Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lowestoft

I stayed here for 2 nights with my elderly Mum, which we both really enjoyed - the house could comfortably hold up to 5 guests. A great combination of modern comforts and original features, with everything you could need for your stay. We used it as a base to visit Southwold & Dunwich (about 25 mins away), taking in Aldeburgh en route. The garden was a lovely, peaceful spot to relax in in the early evening sun when we returned. Beccles is also a nice small town with a picturesque river. We didn’t go out in the evenings, but there were a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Christine was very communicative and responsive, even checking what type of milk and bread we would prefer and checking in with us after a huge storm - a great host. Thank you!

Welcoming light & airy place with tasteful décor, comfy bedding and very comfortable living room. Kitchen though small is incredibly well stocked, both with food (including pantry items and fresh treats provided in fridge) and tools for those that like cooking: we made the most of them! A real cooks' kitchen. Bathroom also has a you-don't-need-to-bring-it completeness. Enchanting garden with outdoor seating, & handsome hens(with delicious free eggs!) for added interest. Nice country walks, and Rebecca & Richard are delightfully friendly, generous, knowledgeable and helpful. A special nook of England!

Lovely cottage which immediately felt like home. Wonderful views across fields, and of the big Suffolk skies. Very peaceful, and well equipped for families. Dave kindly installed stair gate and set up a high chair for us. House itself has got a lovely feel, nicely thought out design, all rooms are nice and light and the living room very cosy at night. Perfect stay for us and we’ll definitely be returning!

Great location on a well kept site within easy reach of a marina and several other amenities and attractions. The bungalow is very well equipped both inside and out, exactly as specified. Finally, the hosts were very helpful and promptly responded to any requests. Highly recommended.

Our second visit, and the barn and surroundings were beautiful in spring! Particularly enjoyed watching the sunset over the meadow at the back with a drink. Thanks Hannah for a great stay

We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. Thank you Hannah for having us. You have a beautiful Airbnb!!

Wonderful spacious, well-appointed property, in quiet location ideally suited to visiting the beach or Broads. Plenty of room for the six of us, plus dogs both inside and outside and the enclosed garden was perfect and safe for the grandchildren and dogs. Excellent comfortable flat to stay in Norwich with parking. Great to do your own cooking in the full kitchen and use of washing machine. Definitely everything you need is provided, even breakfast provisions & laundry detergent. I found it easier to use the back entrance as just 1 door to get in but be aware that you have to go up a flight of stairs either way. Responsive hosts and I can't think of anything to improve the place. Easy to walk to local restaurants and into Norwich town centre. The bedroom is quiet as it's not facing the main road. I stayed 4 nights and was very happy with my stay.

Absolutely fantastic weekend away , The apartment was as described and contained everything we needed plus more. Great location conveniently 5 minutes walk from the Beach and 10 minutes into town - along a beautiful Seaview promenade. I would certainly recommend the putting green cafe for breakfast , its the closest and the full English was on point. Great location for this flat, easy access. The owner gave us clear instructions of the place and everything that was needed, responded/communicated quickly when we texted. The flat has everything in it, from kitchen utensils to towels and very clean bedding. We loved our stay and we had a wonderful time in Southwold.

Review of Our Stay at Oaklands No1, Reepham We recently enjoyed a delightful 3-night stay at Oaklands No1 in Reepham, and it truly was a memorable experience. We had a fantastic stay for our anniversary, check-in was excellent as Matt had messaged us the day before to say we could check-in early the day of our arrival, which was excellent. Parking was easy (neighbourly agreed bay). The apartment was wonderful and very comfortable and quiet at night. We loved the small balcony over looking the sea and it was an excellent place to just chillout after a busy day exploring the area. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped for those wanting to prepare meals. The ship Inn pub is just a 30 second walk away for excellent food and a outside terrace overlooking the sea. Mundesley has a great butcher, bakers, fruit & veg shop, Coffee house, Café and small arcade & crazy golf. A small Tesco extra is about a 20-minute walk away for all your other essentials. The location of the apartment to the beach was brilliant and we spent a few nice days enjoying the coastal walk and front. Felbrigg Hall & Cromer are only a short drive away.

Ivor & Karen were great hosts, easy to communicate with before and after our stay. The apartment is as described and the photos are up to date. There is plenty of space for 2 people, the bed and sofa/chair were comfortable, shower was good and it was very clean and well-stocked throughout, including some thoughtful provisions for breakfast. The location was surprisingly private as it is situated so close to Asda, Wetherspoons, Subway,MacDonalds and a main road with good transport links. It is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful corner with the added benefit of a beautiful garden. There was parking on the driveway for one car but plenty of amenities within walking distance too. We would definitely like to stay here again.

A super apartment within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants and all of the attraction Norwich has to offer. The apartment is really cosy with a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Access is really secure and easy. Although I had no need for a parking space, this is a great service that the apartment offers. Highly recommended!

First time using Airbnb and we hit the jackpot with Sarah. Visiting our Son at University, the Flat was a great base. Very reasonably priced, quiet location, free parking. The flat was clean and comfortable. Sarah was very informative and quick to respond to any messages.

Great flat, location and host

Excellent annex, perfect for a weekend getaway, lovely welcome pack, Sarah even left a welcome pack for our doggy, Will definitely book again, if we go to the east coast again. Very easy to find and gain access, No problems with anything.

This was my first time using Airbnb. Marisol's place is like a home away from home. It's spacious, spotlessly clean, cosy, and modern. Highlights: - Well equipped kitchen - Comfy bed - Great shower with monsoon head - Fast BT Wi-Fi - Relaxing garden - Easy check-in - Helpful Tesco Express 3 minutes walk away. Negatives: - None!
