Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Narragansett

The Salty Life was everything I could possibly have imagined and more. It was the perfect size to spend time with friends and family. It’s in walkable distance to so many shops/restaurants/attractions and although I’ve lived in Rhode Island my entire life, this place felt like an extension of what I would call home.

Kristen was absolutely an amazing host. Made you feel right at home and super communicative and inclusive. She provided a welcome basket that had great things that you will probably need on your travel. The location is Excellent centrally located between the University, Narragansett, and Newport. I highly recommend staying at Kristen‘s place if you’re looking for a peaceful & private Rhode Island adventure/retreat. We look forward to coming back and staying here!

We loved out stay in this house! It was beautiful and prefect for our large group. Areas for improvement include: instructions on the automatic locking feature (we did something wrong one night and got locked out), at least 1 bed was very firm and the pillows were very flat, finally at least 1 bathroom had water pooling in the shower and sink while in use.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend!

Had my future in-laws stay here for the proposal weekend and it was perfect! Annie was great to work with and the house was even better than the photos! Highly reccomend!

I felt instantly relaxed as soon as we walked into 11 Emma G! It was the perfect spot for our family of 3 to relax and enjoy my son’s college graduation. The cottage was exactly as it was described and had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and attractions. Maureen was a fabulous host, proactive with communication, and quick to respond. We hope to return to this cottage again in the future.

We were extremely pleased with Sophia's place. Is was exactly as described. It was the perfect hangout for my wife and our two dogs. A couple of steps off the deck and we are on the beach. The views from the living room were outstanding. Given it's location, close to East Matunuck beach you practically have a private beach for the small condo complex we were in. It is very conveniently located, close to Matunuck Oyster House and close to Wakefield and Naragansett for shoping and additional restaurants. The cottage was well equiped and met all out needs, given we ate most meals in. We would definetly stay here again.

Was in town for a soccer tournament for my son and so happy to have found Christopher and Cynthia's home! The house was super close to URI, the quaint downtown and attractions. The home was a super clean, well-equipped, and in a quiet and beautiful setting. The place super cozy and had all the comforts of home. It was a wonderful refugee from the wet weather on the soccer fields! Thank you so much for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us! Oh, and Benson (the dog) was a total bonus! 😊

I loved this little stay, it was very peaceful and lovely. Matthew was an excellent host and the snacks and breakfast options were a lovely addition to the amenities. Matthew is a really thoughtful and lovely host, I'd love to stay here again on my next visit to Providence/Pawtucket :)

Elaine has a lovely apartment. Very pristine and quiet with amazing views. Our stay was extremely comfortable. Her instructions were perfect and we had no problem with whatsoever anything. If you’re ever there do not miss the morning sunrise. Outstanding. Thank you Elaine & Rich for a lovely stay. We hope to come back some day.

This apartment was perfect and adorable. Every detail was perfectly cared for. The house was just beautifully decorated! The hostess even baked us a delicious Irish soda bread. It exceeded our expectations!!!

Great place to stay while I attended my Art Retreat. Marianne welcomed me on my first day and even left some food in the kitchen for us.

Lynda was very friendly and accommodating. We booked the same day late morning and though she has a 24 hour in advance booking rule she was so very kind to prepare the place and welcomed us the same afternoon. It’s a quiet and peaceful place, clean and in easy reach for nice beaches and restaurants.

Clean, cute, and convenient. You are only about 10-15 minutes away from days worth of things to do around southern RI, but can go back there and rest in the quiet and comfort as of you live there away from all the noise for a very reasonable price for where you are and what you get. Her beautifully maintained flower garden was definitely an extra perk to make the place even cozier than it is and gave a wonderful smell when hanging out on the covered porch in the evenings. The apartment was even bigger than I thought it was going to be and was perfect for me and my fiancé to be able to spread out and relax. The apartment was incredibly cleaned and well maintained from front room to kitchen to bathroom to bedroom better than any hotel I’ve stayed at while still keeping that lived-in charm that makes it feel like home. Linens were crisp and clean and we loved the cleanliness and softness of the bed, was definitely great for weary legs lol 110/10 for this place! Will stay again!

Colin's place was great... clean, quiet, and in a great neighborhood with a coffee shop just around the corner. Will definitely stay again when I'm in Providence.

Super close to all the fun in Newport! Parking was great and convenient! Overall a great time!!

Our stay at Trip and Christina’s place was excellent. It is perfectly decorated and we loved the peacefulness of deck for early morning coffee as well as enjoying our meals alfresco. Perfect location close to bus station for tours of Newport and transportation to the mansions. We unexpectedly arrived super and Christina was a gracious host and invited us in while she completed preparing the place for our stay. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

Liliane's place is a great find. It is in a very convenient location in Newport where you can walk to the water and multiple shops and restaurants. The space is filled with light and it was very clean. It's a very comfortable place to come back to after exploring Newport. Liliane was a fantastic host, very responsive and provided very clear instructions. We would stay here again.

I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!

This is a ground level apartment in an historic home just off Benefit Street, a prime location on Providence’s College Hill. Because of the sloped terrain, it might seem like a basement apartment from one side, but it has a garden entrance at the front door. If you can handle the steep streets in this hilly area, it’s a perfect location if you want to be within walking distance of Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Downtown Providence. I did not rent a car while staying here and never felt I needed one. Tall travelers should be aware that this dwelling has low ceilings by modern standards. That didn’t bother me in the slightest; in fact, it made the apartment feel more cozy. Nevertheless, visitors over six feet tall should be aware of this aspect and make an informed decision. The apartment has a warm, comforting esthetic with all sorts of art on the walls and books on the shelf, and both made a great background for video conferences using the robust wifi signal.

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.

Murray was the best all around. We traveled to town for a rugby tournament with our newborn and our two dogs and I don’t think we could have found a better Air Bnb space or host. Close to really everything you’d need no more than a 5/10 minute drive. Murray was so quick to respond to messages right from the beginning even before I booked the space I had a few questions to ask and he responded right away! The space was peaceful, clean and HUGE. I was not expecting it to be so spacious but wow. It had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. I was worried about the travel but he made it very easy being so accommodating. He was very flexible about check out for us too which made a world of a difference. We travel to Newport every year for rugby and we plan to book with Murray in the future. We almost booked for an extra night just to relax some more !!! Murray thank you so much we look forward to seeing you again.
