Good spot for a lot of people to stay and great proximity to the beach

Me and my pup stayed here for a quick peaceful weekend getaway and it was the best experience we could ever ask for! The place was super clean and just like described and the sunset at the private beach was so beautiful. Alyese was super friendly and helpful and was quick to respond if I ever had questions! I would 100% visit this cute place again with Bruno! 🥹

We loved staying at Michael's place. The setting is beautiful and private, and the cottage had exactly what we needed. Michael was a great host - responsive and willing to help.

Had a wonderful time staying at Dunetop Escape! The owners were very nice and responsive. Very knowledgeable about the area and made some awesome recommendations. The house was spotless and very accommodating. The house has a lot of usable space and even more sleeping areas! Loved that they made beach days so easy as they had everything you may ever need. Will absolutely be looking to book this location again and look forward to exploring more of Michigan City.

We came into town for a wedding and brought our 2 dogs and wanted to stay someplace safe and quiet and we definitely found that with Edgar’s home. The location was easy to find and it was nice to have private parking right along the lake. The access to the home was easy and the home nicely is decorated with every amenity you need to cook your own food. Views from the home are lovely and we went out onto the dock and spent time on the private beach a couple of the nights we were there. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of towels, which I appreciated. Location makes it easy to get into town for grocery shopping and there is a brewery in town that makes great smash burgers called Useless Creatures. We walked around the neighborhood a couple of times and we also found a great hiking spot to take the dogs very nearby. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

The return trip was even better than the first! We enjoyed the balcony, the woods across the street add to the relaxation. The uncrowded beach made the sunset even better

I rented this for my daughter bridal party and we had an aboslute blast. The accomodations were perfect, enough beds for everyone and a short drive to New Buffalo and outlet malls. The until was equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

Matt was the nicest guy ever! Super host at its finest, very informative and easy to get ahold of and ask questions! Great atmosphere in the home and I unfortunately didn’t get it in the summer time, but never the less, this place was fun and had soo much space to spend time with your loved ones! Highly recommend this stay, especially if you’re a local like me!

View of lake and within walking distance to the private beaches. The chalet was stocked well with towels, bathroom essentials and everything needed to cook.

Jason was an amazing host! We stayed for Memorial Day weekend with our kids and another family and their kids. We were able to fit snugly, but comfortably! The kids loved the bunk beds! There was so much to do within walking distance and having Lake Michigan right there was amazing! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place and our stay. The lake views were more beautiful than the photos could show, the chalet is comfortable and well-stocked, and there was so much to do in the community that we didn't even scratch the surface. We loved the beach area which wasn't crowded at all, even on Labor Day weekend. We drove in to St. Joseph for dinner and to go to ur favorite shops - super easy drive. The walk to the beach was so short we didn't even take a lunch out there, just popped up to the house whenever we needed a restroom break or a snack. We never needed to contact Ben but got plenty of communication beforehand and the manual in the house provided info of how to text him if we needed to. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

The "tiny home" fit our needs just fine. The screened porch, campfire and gas grill added a nice evening activities. The shared pool is lovely and we were always in it alone!

Our family loved this home and had a VERY special Thanksgiving weekend here. The house had everything and was even nicer than the GREAT pictures. Beautiful kitchen, lovely view of the water and very nice amenities. Our host, Rhoby, was a great communicator - sharing all relevant details ahead, so we had all we needed! it was a nice place. the only downfall was there was no wash rags to wash your body with. and no blinds throughout the house.

This property is literally right on the beach. Almost every window in the house looks out onto the lake with beautiful views. We loved our stay here.

The house was great: super clean, great beach access, and comfortable for two couples. My only tip: There are no window coverings on the bedroom windows, so depending on the time of year the sunlight may wake you earlier than you would like.

Everything was good just washing machine was not working and dish washer wasn’t operating good and there was enough toiletries

Can’t say enough good things about our entire experience at this Airbnb. We booked it however long ago (almost a year probably at this point) and from then on Jennifer was awesome about getting back to me on any questions or anything at all we needed. The Barron Lake house is a stunning waterfront retreat that truly wows! We've enjoyed all of our stays at David's house. It's always fresh and clean when we arrive. Our 2 beagles love the huge fenced backyard, which is a rarity among lakefront properties. The sunrise views of the lake from the deck are gorgeous! David is very responsive when we've had questions or concerns. We're hoping to get a chance to stay there again next year!

Rhonda went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome in their home and that we had everything we needed. They left the nicest handwritten note and gift for our arrival. Rhonda let us know all of the check in and out information the day before it was needed. We would definitely stay again. Hopefully when it’s warmer so we can enjoy all of the lake amenities they had to offer.
