Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Newcastle upon Tyne

Excellent stay at the house as we homed with my family for a weekend. The location is easy to access and quiet at the riverside just opposite to the Quayside over the Tyne Bridge. Lovely service in the house during my stay.

The house was fabulous, so homely with luxurious touches, bedding, furniture to name just a few. Well equiped with dishwasher etc. Parking directly outside with permits supplied. Wendy responded quickly and checked all was well with us. A wonderful stay.

We stayed here for one night when visiting Durham - it was perfect. From the moment we stepped foot through the front door, it felt like home. The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed. If visiting the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we visited family in the area. All facilities that you could need. Peaceful location. Lovely garden and outdoor seating area. Great for my mother who can be challenging with mobility. Stairs have bannisters and helpful sensor lights if you need to be up in be night. Couldn’t fault it

upon opening the door we was amazed how nice the place was and had to message Tracey to tell her that spotlessly clean enough juice water and coffe and some snacks which wasn't expecting really didnt want to leave and will defo be booking again

I stayed here with my son (age 12) on holiday and it was the perfect location for us. We were on foot and it's an easy walk into the centre of Newcastle. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, and generally pleasant neighbourhood. If we had brought our car, I could see that we could have parked easily. Beds were extremely comfortable and the place was roomy and relaxing. There is a great kitchen and eating area, with modern appliances. There are two bathrooms and the upstairs one has a particularly nice shower! The living room was the perfect place to chill out in the evening. The hosts were highly responsive when I had questions. I would gladly stay they again. Thanks!

The apartment was perfect in size and location for the things we wanted to see in and around South Shields. The coastline is beautiful, walk to Marsden Grotto along the coast took about 1 1/2 hrs with amazing birdlife (bus back) Foot ferry over to North Shields, bus and Metro ticket good, St Mary’s Lighthouse a must , check tide times. Tyne Mouth a special place with Priory and spectacular views .Roman Fort next to the Apartment a hidden gem and free. Sadly some of South Shields needs a Spruce up like so many places on our Coastline. Elaine is a lovely host.

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic weekend stay in Newcastle! Christian was so friendly & accommodating for our stay, the apartment was stunning with everything we could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt luxurious, including the robes & fancy coffee machine. Being walking distance from st James park and city centre shops & restaurants was so handy. It was perfect for our weekend as wedding guests and exploring the city, only a quick taxi from the Airport as we flew in from Bristol as well which was really convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here over a budget hotel as it had all the little extra home comforts, if I’m ever in Newcastle again I will be returning to this lovely apartment. Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

Linda's apartment was just perfect for our stay. Absolutely spotless, everything you could possibly want was available. Great location, 5 minute walk to the Metro then just 3 stops into the city centre or a little bit longer to the coast. Linda was lovely, very welcoming with great communication. Absolutely 5*.
