Beachfront holiday rentals in Manchester-by-the-Sea

I can’t thank you enough for letting me stay in this beautiful location. I’ve been going through chemo treatment and trying to find beautiful places in between treatment to enjoy. This place was a fav. Which I sort of want to keep to myself. I didn’t have a lot of energy to do a lot but it was exactly what I needed. Parked my car and left it behind. Watched the tide, walked around a beautiful place with my dog. I couldn’t ask for more.

Darryl’s house was extremely enjoyable. It had everything we needed, and we had a very relaxing time at the lake. It felt private, amazing views, and was very comfortable.

A beautiful cottage. Our dogs loved the beach and we loved hearing the ocean at night. Best of all, we saw North Atlantic Right Whales at Long Point. In a world where it can be difficult to sleep well - I slept like a baby!

Beautiful apartment in the Neck - probably the pettiest place I’ve been to in all of Boston. Highly recommended!

The house was clean and well maintained. The view was gorgeous, too bad Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. It was cold and rainy. Used the fire pit nightly and it was nice. Linens were clean, towels were soft and fluffy and smelled freshly laundered. Kitchen was spotless and well stocked with pot/pans and dishes. Having a dishwasher was nice too. Two grocery stores (Hannaford and Market Basket) were close by and plenty of restaurants too. We came with the intention of doing nothing and just changing scenery for the weekend. This place was perfect.

We had the best time in Arlington this past week! We came for the Boston marathon. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. It was close to Boston but far enough out for the peace and quiet. Doug and Hope were the most exceptional hosts. They were accommodating and very responsive. They went above and beyond to make our stay and everything we needed as easy as possible. They were so great and we hope to come back in the future!!

Great location and big home. Good for two families (one per floor). Nice kitchen, dining and living area. Comfortable beds. Some items need a little love to finish them up, but that is to be expected in an older home. Great value for the price.

Josh’s place is where you want to be in Lynn! A beautiful, old, and charming home located in the historic district of Lynn. Beautiful space he has for the guests with a private upstairs area, bathroom, and den. Josh is very helpful and accommodating to ANYTHING we needed. He let us do laundry, took us to the train station, and even let us keep our car parked in his driveway past our check out time. He is full of stories, charisma, and laughs. His two dogs are a plus :) Would come again and great price for the place!! -The two beautiful ladies from Ohio (Paige and Lana)

We had a wonderful vacation in NH especially due to the beautiful condo we stayed in. Every morning we took a short walk to the beach at sunrise. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the pool as well. It was a short drive to most places of interest, shops and restaurants. Our host Sue was very responsive via text. The place was clean and full of many things to help make our stay special. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Rob was a great host ! He responded within a timely manner and the place was very clean and felt just like home. I would suggest bringing board games and such for the rainy days. For the folks who enjoy cooking the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. I would also recommend renting bikes or taking an Uber if you don't like walking. The walk to town was about 25 minutes. Overall great stay would love you stay her again it gives you the peace and quiet while also being close enough to everything and a beautiful view of the ocean.

Zachary was very responsive and attentive to our needs which were very minimal. Very clean and well presented. Great location out of the midstream of chaos of the strip but close enough to get there. Walk to the beach short and can get a glimpse of the water from the room but would be better a floor or two up. Well furnished with all cooking supplies. Ice maker included which was a plus. Enjoyed our time. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We love the location since it affords us quick access to the beach as well as other areas we have stayed over the years. Brianna is a super host and communicates well with us throughout the whole experience. We certainly will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tara's place. It was clean and nice location to the beach. She was also very accommodating with an early check in time in order for us to get ready for a wedding.

We had a wonderful stay at Garrett’s place. The apartment location can’t be beat, right on the water and walking distance to town but also nice and peaceful. Our family enjoyed the balcony and the comfy living room and kitchen. Would recommend!

Oh my goodness. This place was a DREAM. Such a beautiful home with a view you can’t top. My husband and I stayed with our children and two friends for an east coast summer getaway and we could not have found a better place. Awesome setup, view, and Gaby could not have been more helpful. We would love to stay here again.

This was a sweet spot to land for a night. Thoughtful touches, comfortable layout, and perfect access to the waterfront. The water pressure in the shower is amazing, too! We enjoyed our brief stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Robert is an extremely gracious host, and it’s clear that he goes out of his way to make his guests’ stay a comfortable one. Everything was spotless and in great condition. There’s lots of natural light and he had just installed blackout curtains so the sun wouldn’t wake us too early. There’s a pretty little garden area that would have been a nice spot for morning coffee if the weather had cooperated. The bed was brand new with a comfy memory foam mattress. Marblehead is a sweet little town, very walkable with interesting sights, beautiful views of the water, and great cafes and restaurants. Salem is a few minutes down the road for a fun day trip. We had a wonderful weekend away and highly recommend Robert’s place to anyone considering a trip to this area.

The rent was not inexpensive but the place was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The location was perfect, near everything and very walkable. Amy was amazingly responsive. We requested smaller pillows. Within the hour she had brand new pillows for our family. She responded within minutes to each inquiry. We requested to check out an hour later. She was very gracious and accommodated us. Excellent host. Highly recommend the place and the host. Charming place, great location.

This was the perfect place for our family of four. The unit is super comfortable and well furnished, the kitchen is nicely stocked, and the location really cannot be beat. It’s just a block or two from shops, restaurants, and lovely water views, including Bearskin Neck. The Headlands and Front Beach are within easy walking distance. Lauren was a very responsive host. We’ve had many good Airbnb experiences, and this was one of the very best.

Nice place, well appointed. Convenient to Downtown Gloucester.

This cottage was perfect for us to stay in during a holiday family visit. We were there during a brutal cold snap and the cottage was delightfully cozy throughout and everything worked perfectly despite the single-digit temps outside. The owners even came by and salted the icy steps for us. For people who are new to Marblehead, the cottage is in a great location and easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants in old town. Great stay.
