Cabin holiday rentals in Mississippi River

Lindsey and Heidi’s cabin was such a charming gem of a place. It was clean, cozy, peaceful, and very private! A perfect couples retreat. Her kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook full meals. My favorite detail were the white waffle knit robes. I brought clothes to wear but probably didn’t need to because I pretty much lived in the robes my entire stay!! The hosts were so responsive to my questions and even suggested some local activities that were happening the weekend we were there, which was great! I highly recommend their cabin if you are looking for a place near the Buffalo River!

This was our first official “Bestie Trip,” and this place was perfect! The house has cozy 1950s charm with thoughtful updates, and it’s nestled right in the middle of a beautiful wooded area that’s absolutely teeming with life. You could get lost out there—literally and figuratively. We especially loved starting our mornings on the little platform tucked away on the hill out back—an ideal spot to sip your preferred morning beverage, medicate, and soak in the view with nothing but peace, quiet, and the sound of birds doing their thing. The spa tub quickly became our go-to for unwinding—and honestly, where we spent most of our time. But there’s no shortage of things to do! We threw some axes, played board games, roasted hot dogs and s’mores, and even explored the cutest little cave right at the entrance of the property. You really don’t need to leave to have a full experience. Heads up to future guests: don’t skip the binder on the table just to the right of the front door. It’s full

The house was AMAZING. We booked for a short stay and left wishing we had more time. Also, the hosts were great at responding in a timely manner.

Great location and super secluded area. Great house and very clean. Host is friendly and responds very fast if needed. Clear instructions to enter and leave. Very nice and easy to access to all amenities.

We have have been to a ton of Airbnb’s over the years. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed! Host was incredibly helpful! Gave great recommendations, very friendly, gave very clear instructions and expectations. The place is absolutely stunning! You can tell it’s taken care of and absolutely spotless. Even had a welcome basket with snack when we checked in. There is simply not enough words to describe how perfect this stay was for us! We will be back a minimum of once a year now.

This place was perfect, and I think is SO great they don't charge extra for pets. The area itself was also incredibly pet friendly. The house was beautiful, and we were surrounded by trees so it felt like it was just us. I also love that we didn't have a long list of checkout duties like a lot of AirBNB places do now days. We will definitely be back to this place!

Maryann’s place is incredible and it’s tucked away for privacy but close enough to town to get a bite to eat. She was very friendly and gave recs for places to eat and activities to do. I went for a honeymoon/getaway and there was a bottle of wine and glasses left out for us (very thoughtful and meant a lot to us)! Would highly recommend Blushing Beaver for a getaway!

Patrick was very helpful in our booking experience. He was responsive and the place was a great place to stop for a good nights rest. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. I would recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely loved staying at this cutely decorated and comfortable airbnd. The location is nestled at the back of the property and offers a lot of privacy. The scenery is gorgeous. We needed to ask the Host some questions and she promptly responded and even drove over to reassure us that the water levels for the creek would be safe. We will definitely be booking a second trip at this location!!

Loved the cabin and it felt like home! Couldn’t be happier with the privacy and the creek was amazing for swimming. 5 stars all the way. Mark was quick to respond with any questions we had. A little Ozark Oasis.

This cabin was absolutely wonderful! The privacy is unmatched. The view of the river and mountains were breath taking. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Whether you are a nature lover or just trying to get away from the city it is the perfect place to go. We kayaked and paddle boated 2 out of our 4 night stay. It was a blast. We were able to fish right off the bank and also from the kayak and paddle boat. We caught a few bass and blue gill. We did not encounter another human while on the river or property and that made it even better. Just us and nature. Make sure you bring quarters for the old soda machine! If going to town, eat the biscuits and gravy at the Mercantile Cafe and stop by Arrow 6 for some delicious coffee and muffins. Everyone in the town was so kind and friendly. Todd the host was wonderful as well! Quick on his responses and checking in with you before and after your stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything you needed plus some.

My family and I stayed at Misty Bluff in celebration of my retirement. The best part of the entire experience for me was waking up every morning seeing the sun rising above the mountains from the master bedroom. The house was very clean and the decor made it feel like home. Karla's response time to any question was prompt. I could not have asked for a better experience to start this new chapter of my life.

great place great people can't wait to go back

Our stay at Creekside was amazing. We wanted a peaceful, relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle, and got exactly that. Karly’s place is beautiful, boasting gorgeous views sun up to sun down. Reading in the early morning on the deck while listening to the creek flow behind me was pure joy. Thanks again for a great stay, Karly!

A wonderful place that was better in real-life. Felt like my cortisol was down to zero after about an hour. A few things to note: there are no realy windows/shutters outside of the bedroom, both doors are patio/screen style doors (with locks), and the bathroom requires a very short, shelted walk from the bedroom to the outside. This makes the experience feel more "open" and you're not around very many people, but, I could see how this information would be important to new visitors. Will be back again very soon.

There's a lot to be said for the country. Relaxing, peaceful, brings you back to what is real and true. Can't put a price tag on that. Bless you for sharing your place!

Full cabin experience in a very secluded location. He has an amazing sound system with various vinyls and cds. We saw a bear from the window as well!

If you want to feel the serenity of outside inside, stay here! The views are gorgeous all the way around the home. You feel remote yet accessible to some charming small towns in the area. It’s such a win win! The home itself was beautiful and unique. I don’t know how we will top this place in the future.

My fiancé and I booked the place for our 5 year anniversary. We wanted to get away from home and relax. The place was beautiful. We loved going to the hot tub late at night. The living room furniture was comfortable and we were relaxed watching Netflix. Everything was clean and the showers were amazing. Our trip was peaceful and quiet and we would definitely recommend and come back again.

The cabin was picture perfect, very clean, cozy and comfortable. Hosts were amazing, the hot tub, fire pit, and hammocks made for an extremely relaxing time. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a private, cozy, comfortable, relaxing time in the beautiful mountains of Arkansas!

This cabin is such a sweet, peaceful getaway from the noise of normal day to day living. We were so blessed by being able to refocus on our marriage and escape the constant noise of work and the city by being immersed in nature. This Airbnb is so cosy, tranquil, and is surrounded by such a nice town that envelopes you similar to Stars Hollow on Gilmore Girls. I have a feeling this will become our annual retreat. Thank you so much for a wonderful retreat!

Wonderful, private and peaceful home! Just what we needed!

This ranch was absolutely stunning. The interior was fully stocked. And very comfortable to stay in, we felt immediately at home. The views were breathtaking, and the ponds and wildlife were so much fun. We enjoyed a beautiful evening on the porch and at the fire pit. We explored the property a bit and got some good fishing in and caught four bass. We would most definitely stay again!
