Apartment holiday rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

We loved out stay in Catania. The location was perfect for walking around the city. We liked the nearby bars and it was actually pretty quiet seeing as there is a bar on the same street (that was one of our favourites!) The bed was comfortable and it was great to have the smaller bed for our 4 year old. The best thing was definitely the balcony and roof terrace. It felt so good coming back to relax on the roof terrace and watch the sunset after a long day walking around a hot city!

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Great location and great host!

First, the check in was smooth, easy to find. The place very clean! The apartment has everything you need, snacks, local bevereges, coffe and even an umbrella. The location is perfect. Close tot the Main Street bun quiet in the night. Everything is walking distance. The host was very helpful and recommended great restaurants and things to do. I defenetly recommend this place! Great vacation experience with my family.

Antonio's accommodation was beautiful, spacious, well equiped and super clean. Antonio was responsive and friendly. We were satisfied with our stay. The only negative thing was the neighbourhood: the accommodation borders an unsafe district. Our part of the street was well lit and clean, but just 20-30 meters down the street we could see sketchy people and surroundings, and avoided these parts by always taking the main roads. Later we read about criminal activities happening there, but it is obviously just our fault not researching the area in advance. However, nothing unpleasent happened to us, but we were being careful.

We were at Maria Francesca's accommodation in June 2025. We had a wonderful time in Sicily and the apartment was beautiful. The entire complex perfectly reflected the flair of the island and you immediately felt at home there! Vittorio, Maria Francesca and Maria Assunta were able to help us immediately with any questions or minor challenges that arose. The apartment itself is in great condition. Everything you need can be found there, and if something is needed, it will be made available to you immediately. In summary, we can say that we couldn't have been happier with our stay at Villa Lionti. We can therefore recommend it without reservation and wish everyone there an equally great stay! Everything about this place was outstanding, but the absolute best was the hostess. She was so accommodating, checked in with us helped us book drivers and arrangements and went above and beyond. The apartment is beautiful. So well appointed and everything felt new and fresh and the location was central to everything. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Catania!!! I highly recommend that you stay here!!!

Graziano was great to deal with from booking to check out. The apartment is in a perfect location, with cool restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. The apartment is extremely clean with contemporary decor that was very much to my liking. Just one thing to note is that the apartment is at the top of the building without a lift which was fine for us but may not suit less abled people. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Valentina’s apartment is lovely. Presented as the photos show, clean, in a central location within walking distance of most attractions. Heaps of great restaurants and bars nearby. 5 minutes walk to the fish market area. Quiet at night, easy to sleep and aircon worked well. We would happily stay there again.

Great spot for visiting Catania city center. You couldn't ask for a better spot. Parking isn't easy but after all it's like any city. I would definitely return to Cinzia's flat when I'll be in Catania next

The apartment is really nice, modern, spacious. It is equipped with everything what you need for a short stay. The bed is incredibly comfortable and there are different pillows to choose from : softer or harder; which clearly shows how attentive Giacomo and Bianca are. The fridge was also packed with 6 bottles of water. We really felt that we were taken care of. The location of the apartment is close to downtown, we went everywhere by walking. For my taste it was a bit noisy, but Catania was pretty noisy everywhere😊. If we go back to Catania, surely we will choose Bianca and Giacomo’s home again.

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

Clean and ideally located 1.5 km from the strategic center of Catania, Martina is very responsive. Nice apartment with small inner courtyard and hot tub. I recommend it.

In the heart of the old part of the city fabulous location and lovely place Silvana was very helpful. Parking a challenge but that's what you get to be in the centre and there are places you can pre book.

I had a wonderful stay at Grazia’s Apartment. She even provided me with breakfast and some drinks. The place is very spacious and quiet, the bed was very comfortable. It is conveniently located at the base of Mt Ätna for those who want to explore it.
