, everything is planned for a pleasant stay. Lots of attention for children with board games for all ages, costumes, outdoor games. 35 minutes from Puy du Fou, 50 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonne.... We appreciate the basic necessities to be immediately comfortable (laundry, soap, groceries, enough to have lunch...) as well as the beds made. We also appreciate the possibility of going to see the animals, picking a strawberry or collecting an egg... Excellent value for money!!!

The Domaine de Loups has been one of the most special places we have ever stayed. The estate and river valley are a hidden gem in the agricultural landscape. The owners are welcoming and generous and you have freedom to explore the entire estate including using the boat to travel up the river. We loved watching a family of six kestrels in nearby trees. The property was spotlessly clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse, at La Blatiere. If you want to be off the beaten track in a very pretty and relaxing location, this is ideal, whilst there are also plenty of places to visit within an hour or so. The pool was also a big plus, which we used every day. The roads are very quiet with no traffic. We visited local places and also had chilled days 'on site' so the pool, the bikes to borrow and the games room were fun additions to have. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could easily have stayed longer. The place was perfect, fantastic pool, great countryside and fab location for day trips. Mark and Elaine were the perfect hosts, all in all a great place!

Linda is a very welcoming and very friendly host, who welcomes you with a big smile! Very available and discreet at the same time, we really had a great time! The little restaurants in the area are great and very affordable! The most pleasant thing is to be able to take walks along the canal in the shade, it's very quiet and relaxing. Our stay at Kathryn, Mark and Otis's was perfect. A magical, peaceful place where you can recharge and where you can feel at home. Extremely well-equipped, we were as good as at home. The amenities are complete. And the many activities offered were perfect, kayaking, boating, children's pool, fishing, picnic… and the environment is beautiful and very rejuvenating. A very big thank you to you for sharing this beautiful corner of paradise with our family. We'll be happy to go back.

To use the word "charming" is an understatement!! We planned our French vacation around this gem of a place! Jan and Graham warmly welcomed us into their home and into their village. The towns people shared their company with us and showed us how to live like countrymen! We cant wait to someday return!
