Apartment holiday rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was clean and spacious and looked exactly like the photos. So thoughtfully decorated and finished. Do not be put off by the street entrance - once you open the door at the top of the stairs, so much beauty awaits. There are lovely restaurants very close by, and there is easy access to all the sights. Salvo was an exceptional host - responded quickly to messages and checked up on us frequently. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Lisa’s place in Catania was fantastic. It’s quite modern, with a touch of history in the exposed brick work. It’s in a very convenient location to explore the city by foot, though it’s fair walk to the beach or main station. There are a huge amount of restaurants and bars around, most of which have excellent food.

We were at Maria Francesca's accommodation in June 2025. We had a wonderful time in Sicily and the apartment was beautiful. The entire complex perfectly reflected the flair of the island and you immediately felt at home there! Vittorio, Maria Francesca and Maria Assunta were able to help us immediately with any questions or minor challenges that arose. The apartment itself is in great condition. Everything you need can be found there, and if something is needed, it will be made available to you immediately. In summary, we can say that we couldn't have been happier with our stay at Villa Lionti. We can therefore recommend it without reservation and wish everyone there an equally great stay! Amazing stay and host! We were sent clear self check in instructions (photos and a step by step guide which was extremely helpful). The location is very central with in walking distance to the main square, bars,shops and restaurants. Also a very short bus ride to the beach and with in walking distance to the train station. The host was very attentive and replied super quick to any queries we had. The apartment was spotless and the terrace was beautiful-would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Catania!

Everything about this place was outstanding, but the absolute best was the hostess. She was so accommodating, checked in with us helped us book drivers and arrangements and went above and beyond. The apartment is beautiful. So well appointed and everything felt new and fresh and the location was central to everything. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Catania!!! I highly recommend that you stay here!!!

We loved out stay in Catania. The location was perfect for walking around the city. We liked the nearby bars and it was actually pretty quiet seeing as there is a bar on the same street (that was one of our favourites!) The bed was comfortable and it was great to have the smaller bed for our 4 year old. The best thing was definitely the balcony and roof terrace. It felt so good coming back to relax on the roof terrace and watch the sunset after a long day walking around a hot city!

Graziano was great to deal with from booking to check out. The apartment is in a perfect location, with cool restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. The apartment is extremely clean with contemporary decor that was very much to my liking. Just one thing to note is that the apartment is at the top of the building without a lift which was fine for us but may not suit less abled people. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Vincenzo’s apartment was gorgeous and so well situated! We were easily within walking distance to everything we wanted to see without it being too noisy. The flat was clean and had everything you need Vincenzo himself was extremely welcoming and helpful giving us a personal check in and check out (and even came to let us in within 20 minutes when we stupidly locked ourselves out!)

Valentina’s apartment is lovely. Presented as the photos show, clean, in a central location within walking distance of most attractions. Heaps of great restaurants and bars nearby. 5 minutes walk to the fish market area. Quiet at night, easy to sleep and aircon worked well. We would happily stay there again.

Excellent host, we gave useful details of tourist places, restaurants, etc. The accommodation is as described, comfortable, spacious, clean, tidy and can be reached by walking to places of interest and means of transport

Great spot for visiting Catania city center. You couldn't ask for a better spot. Parking isn't easy but after all it's like any city. I would definitely return to Cinzia's flat when I'll be in Catania next

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

Clean and ideally located 1.5 km from the strategic center of Catania, Martina is very responsive. Nice apartment with small inner courtyard and hot tub. I recommend it.

In the heart of the old part of the city fabulous location and lovely place Silvana was very helpful. Parking a challenge but that's what you get to be in the centre and there are places you can pre book.

I had a wonderful stay at Grazia’s Apartment. She even provided me with breakfast and some drinks. The place is very spacious and quiet, the bed was very comfortable. It is conveniently located at the base of Mt Ätna for those who want to explore it.
