This is the second time we’ve stayed at Winding River Cottages and we absolutely love it. Located just outside of town, it is a private space on the water that is teeming with wildlife and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It’s perfect for fishing, relaxing by the campfire and exploring surroundings from the kayak. It is clear that the owners take pride in their cottages, as they have made significant updates since we last stayed - new pergolas, charming outdoor lighting and a beach! We hope this space is available the next time we return!

Alicia's place was lovely! It was super clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Alicia was a responsive and friendly host. We would definitely stay here again.

Barb and Bob were excellent hosts super friendly. Several brochures as to what to do locally and personal insight. The view was awesome of the Menomonee River and kayaks to use. The house was perfectly clean and stocked to the Hilt, even candy and any kitchen gadget you can imagine. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing and plenty of salts to soak. We really enjoyed our stay hiking, biking, and golfing. We biked from the house and ran with deer in the corn fields surrounding. Golfing was beautiful and a reasonable price. Saw many falls near here. Thanks Barb and Bob for a great month long vacay. Also, enjoyed watching the chipmunks in the yard and black squirrels.
