Beautiful barn style, accommodates three families easily all with their own bathroom! The line is very luxurious and beds comfy Communication was quick and efficient at very late notice. The place did have a few cobwebs and dust from the road but I think that comes hand and hand with being out in the countryside. Stunning garden outlook to sit and have your morning coffee. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other families or larger groups with all amenities supplied and a short drive to Te Arai beach. Thank you!

We had a lovely stat at Barn loft . The place was beautifully presented and very cosy, making it the perfect retreat. Being able to bring our dog along was an added bonus that made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

A little slice of paradise. Everything you need for a getaway right next to the beach. Even during winter, plenty of warmth to stay cozy and a peaceful serene environment to relax and refresh. I will definitely be back again and soon!

Rory and his family was amazing. If we ever came back to New Zealand we will be staying here again!! I could not recommend this place more, the host was lovely and super helpful in more ways than one!!

Loved staying at Meg’s place! It was a peaceful getaway. Loved seeing the horses and foals. Also enjoyed the very friendly dog and cat. The cat gets chatty when they see you and greets you when walking out to your car or coming back to the property. Facilities were great! Highly recommend and would stay again.

If you want a truly peaceful, rejuvenating escape in a beautiful serene location - highly recommend Susans place. Its rustuc, kitchy, full of personality and a great respite from city life. Susan is accomodating, friendly and lets you enjoy the pond and scenery in peace. Added bonus was no cell service at the Barn so we could switch off from the world - however Wifi at Susans house was accessible whenever we wanted (which wasnt that often) and we loved being off the grid for our 3 days. Thank you Susan and Sasha it was such a delight! x

Amazing place

What a great stay. We got contacted by Dan on the day of our booking with helpful hints and a photo of where to park which was really helpful. The barn is beautiful and private with a view out over the vines. Great communications, something chilled to drink when we arrived, plus some snacks made us feel very spoiled. A magical place to stay, we will be back.

Lovely clean, modern and well styled house on a large section with sea views. Large house, easily accommodated us 8 adults with room to spare and multiple different hang out / chill spots in and outside the house. Very well stocked kitchen with ample crockery / containers / utensils etc.

We had a fantastic and relaxing stay at Dee's place, all the amenities were provided and the place itself is bigger and more spacious than what appears in the photos. Although I didn't meet Dee, she was very responsive and accommodating, setting up an extra bed for the last minute addition to our group. We appreciated the quiet and bucolic setting and we would absolutely stay here again!

Easily one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! So many thoughtful touches and extremely well equipped for our stay with our dog and baby which made our little trip away so lovely. Such a cute charming little stay and excellent value for money, we were also very happy we could book for just one night. The surrounding areas on the property are so peaceful and serene I just wish we had more time to enjoy it!

Dariens place is absolutely beautiful and him and his wife are by far the most genuine, kind and welcoming hosts I've ever had the privilege of meeting. 10/10 all round - we will definitely be back in the future!

We (myself, hubby, 11 year old) wanted a beautiful, peaceful spot that we could relax in and Deb's place really delivered. We loved the countryside setting that was so quiet, the cosy comfy beds, the fully equipped kitchen and the games room - we spent many happy hours playing pool! The location was fantastic, rural yet so close to Matakana. Deb and Anto were great hosts, very responsive. Highly recommend.

We had a superb one night stay with Sally and Murray on our way to the Banks Peninsula. They were flexible, helpful and very welcoming. We enjoyed chatting to them, the breakfast was delicious and the garden was a tranquil haven. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful and well-maintained estate. The surrounding areas are super clean and perfect for a getaway. The inside was spotless, had numerous amenities and activities for my family of all ages. Definitely recommend for family trips, and will 100% consider coming back.

Such a wonderful stay. Only negative is that we couldn’t stay longer! If you’re looking for a home stay away from home, this is your place! We felt like we had checked into an old friend’s place. It’s a lovely home on a gorgeous setting. It ended up raining but Jen was so clever and gave us some alternative ideas which were amazingly fun (and we would never have found them if it hadn’t been for her suggestion). This is a hidden gem for sure!!

The home is spacious but you do not feel disconnected. Beautiful surroundings and well equipt kitchen. The indoor outdoor flow gave as an additional seating area for dinners etc. Fabulous facilities could not think of anything else that would be needed there. Would highly recommend The Red Barn.

The cottage was well heated, clean and in a really quiet location. Loved the spa. Very happy with the accommodation and being able to have my dog there was a real bonus. Would happily stay again.

Thanks for allowing me family in at short notice. They were very thankful for the heatpump and loved the country outlook.

We had a lovely stay at Anne's. The house was spotless and spacious, lots of places to sit and chat, both inside and outside. An easy walk into town for cafes. Great communication from Anne and easy check in. We would definitely stay again.
