Holiday rentals with lake access in Minnesota

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a serene place in the middle of Minnesota!

Awesome spot! The house has great spots to hang out outdoors in nice weather, and cozy places inside when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. Everything you’d expect to have is there, plus more (functional pizza oven, speakers, dog supplies). Located a few minutes from Grand Marais, set back up the hill in the woods with views of the lake. Would have loved to stay longer :)

This lovely place was equipped with everything we needed. Towels were new and of good quality, the kitchen had a Keurig and a drip coffee maker with a great selection of ground coffees, there were fresh, local eggs in the frig, and candy snacks in a jar. Joanne thought of everything! The beds were so comfortable and it was quiet at night. We appreciated Joanne’s flexibility in letting us have a late check-out our last morning so that we enjoy our morning on the deck overlooking the lake.

This house was perfect getaway! very spacious,clean and truly comfortable. definitely a home away from home. if we are ever in Spicer again, we will book again!

Viewpoint was enchantingly perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Our children (6 and 2) were fascinated by the records and CDs, and we had dance parties every afternoon. The bedrooms and game room were perfect for them - table and chairs for coloring, board games and Twister, and a guitar for my husband to entertain them with. The outdoor table served as a perfect stage for their musical performances, and we all loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. The grown ups loved the beautiful mug collection, proximity to Fika, easy access to Grand Marais, and the view. I have never felt more at peace than we did at the Virwpoint. We had a wonderful stay!! Accommodations are spacious with plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained and space to spread out. Perfect place for our family get away!!!

The place was very peaceful. Looking out directly at the lake right out in front of the kitchen made cooking a dream. We just enjoyed the view. We enjoyed paddle boarding and dipping in, and lucked out with incredible weather. Talked around the campfire at night and slept well in very comfortable beds. Felt private and was a beautiful setting. I would definitely go back.

We stayed at Cedar Cove for 5 nights with our extended family with an age range of 18 months to 80 years. This house is a perfect place for a multi generation get together. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful house and furnishings. There are multiple sitting areas and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen ware we could have needed. It is also stocked with many good books, puzzles and games. It is a perfect place to get away and relax.

Nice cozy spot for the family to stay. Felt right at home. Would stay there again!

It was a great place to stay for the weekend

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

The Sunshine Studio was just what I needed for a solo retreat! Felt safe and right at home upon arrival. "Sunshine" is an appropriate name for this cute and cozy space. Loads of sunlight is plentiful. Quiet and peaceful surrounds, comfortable bedding, and an easy, quick walk to the beach makes this a tranquil stay. I'd highly recommend. Chad, the manager, checked in to see if I needed anything with friendly communication. Will definitely be back!

Loved staying here with my family while dropping in for a quick visit in the twin cities. The lakes district is absolutely stunning, the architecture of the surrounding neighborhoods is hypnotizing. Staying here you’re located on a block away from Cedar lake and within striking distance of downtown MPLS. If you’re a runner/walker/biked the trail access is incredible. Access to the backyard area is quite nice in the summer as well! Thanks for hosting our lovely weekend! Cheers.

The floor to ceiling picture window shows the beautiful view of the Lake. The interior is exactly how it appears in the pictures. There were extra touches in every room including a beautifully stocked kitchen, coffees, teas, etc. Clear, subtle instructions in each room. A quiet peaceful getaway. Would definitely rent again. We really enjoyed Paula's cottage. While small, we loved the authentic feel of a 100+ year old home. Paula did a really nice job updating without losing that authenticity. The location is great if you love enjoying the beauty that the north shore has to offer. We took advantage of the beach that is within walking distance as well as the many trails that are across the highway. Paula was a tremendous host, being quick to answer our questions and offer suggestions. We drove into Duluth multiple times, which is about 20 minutes away. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely anniversary weekend away. The place was peaceful, quiet, and had great views. Everything inside was clean and comfortable, even though the bed was a bit stiff. Just a few minutes into town and you had your pick of resturants or any needed shopping. Biking trail in the backyard was fun but very circuitous. Definitely recommend!

We had such a great stay! The house is perfect for a small group trip and the surrounding area is so peaceful and gorgeous. Siri was very responsive and even baked us corn muffins upon our arrival and lent us some cooking oil. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at Little House several times before and it is always a wonderful experience. I would say it's our favorite Airbnb location in the Twin Cities and if it's available to book, we always do!

We saw muskrats, ducks, turtles, hawks, herons and the best of all was a black bear across the lake. The sounds we heard at night were amazing! The frogs put us to sleep, and we heard a lot of unusual animal sounds that we had never heard before, but couldn't figure out what they were. That's saying a lot, because we live in the mountains in Colorado.

If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy, relaxing, cabin getaway, this is your place! Saw and heard loons every day/night, which is always cool. Very easy to relax and enjoy the surrounding wildlife and scenery, highly recommend!

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous!! It has so much to offer with a beautiful view on the lake, a hot tub, a fire pit area, a beautiful walking trail, and so much more! It was the perfect place to celebrate a bachelorette weekend and so many amazing memories were made here. The host was very helpful and always answered any questions. The house was stocked with lots of cooking supplies and cleaning products that made it easy to stay there. I hope to be able to come back to this cottage in the future because it was the best weekend!!
