The place was gregarious, I really recommend it the place it’s very peaceful and it’s private that’s why we love the place. Caroline was very kind and friendly!

Our stay was absolutely the best. Diane was great to work with, before and during our stay. Half of our wedding party was able to comfortably stay during the weekend, and there was plenty of space, activities, and privacy for a small cozy groom’s dinner on site. Thank you Diane, and other hosts, for a beautiful site and a wonderful weekend! Highly recommended and we would definitely be interested in a return visit. 💞

This farm was just as described. The hosts were kind and accommodating. The property was great and we walked around the farm many times a day. We appreciated the fresh muffins that were thoughtfully left for us. We bought a jar of local honey, look for it on the porch! We used the fire pit for s’mores and enjoyed the swing. Bring a flashlight! It gets dark at night and we couldn’t seem to find one. We would definitely stay here again. Great hosts and a wonderful property. Thank you!

This place always feels like our home away from home. Everything we need is ready for us, and it's easy to settle in. The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful hosts are beyond compare. Already looking forward to our next stay!

We loved Cindy's cottage in the beautiful driftless area of Minnesota. Plenty of wildlife and gorgeous scenery; the cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. It even has ample hooks for hanging things! Hardly anyone does. The coyote serenade was nice too!

Naomi saved our Mothers Day disaster from another host. Not only was Naomi a superb host, her cabin was simply amazing. A place to relax and be carefree. Kids to run and play with the dogs, with no care in the world. A loft perfect for them to find sleep. A kitchen perfect for endless home cooked meals. This cabin was so perfect to take the kids mom and grandma to disappear from reality and be one with nature, family, and self. With non stop, amazing selection of vinyl records on rotation and though available, a TV and electronics were far from necessary. The peacefulness after the sun set and the calm of the rising sun. Naomi always there when we had a question. The forest park with a beach and fire tower just a few miles away along with town being not too close but not too far. This cabin was what we needed and was our much needed paradise. This will become a new annual spot. Beautiful cabin with a beautiful history.

We had an absolutely marvelous time getting a taste of life on a farm. Our grandkids found eggs, bottle-fed lambs, played on the tree swing and just had a blast! One of our 3 year old grandkids cried because she didn’t want to leave on the last day. This was a magical family experience!

Nordic Horse House, is the perfect MN farmhouse experience. Filled with treasures and information. Those who miss that feeling of childhood memories of visiting your grandparents farm, you will find it here! Great host, great attractions and home away from home.

Lorne’s place was absolutely spectacular. We stayed here for a motocross race about 35 mins away. This was such a peaceful property - with beautiful views including the farm animals! Lorne was a wonderful host and even gave my son a tour of the property and let him catch a goat to hold. Lorne’s restaraunt just down the road really tops off the whole experience. I highly recommend especially for other moto riders visiting for Spring Creek and be sure to grab a bite - breakfast, lunch or dinner, at the restaurant!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! Carol was a fantastic host, and the property was incredible! It was very clean, quiet, peaceful, well-equipped and spacious for a group! We also got to enjoy a few playful visits from their dog Sonny! I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay at Hygge Valley Hideaway was a picture perfect weekend. Kammi was a wonderful host who clearly loves this property. The cabin-feel was so cozy, the sunset views were spectacular, and everything was clean and clearly marked. We loved our visit!

Loved our visit! Place was just like the pictures although you probably even lovelier in person. Clean, well stocked, and comfy. Host was super friendly and kind, and we enjoyed meeting the dogs, puppies, and seeing the chickens (fresh eggs were amazing!). Home was quiet and close enough to Northfield to enjoy the town and visit our alma mater while still relaxing with some country vibes. Definitely will be back someday!

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

Our only complaint about our stay was the weather! We are already planning our next stay. This place is a true treasure. The place was the cleanest rental we've stayed at! There were welcome snacks for us when we arrived and toiletries for us to use in case we forgot. We also weren't expected to clean the whole place before we checked. We felt valued, vs other places that nickle and dime you on everything. A truely unique place to stay!

Extremely clean. We had everything we needed and more. Many organic details which we appreciated. Garden and chickens were amazing. Made a fresh garden salad one night. Would stay again for certain. One of the best airbnb I have stayed in.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views from the many huge windows and 2 decks are amazing! We had 3 turkeys and a deer roaming the yard during our stay, which was so delightful. The house was extremely comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed with nice extras. It was so relaxing and quiet there that we didn't even want to leave the property. We did go to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha which was fun and interesting. Wabasha is an easy drive from the house and has a grocery store and Kwik Trip for all your needs. Dale was very responsive to my messages and very friendly. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Although the gps had a difficult time finding the house at first, once we got there it was quite, peaceful and beautiful scenery. Lots of wildlife flying or walking about. Only a few minutes drom town. Kathryn was alway quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!

When we arrived, Kody was just finishing mowing. Peaceful setting looking out over the valley where the corn was growing, hay being baled and the creek. We enjoyed our stay. We will stay again in the future while visiting family in the area. Kody recommended a short travel route on gravel to a hard/pavement surface which made trips to and from New Albin or Caledonia easier.

We stayed at this house for a long weekend at the end of May. The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy time outside. The extra items inside the house were above and beyond (laundry soap, coffee beans, phone chargers connected in the bedrooms. The house was very clean and looked like the photos. There was also a double washer/dryer and lots of pool towels. Zach & Betsy were very responsive from the time we booked the rental until the time we checked out. We can’t wait to visit again and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in or around Chisago City.

A true hidden gem! We did a group snowmobile trip from here and couldn't be happier that we picked this place! Meredith answered our questions regarding parking for our multiple larger trucks & trailers (we did need to back in our 4 place trailer but it was a very straight driveway back and not hard to do) and snowmobile trail out to the main trail. The place is big, clean and comfortable and has everything you could need including wifi. Beds are comfortable. Glenn was a joy to talk with and even lead our group on snowmobile out to the lake! Will be planning another trip here in the future!

Just had a wonderful weekend at Dan and Catherine's house in Alexandria. We were 10 older folks there to bike the Central Lakes Trail, and this was very convenient. I can't find any fault with our hosts or the accommodations. The house was spacious. Each of us had their own room, and the two bathrooms was adequate for what we needed. There is a really nice patio with a table that seated everybody, and fire ring where we sat on evening for a campfire, and a large dining table indoors. Everyone agreed it was a great place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty to do indoors, but we didn't take much advantage of it because the weather turned spectacular so we mostly stayed outside. Highly recommend these hosts!

This Airbnb is a great! My family of 8 stayed here and have the best experience. The rental itself was just perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and nice clean sheets. The bathroom has a nice shower and tub with nice towels for everyone. The living room could accommodate everyone for watching movies at night. What a great kitchen! it has everything you need plenty of plates, bowls, drinking glasses and coffee cups. This kitchen is well stalked with cooking and baking pans, utensils, bowls and trays. The coffee maker was great accommodating a single serve or a 12 cup batch of coffee. One of the highlights of this property is the amazing yard. The property is very private and extremely well taken care of. They have plenty of outdoor seating which includes a patio table and chairs and great bonfire pit. This farmhouse has everything you could ever require. The host and hostesses went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

This place was absolutely stunning! My bridesmaids and I stayed here for my wedding weekend in stillwater. Jake and Abby were flexible with check-in/check-out. The place was clean and so beautiful. Would highly recommend! Thanka Jake & Abby
