Jewett Pond Retreat

Relax in the Western Maine Foothills at our cabin on Jewett Pond. The main cabin has 672 sq ft of finished living space with bedroom (queen bed), bathroom, basic kitchen, great room (queen sleeper sofa), and screened porch. There is an additional rustic bunkhouse with two twin beds. This space is ideal for a couple or adventurous family who enjoys swimming, canoeing, hiking, fishing, or sitting on the screened porch with a good book and pine forest backdrop. Canoe included with booking.

There is no TV or internet, even our phone is an old rotary one. You will see that we have a good radio, and games and books to read, and plenty of things to do outside. This attractively renovated camp in the High Peaks region of western Maine is the perfect place to get away and unplug. Surrounded by conservation land, the camp is airy and bright, with views opening onto woods and stream, and is well screened. Solar panels provide water and electricity. There's limited satellite internet service for emailing and texting, and sometimes phone through wifi, depending on your service provider.
