Absolutely great location. Property to the rear of North Parade under the lighthouse. Literally a stones through from Adnams Brewery and 1 minute walk from the beach and promenade. Jane Elizabeth is a wonderful host. Thank you

We’ve visited Southwold many times normally in our motorhome. On this occasion we were with friends so decided to use an air B&B. We definitely made the right choice selecting “Port Side”.. with it having 2 double bedrooms both with en-suites. The accomodation was just as described….. spacious,comfortable and tasteful decor within a period property and with the added benefit of free parking. Would definitely use again…

Great location, right in the centre of the most interesting part of Norwich….. if you like people watching then you will love this apartment. Great places to eat and drink all within stumbling distance of this very trendy and cool apartment!

This was our second stay at The Garret and we loved it just as much as the first. It’s such a special place, peaceful, full of charm, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The studio is spotlessly clean, really well-equipped, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Alison and Alan are fantastic hosts, so warm and welcoming and the homemade cream tea and ginger biscuits on arrival were absolutely delicious. A perfect base for exploring Framlingham, the coast, and beyond. Can’t wait to come back again next year.

A brilliant location, near the perfect sandy beach and all local amenities in this wonderful "old world" resort. Restaurants and pubs (and a brewery) only a few minutes walk away. The access might be difficult for anyone with mobility problems - it's up two flights of steep steps, the first of which is like a fire escape. We had a brilliant time and hope to return sometime! Hi paul. Apologies for such a late review. Unfortunately i had to cut my stay short due to work commitments , but felt very relaxed and comfortable while i was their.. Thank you for the wine it was very much appreciated with my tea but sorry i didnt eat the brownies im not a sweet eating person but the thought was grateful so thank you!!!! I would definitely stay again!! So quite at night which is great.. Thank you Kindest regards Kris

we had the most fantastic stay and will definitely be back. we've been to lowestoft before but the location here made it even better. sea views from the apartment. the place is immaculate. I was worried about noise from neighbours as we usually stay in houses, but it's over 2 floors with the bedrooms being on the top floor - perfect. the kitchen is brand new as are the bathrooms, no expense has been spared. the beds are very comfy and the linen was amazing. even a bottle of bubbly waiting for us - thank you! our only very minor quibble was the blinds in the bedrooms don't fully cover the windows, we wore eye Masks which was no drama but our 6 year old was up very early every morning. next time we will pack a travel black out blind. that's our only very minor issue in a perfect and stunning apartment. thank you 😊

Had a relaxing stay in this nicely furnished, compact and clean apartment situated close to local amenities and rail services. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Sandra’s place is highly recommended for Norwich stays.

Lovely place, we enjoyed a perfect family weekend here. Added bonus of being able to watch the kids play in the little playground from the veranda. Very homely and had everything we needed. Super close to Nicholas Everitt Park which had enough to keep the kids entertained (and us) for hours.

We stayed 2 nights . Very convenient for sight seeing in Norwich. We were able to park and leave the car at the property, as everything was at walking distance. It was clean, beds were comfy and kitchen well equipped. Would recommend.

Zero complaints - everything as described. Very flexible to our requests to extend the stay. 🙏🏻

This property was very clean throughout. Overall a very well thought out home with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for those weekend cooking great food with family and friends. With both a comfortable snug around the log burner downstairs and a lovely airy sitting room upstairs with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, there’s plenty of space to enjoy your time here. A notable mention to how comfortable the beds were at Pelican Lodge. It has gated, off road parking for 2 cars, while the rear garden is secure so you can let the dog roam worry free. The wood fired hot tub and kamado bbq completed what we thought was a brilliant home for the weekend. Would 100% recommend.
