The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Windsong, nestled in the tree tops in the Blue Ridge Mountains, more of a treehouse than yurt! This yurt has internet, an upper deck w/ a hot tub and a lower deck with a gas firepit. There is an outside firepit with fire wood, and the yurt is comfortable year round with a minisplit, propane fireplace and a generator. Enjoy the soaking tub in the bathroom and the walk in tiled shower. A hammock hangs beneath the yurt, and there are two other yurts at different elevations for privacy.

The Radford Dwelling is one block from the local walking/biking trails that take you through many parts of Radford including Wildwood Park, Bisset Park and down to Radford University. The Radford Dwelling is located on a dead end street with ample parking. Enjoy outdoor seating, an upstairs living room or a downstairs family room while you are visiting.
