Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nantucket Island

My nephew and his family had such a great week on Nantucket. Douglas' home is very cool and authentic Nantucket with the wood paneling and everything simple and basic in all the best ways. It's a super private and peaceful spot. They felt very comfortable right from the start and loved everything about the house. Douglas was super friendly and available for questions and suggestions. They appreciate Douglas sharing his home and are already looking forward to returning.

Our stay at 260 Madaket Road was perfect. The house was walking distance to the shuttle to town. Short distance from the beach and the beautiful Nantucket sunsets. Michael was very responsive with our questions and was a great host. Would look to stay again next summer.

If you’re visiting Nantucket staying at Connor’s is a must do. Very charming and super close to the beach. Quite neighborhood which is a great escape from how busy downtown can be. Nothing beats listening to the waves as you fall asleep instead of a sound machine.

Absolutely incredible and relaxing stay. Waking up to hearing and seeing the water from our bedroom was a highlight of the trip. The house is very charming with everything you'd hope from a beach side property. Renting a car to get into town was a must, but this is well worth it for having a private beach house with a scenic walkable road. I'd absolutely recommend anyone who's looking for a relaxing stay to consider this property.

After knowing Nantucket for decades but feeing sadness at the development and change through the years, I always longed to visit Tuckernuck when eyeing it from Smith Point. As soon as I connected with John and heard about the Decoy, I knew it would be a trip like nothing else. Tuckernuck was truly stepping into the past. The property itself afforded acres of privacy, incredible sunrises, stargazing, and sky/sea-scapes, and excellent comraderie with yard games and visiting. The house is a museum where the love and history of generations is preserved, and was stocked with everything we could have needed. The island - well, I don't have the words to describe that. But something of another world for the adventurous and those who crave lack of modernization and a simpler time. My dog, group, and I had the trip and experience of a lifetime, and nothing can compare. Harry and Mark were above and beyond communicators and help despite challenging circumstances. We couldn't be more grateful.

This was our first family trip to Nantucket and it exceeded our expectations. The home is just steps away from the ocean. It's peaceful and you do feel like you can really relax. Liam was an incredible host. He was understanding and flexible when bad weather delayed our arrival. Overall the experience left us wanting to come back again in the future.

We had a short but pleasant stay at Gail’s and the in-law apartment was perfect! Check in was easy and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with great snacks! This is a great location for exploring Falmouth and the rest of the Cape and Gail is super friendly and responsive. We hope to stay longer next time!

My son & I stayed at Nadia's place, & we had a fantastic time there!! It's a beautiful 2 bedroom house with one of the best panoramic views on the Cape, in my opinion! The house is extremely clean, & it offered everything we needed! 5 (out of 5) stars all the way!! Nadia was a wonderful host in every way, & we want to thank her SO much!! location was great! very close to a shuttle to downtown and a short walk to the shuttle to the beach. outdoor shower was a hit with the group! can't beat an outdoor shower

This place is perfect for 1 or 2 people. Close to town by car but quiet. Big yard, super clean, very quiet.

The place looks even better in real life than in the photos-very modern, well decorated, clean, GREAT LOCATION. Right in front of bike rental shop which is super convenient and the bike rental owner was also super helpful when we couldn't find the entrance. (airbnb was behind bike rental place) Only a 10 min bike ride to downtown or a 4min uber. Loved the balcony outdoor space and the views. Would stay here again if I had the opportunity. Couldn't get the dishwasher to work but wasn't a big issue because the place had so many plates and utensils we didn't need to reuse anything.

We had a a great time and really loved the location and communication with the host! The pond is practically the back yard and easy access to bring our kayaks in. Close to the bike trail and all of the awesome Dennis beaches. One of our best cape vacation homes we stayed at!

Andrea and Tracy’s place was amazing for us and our fur babies for a trip to the cape. The back yard was gorgeous, the apartment was comfortable and clean, and the location was a pretty convenient to most places for us. I would absolutely recommend and will happily stay again next time!

It was a beautiful and peaceful place to land after our wedding! We are grateful for the time and would love to come back some day. Sharon, Deb and Rhianna are the most wonderful hosts, very helpful and kind. We will always have lovely memories from here!!

My family booked this house to celebrate my uncle’s 80th birthday. Unfortunately, my uncle passed away prior to the event so we turned it into a celebration of life. We appreciated the location very much. It was a very quick walk to a beautiful beach near the JFK memorial. Restaurants were within walking distance. The weather was good even though it was the beginning of May so we were able to make use of a wonderful outside space. Lloyd was very responsive throughout our short stay. If you are looking for a place for the family to relax and reconnect, this is the place for you.

This was our first visit to Nantucket, and Robert‘s property was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was my husband and I and our three adult children, and we had plenty of room and everything that we needed, and more! We rented bikes and biked everywhere. It was also an easy walk into town as well. Thank you Robert for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back!

We spent a relaxing week at Gabrielle’s beautiful home - mainly on the deck playing cards surrounded by beautiful vegetation. Great location with many walking paths through the woods - all of which seem to lead to the marketplace area and/or beach. The house is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house is extremely big, comfortable and cute. bedrooms are big, but the 1st floor bedroom definitely needs a new mattress. love the open concept of the kitchen, one thing I wish they had was a blender. Tom provided us with gallons of water which I am really thankful for it. The home was clean, beautiful backyard, quite neighborhood. Overall my family were comfortable, enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay again.
