A great place to stay with family. Very near to all tourist attractions, restaurants... etc. Very well maintained property with clean living room, bathroom and balcony. Nitheesh is a great host - always approachable, very helpful, highly informed on the tourist places not just in thekkady, but even outside that and did suggest a few places to visit (with details) which are even 25 kms away. A high recommend for families..

From the moment we spoke with Lakshmy on the phone, we felt at home. The warmth and kindness of the family is palpable. I arrived with the idea that we may make a friend over the 4 days me and my partner were there and left feeling like a part of the family. As a guest you are welcome to do things alone; eating, exploring or just resting but after meeting our hosts it’s hard to stay away. We took towels and toiletries, and water bottles to refill. We had time to explore beautiful Kumily and go on some day hikes in the reserve. Lakshmy is so helpful when it came to us organising things. She speaks multiple languages, has written a beautiful book, does incredible work with/for young women in India and is an absolute delight to just simply sit and talk to. We can’t recommend this place enough. Be ready to slow down, live simply and connect with your surroundings. Enjoy!

We had a comfortable stay at HOME and kumily , and the best part is its proximity to major tourist locations, which made our travel very convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a food processor, cooking utensils, water filter, and fridge — which made meal preparation easy and smooth. The two bedrooms we used were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. However, one of the rooms had been remodeled with a wooden partition, which we personally didn’t prefer, so we opted not to use it. The only concern during our stay was the lack of AC and ventilation. While the weather was cool enough to manage, we feel that installing an AC or enhancing ventilation could make the stay even more comfortable, especially during warmer months. That said, overall, the facilities were top-notch, and we appreciated the peaceful ambiance and accessibility of the property. We’ve left the used utensils behind for cleaning, as instructed. This has been our best loved stay during our entire Kerala trip! A. Beautiful location, amidst woods and birds and passionfruit - jackfruit - mango trees and cardamom, cinnamon plants and flowers. B. Spacious forest facing balcony rooms, well equipped, airy, cool, sparkling clean. C. Absolute gem of a family - the hosts Mr and Mrs Predeesh, the ever charming and hardworking twins Madhav and Manav make you feel right at home and nothing can stop you from slipping into a sweet comfort zone the moment you step in and interact with all of them; not to forget Amma, who is always quiet but watching, smiling through her wise old eyes. D. Safaris, massages, Kalari and Kathakali shows, local recommendations - you name it and Gmsquare makes it happen, easily and efficiently. Always recommended and looking forward to be back! P.S. I've never written such a huge review on Airbnb yet, this is as good as a blog entry lol! Can't help it. The place is magical!!
