Shipping container holiday rentals in New Zealand

We stayed there for one month and really enjoyed our time at this beautiful bus. The kitchen outside is very cool and it was really fun to spent so much time at this silent, natural place. The check in and check out was very simple and flexible. We were always able to contact Gerry even when we were away and he also gave us helpful tips :)

We chose this bach for its location, which was perfect right behind the surf club. Cosy and comfortable, (especially the beds!), great outlook over the reserve, clean and tidy, it had everything we needed for our stay. Loved it!

Great place out of the city. Only issue was workers building outside early in the morning. A part from that great place to stay. Can get sqishy in the lounge with a bigger group. Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lorna and Dean were so welcoming and helpful and the cabin is in such a beautiful, peaceful spot with stunning views. The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped and Lorna has put so much care and thought into little details which make it a wonderful place to stay.

We had a truly lovely stay. The host was incredibly responsive — always quick to reply and very helpful. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and having a dehumidifier in the room made a real difference. The location is excellent — easy to get to, yet very private and peaceful. We really appreciated the quiet and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Ideal for a group with a busy agenda in the city and region. Uncomplicated location. Very good sleeping/bathroom set up with all the backup utilities required for flexible day to day planning.

We had a great stay at the Potter's Pad - Kimba was an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed her pottery; along with exploring the beautiful rolling hills, saying hello to the animals and everything about our trip in Pirongia.

Candy was a great hostess and very responsive. The Podtainer was quaint and had everything we needed and more. A great range of tea and coffee supplies with a few extra goodies supplied as well. A lovely quiet private spot for a wee getaway. Will be back.

This is my 2nd time staying on this lovely property with it's breathtaking views and wonderful host, Don who is a wonderful host and excellent resource for local info. The cabin is very well appointed with a million dollar view. Love the bath tub on the deck! I look forward to stay #3 in the not-to-distant future. Highly recommended.

Awesome, and quiet, location in Methven with an easy walk to the hot pools and main town centre. Modern house with an electric door lock which was super handy. Great house for entertaining with an awesome outdoor patio areas to enjoy in summer months. Loved the added bonus of the home being pet friendly and being able to bring our dog with us. Super responsive and helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again for another weekend in Methven.

Another great weekend in this ideal space with our puppy-dog welcomed and secure in the yard. We will return for sure :)

The accommodation was warm and cozy. It was an excellent location to explore the rest of the Wairarapa. It was lovely to meet River the dog and gaze at the night sky. The bed was very comfortable and difficult to leave.

Sharlene is an amazing host. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the helpful instructions and recommendations in the brochure on the coffee table to the well-stocked kitchen, which had all the essentials for preparing any meal, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. It was such a joy spending time in her lovely home and, of course, soaking in the beauty of Queenstown. The view is truly breathtaking - every morning felt like a brand-new masterpiece. A great getaway with wonderful surroundings, trees, birdsong, a waterway nearby, plus only 5 mins drive to Matakana village. The shipping container accommodation was very cool - warm and very comfortable. Even with the crazy Easter weekend weather we had a great weekend away.

Our first experience at a tiny home and we couldn’t chose a better place! It was warm and cosy, and was the perfect stop for us as we made a trip up to Milford Sound. Thank you Leeanne for the very clear instructions and the quick response as well, we enjoyed the stay very much! :)

We had a fantastic stay in Oxford at Helen’s stunning Airbnb. Cosy warm private, beautifully done with lots of homely touches. The fireplace was a huge bonus. Great little town with everything you need to get away. Had a few challenges getting the address due to the late check in but once that was sorted everything else was very smooth. Would definitely recommend this place and we would love to stay again

Seamless experience staying at Tom’s hideaway at Whale Bay. Communication was excellent and even catered for a slightly earlier check in which was super handy. The accommodation was easy to access but also nice and secluded. The outdoor spa was a real treat as the sun went down too. The wifi and tv worked great and the cooking facilities were all that we needed to cook dinner and breaky when we decided to. Would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded get away for two! Added bonus that we were able to bring our dog away with us too. Thanks Tom!
