We had a fantastic stay here while visiting friends in the lakes! Place was really cosy and homely and the location was very peaceful and gave some lovely views too.

Beautiful cottage - comfortable, cosy and equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay. Lots of lovely original features - especially the wonderful bath and shower! Beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds and beautiful views. Peaceful location and conveniently located. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for your stay in the Lakes!

Without a doubt, Crag Cottages at Threapland Moss is the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. It truly just keeps giving! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the peace, beauty, and thoughtful touches that make this place a hidden gem in the heart of nature. We stayed in Deer Cottage – and the name could not be more fitting. Each morning, we were greeted by deer just outside our window, a magical start to our days that we’ll never forget. The setting is absolutely idyllic: serene, surrounded by trees, wildlife, and the soothing sounds of the countryside – the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The cottage itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. From a well-equipped kitchen to cosy furnishings, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked. We were especially touched by the welcome gifts of freshly baked bread, local milk and butter, and the most delicious rhubarb jam – a warm, personal touch that made us fee
