We spent a couple of nights here to explore the local area, good base and friendly host

The directions and check in were seamless. The house was huge and we enjoyed the conservatory for the sun. The memory foam mattress was very comfy and we loved the sofa and huge tv with netflix and Amazon Prime. Simon was very responsive and made local recommendations for us. Thankyou Simon.

What an absolute gem of a place! The room is beautifully decorated and kitted out with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. It's perfectly situated for exploring the island during the day, but rural enough that sitting in the garden (which is so lovingly cared for, and very generously opened up for guest use) amid the birdsong and bleating of sheep feels like a proper pastoral retreat. Lorna is a fantastic host, who has clearly put so much thought into the property and is always responsive and ready to aid guests with whatever they could need. With this price, location, and thoughtful care put into it, you'd be silly to stay elsewhere!

I saw all the rave reviews before coming and they're all so correct. We spent 4 nights here and it was such a peaceful little haven to come back to after a day of hiking. The cabin has everything you could want, it's so pretty to look at and the host is such a lovely person. You also get to meet her ducks 🐤
