Lake house holiday rentals in Minnesota

Our 4th year in a row staying here, my BFF Dan and I feel like we're coming to our home away from home. It feels personal...so familiar and comfortable. We feel so much gratitude for the type of place this is - it's comfortable, cozy, homey feel, and the type of homeowners Cari Beth and Erich are - personable, incredibly kind, and so willing and happy to accommodate their guests. How often do you become friends with the owners?? Such a special place, owned and cared for by truly special people.

This place was the perfect getaway for a group of us! It was peaceful, refreshing, and the view of the lake every morning was breathtaking. The neighbors were closer than expected, but it didn't bother us that much. Would def stay again.

This is the best place I've stayed at that's right along the lake! The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had and very helpful! Our moms weekend trip was not only relaxing and had the most beautiful views, but we felt welcomed and like it was home away from home. We will definitely be booking this location again! 😊

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. We had a great time fishing, eating at various places and traveling the North Shore.

If you are looking for an off the beaten track beautiful cozy cabin on a lake, this is for you. The cabin was spacious and comfortable , bird songs & baby ducks and geese on the lake. Oh and the sunsets- amazing. A peaceful retreat, Local restaurants very close by to enjoy. It was Lake life in Minnesota!!

This was our second time at Deidra’s Tofte home, and if possible - it was even more magical than our first time. Not only is she an amazing host - we basically planned our itinerary around all her wonderful recommendations - but this house is just a gem on the north shore. Well stocked, better than photos, and pristine views of the lake each day. We’ll be back again and again 😊

This charming cabin was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway! The inside was very cozy and super clean. The backyard area was so peaceful and we loved having the fire pit, dock, and kayaks right there! Overall we had an amazing stay and will forsure be re-booking.

The only complaint I have is the lake is very busy on the weekends and there is houses being built all around during week. It was very noisy during the week. At the same time I loved it so much I didn’t want to leave.

Rachel's lake house was absolutely lovely - spacious, gorgeous views from the second you walk in, comfortable beds, clean and inviting kitchen, and your own oasis just steps outside the back door. When my travel plans changed, she was so kind and responsive and made it potentially stressful situation seamless. I would 1000% stay here again!

Michelle! Thank you so much for being such and amazing host! We LOVEDD your place and how helpful and responsive you were! The place blew all of our expectations! We were all so happy as soon as we entered the house cause of how pretty it was. Everything was perfect and more than anything that we could have ever asked for. We made so many beautiful memories that we’ll cherish for lifetime. We DID NOT wanted to leave the house and even 2 days after we are reminiscing out stay through pictures counting days we can be back again. Thank you so much Michelle again for being such great hosts and letting us stay im your place. We tried our best to take as much care of your house as we could. I hope it was enough. I wanted to share how appreciative I am of the efforts of keeping your property chemical and fragrance free! I was so impressed! We keep a non-toxic home as well and staying in rentals always give me a bit of anxiety with all the common cleaners used. I loved being able to bring my little ones here and be so comfortable and at peace. Thank you! I wish there were more properties out there that take a healthy environment as seriously as you guys.

we had a great time at living on the edge! even with 7 people, we still had plenty of space. the kitchen was very well stocked. we brought our own crock pot and didn't even need it because there was one supplied.

What a lovely home and beautiful surroundings!! It was very homey and comfortable for our group of 4 on a girlfriend weekend get-a-way - the kitchen and dining area were perfect to spend cooking and eating together! And with it being winter, it was fun to have a bonfire down by the frozen lake! Our host, Donna, was quick to respond and very helpful with whatever we needed. Our group would return in a heart beat!!

Such an adorable little cabin. We had a great time fishing and having bonfires. My 9 year old caught his first huge catfish off the dock the first night and during the day, we caught smallmouth. Very clean and cozy tiny cabin with everything we needed for some relaxation and fishing. The book selection at the cabin was unexpectedly perfect and such a cool perk. I wish I could’ve read all of them. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We hope to visit again.

Patrick was a great host! Always responsive and helpful when I had questions. The place was very well kept and a great space for a vacation! Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend this place!

The cabin is very nicely done! The lake was great for fishing. We do wish there was a table outside and some outdoor games or water toys to use; otherwise, it had everything we needed and was a great place to stay.

Kitchen fully stocked, numerous cozy sitting areas, screened sunroom, games, linens exceptional, lovely back yard at lake with kayaks, life jackets, pool table. This home fulfilled everything we could have asked for. Great communication

Zoe’s cabin was the perfect spot for my group of 8 friends. We so enjoyed the kayaks at sunrise, the sauna, and the stocked kitchen. We will be back!

My husband and I felt like we scored a fabulous rental! It has the best of what we love: Large comfortable home/space, natural surroundings (especially near bodies of water!) but still close to shops, restaurants, and so on, plus good communication with the host. We would definitely stay here again and we recommend Sabrina's place to others.
