Holiday rentals with a balcony in Metropolitan city of Catania

The apartment is lovely, it was such an amazing opportunity to not feel like a tourist, like a real Sicilian. Plenty of places to eat and beautiful sights very close. The only down side is parking. There is never parking in the piazza, so don’t get your hopes up. But there is a nice parking lot a few blocks away and a good deal to not to stress about finding free parking spaces. Acireale is a gem of Sicily for sure!

Staying there was wonderful. We were only a couple, but there were enough rooms for two couples easily. For us, everything was perfect—the view into the theatre (which actually had 3 performances while we were there), the closeness to the walkable city center, and the personal interaction with the gracious, attentive hosts, who live in the same building. There are flights of stairs to the place, and a few interior steps to one of the bedrooms—this was nothing for us, but would not be right for some people. The place is large, well decorated, with amazing lighting, and views. One of the most special places we have been in, and we have traveled a lot.

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

Beautiful apartment with amazing view of the ocean and Mount Etna (my favorite view at sunset). Very spacious for my family of 4, and has everything that we need. The location is perfect for us to make easy day trips to Catania, Mount Etna and Taormina. Thank you Maria for helping us check in and showing us around the apartment. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking to set up a homebase for exploring the east coast of Sicily!

Ottima l'esperienza con Lorenzo e mamma Concita. Appartamento molto spazioso e con tutto ciò che serve. Posizione ottima, centrale ma non troppo. Molto disponibili ad aiutarti e anche per poter lasciare le valigie due ore oltre al check out

Le logement était fidèle à la description. La literie est de très bonne qualité dans les trois chambres. L'espace à vivre est idéal pour 6 personnes voir plus, le jardin est encore plus grand que sur les photos et très bien aménagé. La gare de Mascali se situe à moins de cinq minutes en voiture et vous permet de vous déplacer facilement pour toutes vos visites. En un mot nous nous sommes régalés durant notre séjour et recommandons vivement ce logement. Véronica est une hôte très réactive et communique en anglais si votre Italien n'est pas au top.

Gianfranco und seine Familie haben uns sehr nett in ihrem Ferienhaus willkommen geheißen. Sie waren rund um die Uhr für Fragen und Hilfe zur Stelle und haben das Haus sehr weihnachtlich dekoriert. Das Haus hat einen schönen Außenbereich und eine schöne Dachterrasse, welche wir auf Grund des Wetters leider nicht ausgiebig nutzen konnten. Das Airbnb ist 5 Auto-Minuten vom kleinen Dörfchen Mascali unweit vom Etna entfernt und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, um die Atmosphäre nochmal im Sommer zu genießen.

Perfect for min 2 or max 3 couples. Big flat with big balcony , garden area , perfect view to ETNA. Very quiet area , 30 minutes from Catania and 30 minutes from Siracusa , 50 minutes form Noto etc. Clean appartment and the owners were next to us when we need them. You need car but the spot is perfect for all SouthEast Sicily. The area is clean (if you compare it with the city centers) , ....you must avoid all the dirty center areas of the Big Citys. Near the house (500m) the Brucoli village , next to the sea small restaurants if you want to calm. If you have 3-4 days just spend them near there. City of Noto is the must !! Avoid visiting Palermo. Ask the owners Nunzo & Carmen can help you. Food in Italy is a must , we eat well in Augusta , Noto....also the wines of the area were OK. I will return soon or later , and I will visit again the same house!!!
