Holiday rentals with beach access in Metropolitan city of Catania

Very nice apartment, beautiful view of Etna. But it's 25 minutes from the beach, or 30 minutes on foot, few restaurants around. Transportation is totally unstable, so it's complicated to get to the city center except by walking (35 min walk minimum)

A very convenient place, as a base for sightseeing. We had a car that could be parked easily. Beautiful views. 🤩 The apartment had everything you could need, plus a lot of space. Both the living room and the bedroom and kitchen could go out onto the balcony. On one side, there was a beautiful view of the majestic Etna, and on the other, the sea. And the roof terrace 👌🏻🤩 You could really feel the Italian atmosphere 😉 Very responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend the place 😉

I had a wonderful holiday at Salvatore’s place – the location is truly beautiful, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The scenery is stunning, and the surrounding area offers a delightful experience with lovely restaurants and local services. The atmosphere is warm, and the welcome was genuinely heartfelt; I felt at home right away. Salvatore is a thoughtful and kind host who does his best to ensure guests feel comfortable. I also received help with some practical arrangements that we had agreed on in advance. I’ll carry fond memories of the unique charm and warmth of this place. Alessandra and Simona were both very helpful. Nobody we asked in the market knew where the street was but we finally found it through Google Maps. Letting future guests know it's above Euronics would also be a big help. We had everything around us; all within five minutes' walking time. Perfect location and highly recommended. Many thanks to our very obliging host!!

We were very pleased with Damiano’s place. The flat is located right at the seafront. The street above the building was a bit noisy during the night but with windows closed we were able to sleep. We enjoyed the balcony to relax from daily trips. We even cooked one evening in the well equipped kitchen. Damiano was very responsive when we had a question. We highly recommend this place.

Lovely flat overlooking the sea with plenty of parking. It’s up 4 flights of stairs with no lift but this wasn’t a problem for us. Lorenzo was great and very communicative.

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

Beautiful apartment with amazing view of the ocean and Mount Etna (my favorite view at sunset). Very spacious for my family of 4, and has everything that we need. The location is perfect for us to make easy day trips to Catania, Mount Etna and Taormina. Thank you Maria for helping us check in and showing us around the apartment. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking to set up a homebase for exploring the east coast of Sicily!

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, in case of problems, when transferring our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, but it felt almost directly by the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

We had a wonderful vacation. The apartment is really great and has a unique view of the Mediterranean. Wenche is a super nice hostess who takes care of everything.

Super communication with Paolo. Although we did not find the accommodation so quickly, Paolo picked us up personally and accompanied us to the accommodation. Super clean! Very quiet and great view of the sea and Mount Etna. We visited Catania and Syracuse and were happy to return to our quiet accommodation in the evening. Unfortunately, the time passed too quickly.

Alfio is rightly a Superhost. Has ubs water bottles in the fridge. Everything you need was available in the kitchen (incl. olive oil, napkins, etc.). The apartment is first class for 2 couples, as there are two separate staircases, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is strikingly lovely, with a maritime decor. Breakfast on the terrace is a dream. Thank you again for everything. 😃

My group of 6 had a wonderful stay! Antonino was a wonderful host, setting us up with early check in as we arrived from the airport, and was responsive to any questions we had about the house. The location is incredible (the photos don't do it justice-waking up to the volcano and/or the ocean waves, balconies off of every bedroom, steps from the sea, really gorgeous!) The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, cooking in, etc, and the neighborhood has great local spots for drinks, dinner, and small grocery shops. Two of the bedrooms have detachable twin sets that you can use together or separate, but I'd recommend reaching out in advance based on your group if you need them separated. We traveled to/from the train in Riposto for day trips which is very walkable along the coastline. If you're looking for a less touristy, more authentic neighborhood to stay in, this is definitely the spot.

Giuseppe is a wonderful host - very helpful, kind and considerate. We felt at home with him. The property is wonderful! Very close to the sea, with a wonderful bay and almost no tourists. If you want to relax from the hustle and bustle, Giuseppe's house is perfect! You will find everything you need for your vacation: a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with a comfortable bed and a private garden with sun loungers, table and chairs, barbecue area and outdoor shower. It is a great starting point for exploring Catania, Taormina or Syracuse. In the area there are many grocery stores, a pharmacy and a hospital, but to enjoy all the services you will need a car, which you can rent at the airport or in Augusta. The apartment is very nice and comfortable. Annalissa a great host, very proactive and responsive. The complex where the flat is located has ample parking space, which is good as you will need a car to navigate the area. We had a great stay.

A spacious, modern apartment with excellent design features. I love the high double ceiling! It's conveniently located near the central station and within walking distance of Main Street, making navigation easy. Situated on the top floor, the stairs are wide and manageable even with luggage. The host is helpful and responsive.

Emanuela is a great host! The apartment is a gem in a beautiful village. The early morning sunrise from the balcony facing the sea is stunning! I feel at home the moment we stepped in to the apartment. Highly recommended!

Eduardo’s place was located on a quiet street close to bars, restaurants, and the square. Easy to get to public transit. The space was just as described, and clean upon arrival. Eduardo was a great host that made sure if we had any questions they were answered.

Well-located accommodation, close to Catania, Etna, and 1 hour from Taormina. A little out of the tourist center, but several restaurants nearby in Aci Trezza. Excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants by our hosts. Very nice welcome by Julia, many recommendations and detailed information. Accommodation a little cramped if you imagine staying at 4, but ideal for 2 people! Perfect equipment, with beach essentials, umbrellas if needed, etc.

Very beautiful house . And the location was spot on. You drink coffee hearing the peaceful sound of the sea.

Marco was a fantastic host. He confidently guided us through the rather tricky entrance with all the help (the apartment is located in a very winding, incidentally not barrier-free complex, which in turn is in a kind of "gadet community" with many other holiday resorts and holiday homes, which can only be passed through a barrier and gates. We were incredibly lucky and were almost the only guests in the complex. So we had the great and very clean pool almost to ourselves. In general, everything was very quiet and peaceful and we were almost alone. The view from Marcos' terrace is a dream. Very, very fantastic view of the sea and Mount Etna. Depending on the time of day, some sun, some shade. Simply outstanding. The complex/apartment from the 60s has a great charm, even if it's a bit outdated;) Unfortunately, we searched in vain for access to the sea. Many paths were blocked or overgrown. Thank you, Marco!🫶
