Holiday rentals with a patio in Maine

The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is close to downtown and to the university. The owners were very responsive. I look forward to coming back here in the future

This is one of our best Airbnb. The place is huge and very comfortable, it is very well situated being close to downtown. It was nice to come back to this place after our busy day and rest, watch TV (casting to the TV), and eat lobsters we got from the fish market. Susan, the host, was also very nice and helpful! 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay here - spacious for our group of 5 + dog. Easy drive to the old port and also great walkable area! Everything was as described / clean / comfy / great communication - would absolutely recommend for your group trip to Portland!

Very cozy little apartment. Perfect for a couple or maybe small family. The outdoor patio is a lovely touch! Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. Alex was a great host!

Lovely, tastefully decorated, place tucked in the beautiful area of Wells! We could tell from the moment we walked in that there was a thorough clean of the apartment prior to our arrival. Additionally, the attention to detail was amazing, from pamphlets about the area to beach towels to borrow in the bathroom. Though we weren’t in the area for the beach, we found it conveniently located to Ogunquit (specifically for the Ogunquit Playhouse, which was the reason for our little weekend trip). We’d happily choose this AirBnB again for any future visits :)

Sugar Maple is a beautiful slice of solitude. We spent a long weekend kayaking, and enjoying the peaceful yard with campfires and games. The home was very comfortable with all the basic amenities you could need. There’s onsite laundry, kitchen cookware/utensils, a high chair, board games/cards, kayaks/life vests, and a grill. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect location. Newport doesn’t offer many dining options, so we spent most nights cooking in the spacious kitchen. Each room has its own mini split, allowing each guest their own level of comfort. We did a day trip to Acadia and Camden, and spent time in Belfast and Bangor. So many nice areas within one hour from the house. Would definitely stay here again! You won’t be disappointed.

Abigail’s place is perfect. Cozy, serene, and beautiful. You feel immediately at home when you walk in, the view from the windows is incredible. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch, looking out at the water, and watching for wildlife. The rooms were pristine and the pillows were beyond comfy. The addition across the kitchen was the ultimate place to lounge and relax - kid friendly too with day beds. We had a great experience and I can’t recommend this place enough. Our host left a couple of personalized touches which made the trip feel that much more special. Thank you Abigail for a great experience!

We had an incredible stay at the Blue Hill Bay house! Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting, the home feels wonderfully secluded, yet inviting. The expansive windows, especially from the top floor loft, make you feel like you’re living in a treehouse. We loved spending evenings around the fire pit, which is surrounded by thoughtfully curated plants, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The grill was easy to use, making outdoor meals a breeze. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. We also appreciated how thoughtfully designed the space was, especially since it's hard to find a cute place that also warmly welcomes dogs. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate, this place is a gem! We can’t wait to return.

Amazing place, host was super kind and accommodated my family’s last minute booking since we were cancelled on twice that week! We are super happy we found this adorable beautiful place that ended up being better than the other places would have been anyway!

One of the best Airbnb experiences! The location and surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and the house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had the chance to fish and kayak, which were the highlights - so peaceful and scenic. This was a truly unforgettable experience. We caught a couple of bass and pike, which was so much fun. The host was also very responsive and kind. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place.

Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

Adding to the many reviews that say how incredible this place is: an easy commute to Saddleback for those looking to ski (as well as into town and to the lakes, too). Brand new, beautiful place with a fully stocked kitchen that worked well for our three small families to spend a weekend together. Really appreciated the extra touches for children, including the dishes. While the weather was cold and rainy, we were able to all be comfortable and cozy by the fire inside. Thanks to Kyle for the opportunity to stay!

Beautiful and peaceful location! While off MDI, it was still very easy to access Acadia National Park and was a convenient location overall. Wonderful views out the windows, sliders, decks, etc. The area by the water was lovely as well. As we were staying with our baby, it was so helpful to have some provided baby items—a pack and play, high chair, and a baby gate (though we didn’t us the latter)—in addition to typical items (bed linens, towels, a wide variety of kitchen essentials, etc.) Robard was an excellent host, providing lots of information before the stay and responding promptly during our stay. We couldn’t get a window to lock (user error on our part) and Robard quickly came to check it out. He arrived just as we figured it out, but was very kind about the inconvenience, and chatted with us about the area and clamming by the water.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tara's place. It was clean and nice location to the beach. She was also very accommodating with an early check in time in order for us to get ready for a wedding.

You cannot beat the location with this rental. We love coming to Willard Beach with our pup, and when our old go-to BNB stopped renting we were so worried we wouldn’t find another. But this condo worked out so perfectly in terms of location (across the road from both Scratch Bakery and Willard Scoops, comfortable walk to the beach with several entrance options) and the actual comfort of the condo itself. The proximity to the beach was really a plus for us, as we didn’t have to get up as early to make the dog friendly beach hours! Host is responsive, and any household items (eg. soap, coffee filters) that were missing from the condo we could easily run down to get from Hannaford. The downsides: It is on a second floor walk up, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Hand railing is odd too. Bit pricey, couldn’t swing a full week this time around as the price shot up dramatically when I added Friday to the duration. But overall, really lovely!

Excellent location with great restaurants & shops within walking distance, ample street parking, accommodating and friendly hosts, and a clean, bright space stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend in Portland!

First time coming down to maine. Right in the center of everything. 10-20 minute drives (not bad). We ate at Pine Point Grille the first night and it was amazing. Second, we tried Dunstan’s Tap and Table. Had to wait 30 minutes, but was worth it. Great area, felt very homey. I would come back.

We had a wonderful, extended stay at David’s! The unit was well designed and appointed, spotless and stylish. And the location was just fantastic. We walked to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way path just about daily, and it’s close to town as well. So many pretty towns, yummy restaurants and nature preserves nearby, you will love this area!

This space was very cute and perfect for my friend and I to stay for the weekend. Very clean and cute decor. The only thing I would say is the window ac does not cool the entire space as much as needed in the hot summer months. Other than this very very small detail the stay was wonderful and Trish was so accommodating and helpful. I would 100% stay here again!!

Patrick's place was a great stay for my friends and I. We stayed at southwest harbor and went for hiking in Acadia national park. It is close enough to visit the park as well as bar harbor. The place was very comfortable and clean and we had a good time, drinking coffee in the balcony overlooking the water and cooked dinner another night we decided to stay in. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and organized and the house was very spacious. Patrick was great at responding to messages and providing instructions. One thing that I would point out is that there is some noise from the road that you can hear in the rooms and some noise from people upstairs walking heavily. However, the hosts had kindly provided earplugs and if you are a heavy sleeper that noise will not be very bothersome. Overall, it was a great stay and I would choose to stay there again. The town of southwest harbor is also super close with cute little restaurants and bakeries, so everything you need is close by.
