I had a lovely stay. The house was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. There was an European outlet in the room which was lovely. The metro (Chillingham Road) is very close-by making it a lovely area to stay in. I loved the park nearby (Heaton park) and all the nice restaurants and cafés. Akanksha and Suhail were wonderful hosts, and gave great recommendations of local restaurants and places to go. Also lovely to get to know Ollie and Maya! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Newcastle!

Booked for a last minute work trip for 6 work colleagues. The house is massive and has 8 ensuite bedrooms really well equipped kitchen, large comfortable lounge and dining area. Loads of free parking outside the house or when thats busy a free carpark 1 minute walk over the road. Great location. Colin was good to deal with and easy check in process, we only got access to the number of bedrooms we needed (6), the rest were locked. He gave use key codes for 6 boxes to get into the 6 bedrooms we needed. As described we had sole use of the house. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay and a pleasant walk into the city ! Mary Kate is a lovely host, and the accommodation met all my needs. I would definitely recommend and hopefully be back.

My work colleague and I needed a place for 4 weeks of work in Newcastle, and Thomas’ place was perfect. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, with a dining table, lots of space upstairs, effectively we had a floor and bathroom each. The centre of town is only a 20 mins walk. Thomas was a superb host. It’s a charming home. Thanks so much.

Great base for exploring Durham and loads of room for us to relax and spread out. Ample parking, excellent kitchen and facilities and the Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

An amazing space that is a walkable distance to the city centre (25ish minutes) or 10 minute bus journey. Paul was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags in our rooms before the check-in time so that we could explore the city. A perfect place to stay if you’re in Newcastle for a couple of nights.

We had a great stay at Colins house - perfect space for a family get away - the kids loved it too. We visited family near-by and Colin gave us a wealth of knowledge about the area of things to do and lovely places to see! We will definitely be back :-) thanks for a wonderful stay x

We stayed 22 nights in this Airbnb and truly felt like we were at home. From the very beginning, communication with Aggie was excellent. Her message was informative and friendly, which gave me confidence in our choice. I mentioned my dust allergy, and she reassured me right away. When we arrived, the house was even cleaner and better maintained than I expected. The house was immaculate, warm, and perfect for our family. The sofa bed in the living room was spacious for me and my 5 year old, and the bedroom had all the amenities for my husband. The bathroom was modern, and the decor made us feel cozy and welcomed. We often forgot we were in an Airbnb, it felt like we were in a friendly home. The family’s dogs were a lovely touch quiet and friendly, adding to the homely feel. Aggie was a true gem, always kind and helpful. We found a new friend, and I can't wait to see her again. Thank you, Aggie, for an unforgettable experience!

The house was magnificent on a quiet street . We only had overnight , would have gladly stayed longer if time allowed

I had a very nice and peaceful stay at Echo’s place. Her home is very charming and quiet. The bedroom and the bathroom are exactly as they are in the pictures, very clean and comfortable, and there is a dressing room which is very practical! Echo and her husband are very nice and friendly, very reactive. I came here for research purposes and it was the best place to study and stay in! I definitely recommend this place for a short stay in Durham for one or two person!

We had a lovely three night stay at the Old Watchmaker's House. A well equipped and spacious property, with an interesting history, situated in the centre of Morpeth, with easy access to shops and restaurants and with the bonus of a parking space next to the property. Our host, Barbara, met us at the property and conducted a tour of the house, explaining where things could be found and how they worked. She made it clear that we just had to contact her if we encountered any problems and she was very flexible when it came to us leaving the property, at the end of our stay. I highly recommend this property as a base for exploring both countryside and coast, with its easy access to the A1 and excellent rail links.

Beautiful home with unique furniture that made it feel very luxurious! Lovely views from every part of the house especially when sat on the balcony, and overall felt so peaceful whilst still being close to everything you could need in regard to shops and restaurants. Would 100% stay again :)

Overall it was not bad, just the sudden power outage of the whole neighborhood, causing GBenga and I to be caught off guard!A very nice trip!

Property was in a great location for Newcastle and the Metro Centre. Great views over the Tyne. The property was very nice and perfect for our group of 5 adults. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Great for a stag do. 14 of us, good price, location 20 mins from centre of town, next to Chinatown. enough beds, 2 bathrooms is all but was okay.

I had a fantastic stay with Mashuda and Andy and felt very comfortable and welcome. The hosts are incredibly open and wonderful people, and the accommodation is very comfortable and has everything you need for a wonderful stay.

I’m glad I chose to stay at Martin’s place! It was my first time staying in UK and I had lots of fun. I stayed here over a month and want to come back again. Martin took us to go to beach, mountain, fruits shop, Thomas-like train ride, ice cream shop, fish and chips etc. Martin is a really friendly, kind and nice person. I even met his mom and daughter and we had lots of fun. Kitchen has all the tools and are clean and convenient. Bathroom and shower are also clean. The room has a big and comfortable bed which made me sleep a lot. I highly suggest everyone should come stay with Martin in their lifetime. Next time I’ll bring my mom!

Caitlin’s place was the perfect place to stop on our way to Scotland. Caitlin was flexible with when we checked in and we felt at home and had everything we needed. Caitlin helpfully gave us local recommendations including a walk finishing at a fish shack on the beach where we had delicious mackerel that tasted like it had just been caught! Whitley Bay is a great place to stay and we hope to come again soon.

This was a very comfortable room and a good base for my two-week stay in Northumberland. Martin is a friendly host with lots of local knowledge and recommendations, and he even took me around to buy groceries. He’s got a separate refrigerator for guests which is very useful. I didn’t have a car but I managed to visit a lot in Northumberland by bus, and there’s also a lovely walk out the door along the River Wansbeck and around the North Sea coast to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.

I’m originally from Hartlepool and have wanted to stay in one of the houses on the sea front since I was a little girl. This was a dream come true waking up to such a beautiful view. The house was perfect and we felt right at home. Everything we could have needed was provided and the WiFi was great. Alicia and Ross couldn’t not have been friendlier and more helpful. Thank you for a perfect stay.

David was a welcoming host who provided clear instructions, warned us in advance about some roadworks, and responded quickly to the one query I had. The house itself was lovely - nicely decorated, clean, lots of space, and well-situated on the coast, particularly for Tynemouth, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay itself.

Lovely house, with a good and enclosed pet friendly back garden, and the property is very well located for both Bishop Auckland town centre and Kynren.
