Townhome holiday rentals in Mississippi River

Ashely and family do a WONDERFUL job on their cute old historic townhouse right in the heart of Ames! So easy to walk to ice cream, food, snacks/convenience mart (Casey’s) and Starbucks. Less than 10 min walk! Easy great parking and easy in and out. Loved the living room and cute little candy tray she left for us. Bedrooms were comfortable, though like a goofball I left some lights on at night for us in the rooms that attracted some buggies. As she states it’s an older home that would come with some of those guys they just get in. Not her fault at all and it was so so clean and comfortable. Happy to stay again when in Ames.

The Artisan Inn is very comfortable and well appointed. Connie left fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies… delicious! We stayed for a wedding and didn’t rent a car but we were able to walk to all the events and to the museum. A walking/bike path is essentially right across the street.

Amazing location! Super close to downtown and Crystal Bridges. Very clean space and would definitely recommend to friends!

The place was really good and few minutes from restaurants. It was also very clean and well maintained. Lots of games and books. The host was proactive and responsive as well. Enjoyed our stay here.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Luis’s place. The house was spacious yet cozy and decorated well. The yard was the best part and securely fenced in just in case you want to bring your dog with you. Great neighborhood with some walkable restaurants and coffee. Very quiet street and overall my stay was very pleasant! Can’t recommend enough.

A quaint historic home in Dubuque. We came to visit Galena, but we're happy we stayed in this home in Dubuque instead! Very close to restaurants and attractions in downtown. Host was very responsive and the home was perfect for our stay.

Great place! SQUEAKY clean! If you tend to get warm easily just an fyi the bedrooms are upstairs and don't cool as well as the rest of the home (typical of double story homes) and the hosts require the AC to be kept above 70°.

Beautiful house. Photos don’t do it justice. Walkable to everything, so quiet and peaceful. Karla was very responsive and super sweet. The treats as a welcome gift were a wonderful bonus. I can’t wait to stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as shown with a number of amenities and Joseph was very responsive to our questions. Restaurants and nearby activities were easy to walk to. We would highly recommend!

Perfect for our group in every way! The rooftop deck gave us a birds-eye view of all the activity on Stillwater’s Main Street. The location, cleanliness, and amenities exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this location.

We have stayed in this neighborhood several times now and the well-appointed property never disappoints. It’s the perfect accommodation for our intended visit—softball. 10 mins to M-Trade park, near any convenience needed for the stay, and minutes from shopping at The Square or walking around the Ole Miss campus. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be back!

It was a great stay we came in for a wedding with little kids. Her space was perfect for us to be able to allow them to play and for us to cook meals! We had a great experience.

Laura was very responsive, and the interior of the house was as advertised. We appreciated the snacks, tea and coffee fixings, and my grandsons loved the playset. Some concerns with the steps in backyard. They were not an issue for us but could be for elderly or those with mobility concerns.

Our stay was perfect. East check in, great location and enough space for two families with small children. Would recommend to family and friends for sure!

Kassie was a very responsive host, and she is very easy to interact with. We had plans to attend an event in Indianapolis, and we decided last minute to stay in Champaign outside all the city hustle. This property was perfect! Quiet area, relaxing, and clean. And, our first rental to include the use of a garage! We were just south of a park with a trail that made it easy for my husband to go on his morning run. This was a great last minute choice for us!

Great place to stay when you have a large group of people and want to just feel like you're at home away from home. Will stay again!
