We had a lovely stay at Damiano's and his wife's. The garden has views of Etna and the surrounding countryside. The house is located by car about 1 hr from Catania and Syracuse. Vendicari Nature Reserve is 1.5 hours away. We recommend this charming place located near Mineo pretty typical village.

I had such a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and just as described. Gaetano was so friendly, he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and that I felt right at home. Great communication, local tips, and just an overall lovely vibe. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the stay very much. We were even lucky enough to see a dolphin in the sea on the first morning, from our terrace. We will definitely be back.

Staying at Caterina and Francesco’s home in Nicosia was one of the most special experiences of our trip to Sicily. One of the absolute highlights was being invited by Caterina’s and Francesco’s wonderful parents to learn how to cook a traditional Sicilian three-course dinner. Not only did they patiently teach us step-by-step, but we also got to share the meal together, creating memories we’ll treasure forever. It was an experience filled with kindness, laughter, and incredible food — truly a taste of real Sicilian hospitality. We felt like part of the family and left with full hearts (and full stomachs!).
