House holiday rentals in Middlesex County

This was the perfect spot for what we were looking for as my son graduated from Conn College. The host was very responsive to my questions and flexible with check in times which we needed. House was exactly what was described and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

We had a perfect weekend at Mk’s place! After a very rough start to our weekend at another unsuitable air bnb (for reasons I won’t mention) Mk was extremely accommodating and her place was perfect. I would stay here again and again! We were sad to have to leave!

We loved staying at this home - it was the perfect place for our group of ten. The outdoor space was definitely the highlight, with the pool & spa being our favorite part of the trip. The only thing to note is that we weren’t supplied quite enough toilet paper or paper towels, though I did not reach out for more - It was the last evening when we ran out and we were leaving early the next morning. The trash requirements were a surprise after booking, but going to the transfer station was easy enough, and it is listed on the house rules. Overall, an excellent stay and would absolutely return!

This is a beautiful farmhouse setting with gorgeous gardens, chickens, a nice screened in private porch, and a very friendly and adorable kitty. Jessica was a great host and provided some delicious homemade yogurt with milk and fruit, and plenty of coffee and tea. We brought our dog and he was comfortable there, we had plenty of space to walk him around.

We had an amazing stay! Ben was a fantastic host—responsive, friendly, and full of great local tips that really made our trip special. The house itself is just as beautiful (if not better!) than the photos—stylish, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We rented bikes, and our kids loved the freedom of biking into town, to the beach, and to nearby restaurants. The location was perfect for relaxing and exploring.

We had a lovely stay at Eric's home. The home exceeded our expectations and we felt right at home. The decor was warm and inviting. Everything you could possibly need was in the stunning, modern kitchen. The beds were all comfortable and we slept very well. The property was very peaceful. We enjoyed seeing deer, turkeys and hawks each day. The fixtures in the home were modern, clean and high-end. It was great being so close to Greenport with it's wonderful restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our time at Elizabeth Jane's place. The home is spacious and quaint, with nice furnishings, a tasteful colonial feel and easy access to downtown Litchfield and the Berkshires. The bucolic setting is lovely - scenic, relaxing and peaceful.

This house was PERFECT for us - four women returning to their college for their 45th reunion. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was extremely comfortable. Carlos was responsive and helpful. We would definitely return to this house.

Lena was wonderful. She warmly welcomed me and my guest, making our stay very comfortable and easy. She even left me a note with birthday wishes, along with a box of delicious baked cookies. The apartment is charming and spacious, located on top of their home, with a large yard and peaceful scenery.

There’s so much to love about this charming open plan beach cottage! We especially enjoyed the water views, hearing the birds, and eating on the breezy porch. It was sparkling clean and stocked with everything you’d need, from comfortable beds and towels to many thoughtful essentials like hand and dish soaps, tea and coffee pods, paper towels/toilet paper, and shampoo/conditioner. Eileen is a gracious and responsive host — she was particularly understanding when we had to reschedule our visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Eileen, and we hope to return!

We are a group of 5 women who have been getting together for long weekends once or twice a year for many years. Brenda and Dean’s place is one of the most wonderful homes we have stayed in. They are terrific hosts — communicate quickly, answer all questions and are very generous in the treats provided. The house is perfect - exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, lots of seating and a lovely view. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

I can't say enough good things about John and Betsey's beautiful little river cottage. We traveled to Connecticut from Oregon for our daughter's college graduation and the cottage ended up being the perfect place to stay. It was an easy, traffic-free twenty-minute drive from the college (Wesleyan) and allowed us to retreat each day from the fray and intensity of graduation move-out activities. The setting is fantastic--peaceful, right on the river, with a lovely seating area right at the river's edge, with incredible views of the East Haddam Swing Bridge, the historic opera house and inn across the way, and just enough river activity to keep things interesting without ever being loud or intrusive (we were there in late May). The house itself is very comfortable, with a lovely view of the river from the living room, a well-stocked kitchen, and really anything you could want or need (including lots of games). The house is also walkable or a short drive to coffee, shops, and groceries.

This was the perfect place to stay for our weekend get away. It’s a great location close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, and beaches. We had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Travis' place with my husband and two young daughters. The house is beautifully appointed and so cozy. We played games by the fire, watched a movie in the cozy tv room, and made and enjoyed lovely meals in the kitchen. The house is even more magical than it looks in the photos, and we certainly hope to be back.

We had a wonderful few days at The Sandbox! The location is amazing - literally just steps from the beach. The house is small but cozy, and was well stocked. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard and easy trips into town. Definitely recommend!

My husband, dog, and I LOVED our stay here- so much that Danielle accommodated for us to stay an additional day! It was the perfect location. Private enough where we felt secluded, but yet right off of a main road with so many great restaurants to walk to! The beach was about a 5 minute walk, and left us with the perfect spot and feeling like we had the beach completely to ourselves the days we were there. We are already talking about going back, and can’t wait to plan our next trip. Thanks so much!

The house was beautiful! It was updated in every area and very well kept. It was one of the nicest AirBnB's our family has ever stayed in, and it was very well worth it. Very close to some great restaurants and fun places to visit. I would definitely stay again if I were back in the area.

We had an amazing time at Brian’s home. The beach was just steps away and very private to just those of the association but, most times we had it to ourselves! So serene! Thank you for a fantastic vacation.

Fantastic cute spot in Old Saybrook. Key things for future guests to know - there is no A/C in the winter months so the air can get a bit stale / stuffy in the house. Plus there is no washing machine / dryer in the house, so defo bring enough clothes!

I can’t say enough great things about this home and I would definitely stay there again. Mario was super nice, very quick to respond to any text, and very hospitable. This house is super kid friendly with a swing and playhouse outside as well as a kids’ cubby and fort off the master bedroom. It was perfect for my family!! I feel lucky we were able to secure this special little spot in precious Guilford!!!

Our family had to unexpectedly travel due to a death in the family. We were able to make the reservation on very short notice and extend our stay as the details for the funeral evolved. The house was a perfect refuge for our family as we gathered from across the country. The kitchen was well stocked and we spent a lot of time in the sunroom watching the many rabbits in the yard. The many windows and skylights in the house brought light to us in a time of darkness. There was a very good grocery store less than a mile from the house which was very easy to access. Anna was responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our unexpected extended stay.

Our family had a beautiful stay at the Purple Button Factory. Charming and comfortable, this historic house was perfect for exploring Guilford. A special nostalgic trip for us as my children grew up here. Short walk to wonderful cafes and shops on The Green. We loved the birdlife and views from the back patio and absolutely fell in love with the picturesque sunny kitchen. Spent a lot of time gathered together there around the wooden table.
