Jim was a wonderful host. He was always available and had great suggestions for local restaurants. His shop is awesome and the apartment was great. Highly recommend.

This apartment was super cozy and warm. Everything was labeled nicely and everything we needed could be found in the kitchen and the bathroom.

Michael and Sandra’s place was as we were hoping, peaceful and private. They were always responsive to any questions we had and were close by if needed.

great value for the money & a nice alternative to the scarcity of hotels in the area ; we had a party on the same side of the highway so it was nice to avoid crossing any major intersections - very comfortable & had what we needed for a single night stay

This is a little gem in the Ozarks. Very quite and extremely clean. Sitting on the porch over looking the lake was perfect. Kayaks are available for you to use. Host are extremely friendly. This is why i continue to return to this location.

The property was cool. Though I did realize how out of shape I was - winded every time I climbed the 2 steep floors to the unit. But so worth it. Spacious, adjustable climate (HVAC), TV, sprawl-able sofa and leather chairs. I was looking forward to having my coffee and reflection time on the back porch but, alas, the weather didn’t cooperate. Several dining options nearby and we walked over to the Fenelon Elevator for an epic view of the Mississippi River. Thanks for the memorable stay - it made a perfect landing on our adventure along the Mississippi River, from the headwaters in MN to the Gulf. Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. The space was very nice and clean and close to town and a short drive to bath house row. I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom beach house at 401 Admiral Drive in Gun Barrel City, TX. The property is perfect for a family getaway — our group of 10 stayed comfortably for two days and had an amazing experience. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything in great working condition. The backyard is truly a highlight — spacious and peaceful with direct access to the water, a fishing dock, and a beach volleyball setup. We also enjoyed water sports right from the property, which made it even more special. The owner, Shinu, was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they really care about the guest experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and family-friendly escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My two sisters and I enjoyed our stay. It was so comfortable and homey and had everything we needed. I especially loved the very hot water in the shower and the heater in the ceiling above the shower.

Great house perfect location no complaints will be rebooking for the summer fun.

This was my second stay at the Harbert House with my two professionally trained dogs, and it was just as exceptional as the first — the backyard is glorious and filled with beautiful flowers, plants, and herbs! Inside the home, the recent updates thoughtfully accentuate the home’s historic Victorian character. The floor length navy velvet blackout curtains were elegant and also allowed me to sleep in after a long day of travel. Quinn and Wade are phenomenal hosts, and this will definitely be my go to property whenever I visit Memphis. 5 stars—thank you again for another great stay!

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! We were looking for somewhere quiet outside of the cities and this place definitely delivered. The hot tub was a hit, we fished off the dock (and actually caught something!) and the house itself was gorgeous. There were plenty of beds for 8 of us to buddy up and they were VERY comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for our large group and made it easy to socialize while preparing meals. Though it did rain most of our stay, the size of the space allowed us to enjoy each other’s company without feeling cramped. The separate apartment was a great bonus as well and offered some additional privacy, plus the one-time extra fee is very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I have no complaints about the location and our host was very responsive anytime we had a question that needed addressing. 10/10 experience and I hope to stay here again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bayou Life. The outdoor space was picturesque, relaxing and spacious. Inside the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We stayed one night. The condo was as described. Very nice layout of space. Very clean and taken care of. Enjoyed a quiet evening on the deck sipping on some adult beverages that were supplied by our host. The bed was very comfy and had a great night of rest. The late check out was a nice touch. We will definitely stay here here again when in the area.

Jacob’s place was great! Everything was new and very clean! It’s minutes away from the Diamondhead country club and golf course. Jacob was very responsive, sending recommendations for nearby activities during our stay. We will surely be back.

Like the others, we loved this condo. But in the spirit of leaving behind something more useful than “Great place! Would stay again!” here is brand new information: First, the bedside tables each have a little cubby perfectly sized for a CPAP machine. Rejoice! It could also house a bottle of vodka, a half-eaten package of Fig Newtons, and a copy of Anna Karenina. Probably. There are power outlets on both sides of the downstairs bed. This allowed me and my husband to charge our phones, which in turn allowed us to lie in bed side by side, scrolling TikTok until we questioned whether human connection was ever real in the first place. As for the bed itself: imagine being lovingly held by a giant, benevolent marshmallow. I slept so well we began to question whether we had any reason to ever leave the condo at all, which raised larger, more existential questions that I am still unpacking. In short: come for the condo, stay for the sleep. BYO Fig Newtons.

My partner and I had a great stay! The property looked exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and peaceful. Being right on the lake made it even more relaxing, and we especially loved spending time under the covered patio. Everything was just as described, and check-in was smooth. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway.

Lovely home and helpful host, only a quick walk away from the beach and lots to do nearby. There's a train track that runs right next to the house which can be very loud but after the first night it didn’t bother us. Would stay here again!

Awesome experience . We booked this get away for our anniversary, to relax , reconnect , and reset . The atmosphere and environment was perfect for what we needed . I highly recommend .
