If you are looking for a simple and comfortable studio in Freeport, this is a great spot! It's a simple walk to a terrific food market, a local park, and all the shops and restaurants downtown. What we loved the most was the short drive to Wolfe's Neck Farm and Winslow Park, and the easy 25 minute drive into the heart of Portland. This was also the perfect landing spot for our elderly dog who struggles with stairs-- we all enjoyed the lovely deck and yard and the safe, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Ani’s garden oasis was adorable! It was just the right amount of space for us. It’s spacious and cozy. We enjoyed ourselves. We look forward to visiting again.

Michele and her husband were absolutely amazing! So incredibly kind and their home is on a beautiful piece of property. Situated in a remote area in between York and Ogunquit it was easy to get ANYWHERE! Michele was incredibly responsive with questions, recommendations, and just about anything you could need. I would HIGHLY recommend staying with them!

Your home was the perfect fit for me, my niece and great niece. It was nice to each have our own comfy bed on scent free sheets. We loved the funky, unique feel of the place and really enjoyed all the art work. We appreciated the snacks, coffee, tea and 1/2 n 1/2 provided. UNE was only one mile down the road which was really convenient. We enjoyed eating at Jewel of India and Coco’s Bar and Grill. Our favorite place in town was Elements where you can have a coffee, tea or beer while you browse the bookstore. Ian and Suzen were great hosts!! I would definitely book this space again!! UNE is still my great-niece’s 1st choice.

Wonderful stay, the place was in a beautiful location, walkable to Wolfe’s Neck Farm where we love to walk. My husband and I were there the first few days, then our adult daughter joined us for two nights. The place is small (described accurately) but the three of us found it very workable. The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of outside patio space to lounge and soak up the sun when it was out. This was a work trip for us as we were getting a property in a nearby town ready for sale. We didn’t have time to use the provided kayaks but hope to in a future stay. The hosts very friendly and accommodating, highly recommended this property.

Charming, cozy and comfortable rental. This cheerful, spotless apt was the perfect location for us to enjoy Bowdoin and Brunswick and had all the amenities we needed. Nina and Tony are the consummate hosts - welcoming and highly responsive. Without hesitation, I would stay here again.

Petr and Kristi (and Luna!!🐈‍⬛) were so welcoming and friendly hosts. They were happy to share their local recommendations and even to just chat! The place was also very clean. Highly recommend this one! :)

What a delightful little cottage above the garage; a cottage with an unmatched ocean view. Tom was always responsive, while Nancy, who was on site, was warm and welcoming, like meeting an old friend. The location was tranquil, remote yet easily reachable by car, perfect for getting away from the crowd. I'll definitely put this one at the top of my coastal Maine list.

Dindy’s Room with a View is a calm retreat where you can sip your morning coffee and watch the shifting tides amidst the changing light, and if you wake early enough, the sunrise through the windows or from a bench specially placed alongside the private pier. We were charmed by the local visitors: yellow finches at the feeders, the resident fox, and a pair of mallard ducks, the male standing watch over the female as she ate, and vice versa. Getting to meet our host and share some stories was a special treat.

Doug’s place was perfect! The place was very clean and great for what we were looking for. The location was perfect for either a nice walk or quick drive into the city. We would definitely rent again.

Very cute space. Wonderfully convenient to Midcoast areas. Carrie is very friendly, straightforward, and helpful. I look forward to staying again when I next visit.

This 2nd floor, large studio is a 9 minute straight drive on the main road into Bar Harbor for restaurants, shopping & groceries. It’s very close to one of the park entrances. Having our own parking spot was great & loved the sky lights for fresh cool air day & night. This is a spacious studio with everything you need relax before & after you head out to enjoy all the natural beauty the island & Acadia have to offer.

Matthew is the most responsive friendly host we have ever had out of an Airbnb host. He gave ample check in instructions and was very accommodating during our last minute booking. The place is so charming but we just loved the back patio that had lots of wildlife to watch. We saw birds, squirrels, bunnies, chipmunks, and a groundhog. I can’t recommend this place enough:)

Lovely cottage feel during my stay with the well appointed features, homely atmosphere and welcome treats! Great communications and help from the owners next door. Useful to have a few books in the evening and relax quietly. Really enjoyed my short break.

Really happy I stayed here! The neighborhood was peaceful and the studio was completely private and quiet.

Angela is a fabulous host and the suite was incredibly peaceful, quiet, and comfy. The design was efficient and effective. The farm fresh eggs from their chickens were a delightful and tasty bonus. One small but meaningful aspect that we thought folks should know about is the care that Angela put into crafting a helpful binder that offered some cool history of the area, along with her personal recommendations of things to see and do. This was a one-night stop on a longer journey, but now we want to return to explore… and stay here while we do that!

Dan is very friendly, great communication and eager to assist in what you might need. His place is cozy and easy to get to.

We enjoyed our stay here as it was close to many amenities. Nadine was proactive in all communications. Very clean, cozy, comfortable and up to date. Very quiet and we felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nadine for blessing us with your space for 4 days.

This is our third time staying at the Farmhouse by the Sea and we loved it just as much as the other times. The living area is perfectly appointed with clean & comfortable furniture, a large table for games and puzzles, and a full kitchen with everything you need. You feel cared for with the little touches such as water bottles, throw blankets, and all the temperature and lighting options one could ever need. Plenty of channels on the TV too. The area is beautiful!! We spent a lot of time at Kettle Cove and the Lobster Shack at Two Lights. Also recommend Mainely Noods for ramen in Portland and C Salt gourmet market in Cape Elizabeth. Thank you to Karen & family for another great vacation!

Great for what we needed! Robert was responsive and helpful when I had questions. He gave clear instructions. The entire process and stay was simple and hassle free.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Jennifer's place. Though I arrived at night, she was there to meet me and help me quickly settle in. Everything in the charming unit was as presented in the listing. I slept well. I also enjoyed a fine breakfast--twice-- at nearby coffee place on Main St. Checking out went smoothly. I'd certainly plan to stay again if I should revisit Damariscotta and its companion city Newcastle, ME.

We love the location!! So close to Acadia National Park. We also loved the old feel of the house and the furniture that complemented that feel! David and Carol were great hosts, very responsive!! One thing that I think would be great would be if there was cream (liquid or powder) for coffee.
