Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in New River Valley

It’s a days inn so it was exactly what I expected. Perfect place to stay if traveling or visiting the area. They were easy to communicate with. Also very flexible on checking. Would stay again.

Stay was just what I needed - a bed and a shower while in town overnight. It's a hotel, so all the usually hotel things were in play, including very very flexible check in, and someone on-site to respond to any issues (I didn't have any). Given what else was available in the area, this worked out great for the value.

Easy to locate, right off highway, next to McDonalds for a quick breakfast in the morning. Would stay again for my road trips.

Kristi and Ed were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their place is quiet and cozy. The communication was outstanding and the host ensured an easy check in and check out process!

Just had a Fantastic, Restful, Peaceful stay at Country Blessing. The Photo’s not only are a 100% complete accurate portrayal of the space; it is even better in person. We found every room to be more spacious than the photos can show. The amount of square footage to move around is astounding. The Suite is super clean. It literally is brand new. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were actually so many amenities we didn’t get a chance to enjoy them all in our short stay. It was so quiet at night and exactly what we needed for our stay. We had a daughter and son in law graduating from VT and had numerous events to attend. We also had another daughter and family friend to visit in Christiansburg and getting back and forth to both places was a breeze. Tara was a fantastic Host. We would definitely stay there again.

Possibly the most convenient road trip Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Right off the highway (but far enough not to have road noise inside) gas station on the corner for a morning fill up, dinner and breakfast places 5 min drive away were both amazing. The place itself was comfortable, had a Keurig and a nice big yard for the dogs to use. Also the hosts were friendly and super responsive

The place was great as usual. I always feel like home here and we love the fact that we can walk to different restaurants, stores and breweries. The views are also great.

Great location, right across from trailhead! Perfect place to rest your head after riding the trails all day!

This unit was quite comfortable and nicely appointed, with original artwork displayed in all rooms except the kitchen (this was a nice touch). Situated on the main level, it did not require using an elevator or climbing stairs to enter, yet because of the sloping lot, the windows were still well above grade and so was quite secure and relatively private. The queen bed was quite comfortable - not too soft or firm - with ample pillows and extra blankets. The shower was quite nice - ample pressure, hot water, and overhead clearance. The HVAC system is powerful and responsive, and ceiling fans improve ventilation even further. The kitchen stove heats up very quickly for an electric range. The dishwasher is on the loud side, so it's best to run it when you're not going to be around. Kitchen equipment and staple seasonings were adequate for simple meal preparations.

Great one bed one bath. Perfect for our anniversary. Walkable to several restaurants and breweries. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Jim was a fantastic host, and we would definitely stay here again

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jim's place in Roanoke. We needed a place to stay for the double marathon and Jim's place was perfect. Very short walk to the start of the race, his place was really clean and had great decor, and he was very responsive to our messages. We highly recommend staying here whether you are doing a Roanoke race or just visiting. There are a lot of restaurants very walkable.

Enjoyed our stay in a cozy home away from home. Appreciated the clear and concise directions for traveling, check-in, and check-out! Exact match to the photos and description! Jim was an excellent host and we will definitely be returning!

We stayed at Travis's home for the Metallica concert and enjoyed walking the property, petting the cats, and taking the nearby bus into town to visit the many things to do in Blacksburg. Travis invited us to hang out before the concert and was very kind to our group. We appreciate him allowing us to use his space, and would gladly visit again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at Kristie’s. Comfortable and beautiful property. The pool and game rooms were so much fun!

Great place with a stunning view. Very peaceful and lots to do. I rented cabin for end of year 2024-25 with my family and had a great time! We walked to the nearby creek & used the firepit, swings & did a lil exploring in the area. Wei was a great host, very attentive & communicative. I highly recommend this place.

We loved staying at this house. The view and lake access were very nice. The house was also very clean and organized.

Better than the pictures - this place is just amazing. Only caution is to bring a sleep mask because there aren't curtains (very private area). Don't forget a swimsuit because the hot tub is unreal.

This place was an absolute gem for our group of 8! The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the fresh linen smell — everything was super clean and the sheets and towels were clearly great quality. The house had everything we needed, including all the essentials for a fun cookout with friends. We also really appreciated the large TV and the huge selection of games — perfect for winding down in the evenings. Honestly, whoever is in charge of cleaning and stocking this place must have OCD (in the best way) because every detail was thought of, and the decor was spot on. We were all seriously impressed. Definitely bookmarking this one for future trips!

This house was very nice and peaceful. Very quiet area and worked great for my son's graduation. Dan was very responsive and a great host.

We stayed here to celebrate my sister and brother's graduation! It was the perfect place to get together with family. The space was extremely clean! The kitchen had everything you needed from dishes to utensils to equipment. Sarah was so helpful and responsive - she was an excellent host. We wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely worth it and will come back.
