Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Metropolitan city of Catania

We highly recommend staying at Francesco's country house. It's very spacious and the view from the newly built veranda is wonderful. Don't be startled when Francesco wanders around the place as he is still very active on the land around the house. Thank you Francesco!

Super communication with Paolo. Although we did not find the accommodation so quickly, Paolo picked us up personally and accompanied us to the accommodation. Super clean! Very quiet and great view of the sea and Mount Etna. We visited Catania and Syracuse and were happy to return to our quiet accommodation in the evening. Unfortunately, the time passed too quickly.

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

A perfect 2 night stay at Andrea’s place. The jacuzzi was a perfect addition as got quite chilly at night being up in the mountains. A very comfortable home and could have stayed a whole week! A perfect quiet stay in beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Katia’s and Ricardo’s. They were so welcoming and accommodating, just as many of the other reviews have said. We had thunder storms the first day, and as my son had a broken arm and couldn’t get his cast wet they kindly let us check in early which really helped us. The apartment itself is really clean, equipt with everything you need. The garden space is just beautiful, the views, the fruit trees, the pool and hot tub! We really appreciated that space and was great for the children. You do need a car to get around, but they have a gated drive so you could park safely. They is so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time in Taormina, it was our favourite place. We also went to mount etna which our kids loved. If you have any questions Katia is very helpful, and very quick to respond. I would highly recommend for families or couples

We had an unforgettable stay at Le Vigne! The location is absolutely perfect – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and with breathtaking views of Etna and the valley. The house itself is clean and spacious, offering everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved watching the sunset from the terrace – truly magical. Sebastiano is a fantastic host – friendly, responsive, and always available if needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Etna region in comfort and tranquility!

an atypical and authentic accommodation, which makes it charming, with a breathtaking view on 4 sides, 2 terraces to enjoy at different times of the day. the view of Etna depends on the weather as the heat haze blurs the view. Well located for both visits and shopping and restaurants. A little noisy some nights. We had a great time, to be recommended.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The apartment is very big and spacious. Great layout of the rooms. The balconies are a dream. Great host. The place is easy to reach and perfect starting point for great excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back.

We stayed with our son at Rosario and Mariela's house for 8 days. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Even before our arrival, Rosario accompanied us, gave us detailed information and helped and advised on every issue. Rosario was always available and helped with joy and goodwill. He always asked if we were missing anything. When we arrived, the best of Sicilian produce awaited us, including pastries, yogurt and milk, a six-pack of water and other products. Rosario allowed us to arrive early and leave later, according to our flight times. In addition, at the end he drove our son to the train station. In conclusion, when we come to Sicily again, we will be happy to return and will also recommend them to friends and acquaintances. Great location – very convenient if you’re arriving at Catania airport. The hosts can even pick you up from the airport, which makes everything easy and stress-free.

The place was great. I was there with my husband and daughter, and we had a lot of place. Everything was clean, there was enough towels and everything else that you might need in the kitchen and bathroom.

A very spacious complex with large swimming pool and good facilities. We were with 2 families incl. 4 children (9-15 years) there. We had everything we needed to stay there all day. Well-known excursion destinations (Etna, Syracuse, Catania, Taorminar) can be reached about 1 hour.

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

It was very nice place

My son and I spent a different day, immersed in nature. The chalet is well cared for, nothing is missing, you feel at home where you find everything you need, oven, coffee machine, a simple funnel... Or anything else. Outside there is the swimming pool with deck chairs where we relaxed, and the swing and the slide where my son had fun playing... then my son together with the son of the owners went to visit their small farm, where there are chickens, geese, turkeys. Pure fun, we will come back again, given to families with children... SUPER RECOMMENDED RATING 10

Beautiful location in the middle of nature between the vineyards and olive trees. Delightful place to unwind, BBQ outside, and visit surrounding area incl Etna. The only disadvantage is the narrow road to it. We succeeded with a Skodia Fabia (relatively wide), but it is intended for the good driver. Otherwise, parking at the end of the path is possible. As far as we are concerned, it is more than worth it and highly recommended!!

Beautifulll quiet area and very private. Surrounded by fruitteelt, the awesome pool, very well working airconditioning, Noemi's father taking care of the pool and the cats and so on. You can't get better value for your money! Someone wrote there was no airco in the bedroom and no curtains in a review. That's not True! Everything was there and more! You won't regret renting this house.

Nice, warm welcome from Fabrizio. The oven was already on (it was winter). There were homemade cakes, wine and small treats. Fabrizio was very nice and explained everything to us. The place was very cozy. We thought the apartment goes over two floors. But only booked the bottom floor. There are two apartments. One at the top, one at the bottom. The view of Mount Etna was breathtaking and also the view of the sea. Good starting point for hiking. Fabrizio was always reachable. We also shopped in his shop and were well advised. Overall a very nice stay!

We had a wonderful time in Lella's nice cottage and her beautiful garden! It is wonderfully quiet there, there is enough sun but also shade and through the back gate you are directly above the sea, where you can walk up and down nicely. The property is perfect if you just want to relax and not plan many excursions. We took garbage bags after the first walk, because unfortunately there are some corners where there is quite a lot of plastic waste in the countryside that ultimately ends up in the sea. We find it is our responsibility to keep our earth clean and to make a small contribution as tourists who are burdening the Sicilian infrastructure. If everyone helps a little, it can have a big effect and it feels good to do something meaningful and is done on the side - walking :) Thanks to all those who join and take care of the health of our planet!
