Family-friendly holiday rentals in Milford

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend retreat. It was the perfect getaway—peaceful, comfortable, and just as described. Highly recommend!

We went for a quick weekend getaway with our two dogs and absolutely loved William and Liz’s home, we didn’t want to leave!! I loved the privacy, how peaceful it was, and of course the views! Our dogs enjoyed all the free space to run as well. We unfortunately had a lot of rain when we stayed, causing our tour of howes cavern to be canceled due to flash flooding. We were rescheduled which affected our check out time, but they were so sweet and offered us to check out whenever we liked and even offered us an extra night to stay! (We wish we could have). It was a wonderful weekend getaway and we all can’t wait to go back! :)

The location is great, beautiful location. The hot tub was wonderful and the pool table was enjoyed by all.

The best review we can give is that this was our third time returning to this amazing house for a winter escape. The house is stunning and abounds with character. Relaxing by the fire, cooking in the well-equipped and cozy kitchen, dining by candlelight. It’s a gorgeous old home that has been beautifully maintained and has all the creature comforts you’ll desire. The area is beautiful in any season, with several quaint towns close by with local shopping and ample dining options. Scott is also a responsive and generous host, though I doubt you’ll need anything at all! Go enjoy this beautiful home!

Actually, the photos of this place do not do it justice at all. This property is incredible! It was everything (and more!) of what we were looking for. A long holiday weekend very well spent in a clean, extremely well kept, and cozy place hidden in a beautiful forest. The hosts were top-notch! Incredibly helpful and super responsive. We would love to visit again!

Great stay at Fabio’s Home in Prattsville, we were looking for a remote location away from the city. We were working from home, Internet was fast which is not common in the area. Home was recently renovated: kitchen, common areas and bathrooms. Since we only needed 2 bedrooms, we decided to use the ones located upstairs vs the one that is on the garage level. Kitchen is equipped with anything one needs, the outdoor grills are a great option. We had a snow day and the scenery was beautiful.

David & Tanya were absolutely wonderful hosts! My friends and I had an amazing time at their home! It was very clean, the amenities were plentiful, and only minutes from both Belleayre & Plattekill Mountain! We had such a great time, & if there were ever any questions/concerns, David was only a call away. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful & quaint stay in upstate NY!

Amo's house was beautiful, comfortable and easy to be in. He was very responsive to any questions and extremely accommodating. The grounds are ample for the children to enjoy in many ways. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our large family and everyone was happy. We hope to return next year.

Jen & Caroline’s place was exactly as described and just what we needed for a Catskills getaway. We even got to see a hometown Saint Patrick’s day parade that Jen and Caroline recommended - and allowed us to check out a little late so we could attend. So sweet. Would recommend for your Catskills vacation.

We were looking for a quiet family getaway while visiting family in the area - this was the perfect place. The surrounding area was gorgeous, surrounded by fall leaves with a nearby lake to take in. Robert was a generous and responsive host - would absolutely recommend!

We had the best time staying at this cozy cottage, very comfortable with an awesome view! Kitchen had everything we would need. Great hospitality from Wayne and Renee! We can’t wait to come back again soon

Cheri’s place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. I got in later than expected and was greeted by homemade pumpkin bread! If you stay, be sure to check out the bakery across the street.

Our second stay here and it once again was the perfect place to spend a few days in Cooperstown. You're close to everything in the village plus you can literally walk out the door and into the woods for that amazing hike to Star Field.

Robert and Sandra were so helpful in making sure we were able to get the experience we were hoping for. The cabin is beautiful and we enjoyed looking through the photos of its construction. It was clean, comfortable, and very private.

This was perfect. Atop a field in the middle of nowhere we had what seemed like the world to ourselves. With amazing views all around and fields to walk thru and explore, this was just what we needed to unplug. We will be back.

Allen’s place is perfect for either a big family gathering or multiple families sharing a large space. Having a separate bathroom for each bedroom with 2 upstairs sharing a wing was perfect for our group. It’s a beautiful setting with tons of wildlife around!! Having this as our home base made for an incredible Cooperstown experience…I only wish we had more time to enjoy the home away from the ball fields! Both Allen and Amy were great always quick to respond. I would highly recommend!!!

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. Andres is a great communicator and was very helpful. The cabin was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the board games and the snowy garden and we found everything we needed to cook. The location is great, close to skiing and stores, but also quiet and picturesque in the woods. We would love to visit again in the future.

Had a great time at the cozy cabin. It's a cabin but still has some nice amenities. Location is somewhat close to road, you can hear occasional cars go by. Still, back by the pond it feels like being away from it all. I had a blast hiking local trails and enjoying the foliage.

This was a absolute gem of an Airbnb. The location was everything my wife and I imagine for our kids to grow up in one day. The plot of land the home sat on was one from a fairytale. Melody was a great host. We will 100% be back to this location.

Jeri was a fantastic host to my girlfriend and I! She was very friendly and responsive, and her loft was very cozy, clean, and spacious! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to Delaware County!

Rob's home is directly across the street from Cooperstown Dreams Park and was the perfect spot for us to watch our 12 year old play. I could easily run my parents home between games to cool off in the A/C. The pool was a welcome spot for several of the boys on the team and the coaches. Rob was very kind, and welcoming. A perfect stay for any family playing at Dreams Park!

We booked the house for its distance to Cooperstown. And it was just as far as he advertised and well worth the few extra moments to the Dream Park. He accommodated us with a very early check in of 3am the day of. And I only texted at 2am with the request. I was shocked that he even responded, let alone met us at the house to let us in and give us a “midnight” tour. It was extremely accommodating and welcoming. He did charge a small fee, as expected of course. Then I got to tour this beautiful, historic, huge, full of love home. The amount of different rooms each filled with a colorful chapter in a fabulous novel you don’t want to put down. I was blown away. Everything he describes was accurate. The a/c upstairs only. But honestly, Tom told is to leave the windows downstairs open at night and it provides such a beautiful breeze and keeps the house warm during the day. I wish to come back next year and just not leave the house other than to hike and go in the pool. Wildlife amazing too

We were staying at this rental because our son was playing at Cooperstown All Star Village for the week. We received quite a few notifications leading up, and even including an earlier check-in time. Everything that we needed was available to us, and we truly felt at home. Would definitely rent from them again if we end up coming up here again for one of our other sons. And the added pens, when we arrived where I hit with my younger boys. Thank you so much!

This comfortable, cozy, magical piece of Catskill paradise was the perfect place to gather to mourn the loss of my father and make some new family memories for a lifetime. Photography is a hobby of mine and the picturesque landscape allowed me to get lost in my passion. We cooked all our meals together in the well-appointed kitchen, challenged each other in the PacMan arcade game and cuddled up together to watch the stars shine and a movie on the comfy couch. We took long walks and met two local farm horses grazing freely in the local fields. The wonderful host was very accommodating and fast to respond. We loved her thorough recommendations for local dining, fun activities and nearby shopping. Book this cabin in the Catskills! You will not be disappointed! We will be back! ". . . there are deeper gorges, greater streams and higher mountains but in no other place is the combination so blended into a harmony so perfect as to form such tempting bits for the camera or the brush.”
