Monthly Rentals in Mappleton

Our stay was lovely, as a mum with a 6 month old and my mum friend with a 4 month old we were very nervous to stay anywhere but home however we felt so safe, so secure and like we were right at home! Great amount of space, so clean and tidy - just perfect!

Really lovely place with everything we needed for a couple of days. I wouldn’t want to stay for a full week simply because there is no oven or hob but for two nights we coped just fine with a microwave, kettle and toaster (and the prize winning fish and chip shop only half a mile away!) The garden is such a bonus and totally private. Cabin is cosy, clean and comfortable. Hosts are nearby if needed but leave you alone otherwise. I don’t think we laid eyes on them once during our stay - which only goes to show how smooth and easy everything was, just as it should be.

Our stay couldn't have been any better, great location and only a short walk to the beautiful beach! Lovely quiet area. Fantastic communication from Julie. We had everything we needed and a lot more, lots of lovely thoughtful touches throughout the house. Brilliant shower and high quality bedding and towels etc. Really comfy beds/setee. Lovely enclosed garden which the dog loved! The whole place was spotless, would highly recommend and we would love to visit again!

This is lovely quiet place just outside of Hornsea which is in walking distance. It overlooks the beach and you get a feeling of tranquility away from all the everyday noise and hustle and bustle. It’s easy to access with Jayne’s instructions and there’s a folder with house rules and directions to local places. There’s plenty of eateries in Hornsea and a beach to take a stoll on weather permitting. Whitby and York are not to far away if you want to spend a day there also. The house itself is compact with all the comforts of home and a good sized kitchen so you can cook an evening meal or head in to Hornsea for a meal and drinks. The lounge is a good size with views over the sea and the bed room is a good size with plenty of storage. All in all we had a great restful time and Jayne is a great hoast who is there if needed but happy just to let you do your own things.
