Monthly Rentals in Mount Hachimori

We had a little trouble getting there by train... but as soon as we arrived, our worries disappeared. We were greeted by Miwa's mother who was immediately very kind and inviting. She gave us a tour of the accommodation with explanations. She speaks only a little English, but she used her phone to translate for us, which was very much appreciated. During the rest of the stay, she was always available to answer our questions. We also did business with her for the rental of electric bicycles, a very pleasant activity. On our last evening, Miwa's mom even came to offer us a homemade dessert. The accommodation itself is a traditional house that is too cute and very spacious. In short, a great experience, we loved it. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Takashi-san's place. The house is big, nice and very comfortable. It is located right in the center of the old town of Narai surrounded by shops, restaurants and traditional Edo style Japanese houses. The house is fully renovated, very clean, beds are very comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. Takashi-san was a wonderful host, very helpful, gave us lots of restaurant recommendations and allowed us to check-in early. Communication was easy. Great experience! We highly recommend it!

Thank you for the warm welcome. We didn't speak the same language, but we communicated a lot through scattered words and translation software. In addition, Xin also provided me with a lot of help: when I came, I did not know how the tram operated here, Xin explained in detail how to deal with it; when I learned that there was a hot spring, Xin was also very enthusiastic about driving to pick me up; the Mapo tofu for dinner was also very delicious, and for me, a person born in Sichuan, I couldn't find many problems. It's obviously a younger generation than me, but it's very reliable, and I highly recommend staying here!
