The natural setting surrounding the house is lovely and private. The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well stocked with linens, towels, and kitchen tools and supplies. The beds are very comfortable and it's quiet for sleeping. We spent most of our time in the all-glass kitchen, which despite so-so weather felt like we were outside when inside - really special room. Chris was very easy to reach and communicative for anything we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful extended family weekend and would stay again!

Sarah and I had a beautiful, relaxing stay. The lake was crystal clear and we enjoyed watching the ducks hunt for fish in the morning. The sun floods the space and you have uninterrupted views of the lake. John and Amy have a well stocked home for visitors with spices for cooking, a portable speaker, games, and plenty of cozy sitting options. We are excited to visit again for more kayaking in the warmer months! Thank you both!!

We had a great time at the cabin. It’s on a beautiful property and has a lot of space for everyone to come together but also do their own thing if they feel like it. We’d definitely come back!

My two girlfriends and I stayed at Marianne’s house for a weekend escape, and it was absolutely perfect! The house was clean, cozy, and easy to find. I especially loved the peaceful morning walks to the nearby coffee shop. Marianne was incredibly responsive and offered great recommendations for things to do in the area. Spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Travis' place with my husband and two young daughters. The house is beautifully appointed and so cozy. We played games by the fire, watched a movie in the cozy tv room, and made and enjoyed lovely meals in the kitchen. The house is even more magical than it looks in the photos, and we certainly hope to be back.

The house’s location was amazing and exactly as described. It was great having the beach in the backyard and being able to swim whenever I felt like it. There were plenty of areas to sleep, eat and sit either as a group or individually. The house was well stocked with anything you could need. I had an issue and Joseph responded and took care of it super quickly. There’s a lot to do in the area, but I didn’t get to a lot of it because I was enjoying the property so much.

Beautiful and peaceful space with generous and friendly hosts who are nearby to help out. The house is fun, with multiple sources of joy. Definitely the first place where I’ve been supplied with the makings for s’mores. The stairs up to the bedrooms may be tough for a less ambulatory person, so keep that in mind. Also note the earlier than usual checkout time. Neither were an issue for me and I’m likely to stay again if I am in the neighborhood.

We had the absolute best stay here! The property and farm were beautiful and picturesque, and the house was perfect for our big group to spend time together while also having room to ourselves. The kitchen was well supplied but there were also great suggestions of places to eat/drink nearby, and Megin anticipated everything a guest could need while at the property. We loved visiting the goats and chickens in the morning, and walking down to the pond for some tranquility and to listen to all the birds. We would love to come back someday!

Linda and Tim were excellent hosts. Linda was on site during our weekend stay and went above and beyond to accommodate my grand daughter's 16th birthday weekend. There were 5 of us including myself, my daughter and her 3 girls. The house was beautifully set up, clean and very welcoming. We were able to schedule horseback riding during our stay which we all enjoyed thoroughly although it was more than entertaining as we are all beginners. 🫣 😊 A great big thank you to the girls working the stable and helping us with our ride! You were all awesome!!! Thank you Linda for the extra effort in making our stay a forever wonderful memory! ❤️

The cabin exceeded all our expectations! It had everything we needed to feel at home, and the farm and trail behind the house is well worth exploring.

We loved the home, we stayed with another couple, great walkability to a nice coffee place and several good restaurants. Perfect spot to explore the North fork and even the South fork. The big yard was a big plus, especially since it was completely fenced it which our dogs very much enjoyed (as did we). We would definitely come back!

Mark is a kind and thoughtful host with an idyllic peaceful home. We were there with our son for his graduation from UConn. All the well thought out amenities were great including toys for our dog and farm fresh eggs! There is plenty of space to walk and run our large dog. The time went by too quickly. It is a lovely get away and a wonderful location to explore eastern Connecticut.

Our stay was absolutely amazing ! We felt right at home and it was worth the price for how beautiful the grounds were. Mara was quick with replies when we had questions and even allowed to check in earlier. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

An amazing home and property. Being able to walk around the farm was great. Very close to the casino. The home had everything needed for a great weekend getaway. Kim was very communicative and friendly.

Diane’s place is a real charm. It has lots of details and several amenities that are not that common at most Airbnbs we have visited (we have been to many awesome Airbnbs). The actual place is better than the description. Plenty of room and utensils. We love hiking and the nature trails close to the place are absolutely beautiful. We used maps that were at the house. Also, when you visit you want to taste the fantastic ice creams and the beautiful grocery store across the street. Diane and Vanessa are super responsive and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend!

Great home base for our recent wedding at Evergreen Farms. Lots of space to get ready! Easy check in, very clean home with a great kitchen and massive living room! Host was responsive and easy to communicate with.
