Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lorain

The home was nicely remodeled, very clean and close to relatives we were visiting. The hot tub was a nice amenity. We would happily book it again when we return to the area.

We stayed at Lorrie's house for the weekend of our child's graduation from Oberlin College. Lorrie was so responsive and flexible when I asked for an earlier check-in and whether we could host a small gathering of our college student's friends one evening. The house was perfect for the 7 adults we had in our party and could have easily accommodated more! There are many indoor spaces for mingling and relaxing, the kitchen is very well appointed and the bedrooms are so comfortable. Our weather was divine, so we were really able to utilize and enjoy the amazing backyard with it's wonderful seating areas and awesome Lake Erie vista. We had a meal outside and enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit. There were many extra chairs and tables conveniently located in the garage for our outdoor fun. We made many trips to and from Oberlin, but the house set up made us feel like we were really on vacation. Thank you for your hospitality Lorrie and we would highly recommend a stay in your lovely home!

This is a really wonderful home that is clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the game room was great for my teenager. The gas grill and fire pit made the evenings very special. The location was excellent and the hosts were exceptionally kind, welcoming and accommodating. I could not recommend this home my highly!

Excellent house and amazing hosts! For my family it is very special: it was the first place we stayed in Ohio when we brought our daughter to college. The wonderful, very friendly owner of the house, Rob allowed us to bring our cat with us and we had a perfect restful time by the lake, watching amazing sunsets and meeting bright sunrises.Four years later, our daughter graduated from college, and we, of course, again chose Rob's house to stay and celebrate in. The house has a delightful atmosphere. I love the little dinette right next to the kitchen — it is so cozy to have breakfast there. Dinners in the living room, by the huge windows looking out onto the lake, were an absolute feast for the soul. Everything is very well thought out in the house, the needs of guests are anticipated by the large amounts of extra bedding and towels.The beds are comfortable. Thank you so much, Rob, for your hospitality,diligence and willingness in making sure that guest’s visits are always enjoyable

Rick’s home was perfect for my nephews and me. We flew in to celebrate my son’s birthday at Cedar Point, and this place was exactly what we needed. Everyone had their own little space, which was great. After being outside all day, it was nice to return to a semi-off-the-grid and quiet environment. The location was convenient for everything else we needed to access. Thank you, Rick!

If I could rate the hosts and property more than 5 stars I would. The home was perfect especially for those who may need a one floor plan like us. It is cozy, welcoming and comfortable. We had a great time and made the perfect place to come “home” . Thank you Aaron and Rebecca for everything that you do and did to make our stay fabulous!!! We will be back!!

We enjoyed our time at Joseph's and were especially thankful for the large amount of living space both indoor and outdoor. The home was just as described in the listing. We regularly travel to the area and will gladly stay there again in the future.

Alaina was an amazing communicator, reached out before and after check in to make sure that everything was set and that we were able to get in the house ok. House was extremely clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. Alaina is a wonderful host and you cannot go wrong with staying here. We would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

This Airbnb was a great place for a quick weekend getaway! The area was quiet, and close to different activities around. Public parking right by the building was definitely a bonus!

My son and I stayed there for a little family reunion get together. We were 10 minutes from my family. Apartment the apartment was so cute. The area was really nice and quaint. The best part was coming back home and sitting on the balcony. And just enjoying the neighborhood.. it was really hard to leave. There are a lot of stores and places to eat and walking distance. A melting pot of history in that area. Even if you wanna go downtown, you could take the train. The station is maybe five minutes away. This was our second time staying at Jill’s place and we loved it just as much as the first time! Super convenient location, lots of parking, walkable to tons of great restaurants, coffee places, & shops!

We had a great one-night stay at Lee’s place! It was perfect for a quick stopover in Cleveland - easy to access, safe, and in a super neighborhood-y area that felt really welcoming. Lee was responsive and made check-in a breeze. We were able to park right on the street with no issues, and everything felt very safe. The location was great for getting out and exploring - we even went for a morning run in Edgewater Park, which was absolutely beautiful. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Brian is a stellar host—prompt, responsive, and able to accommodate our last-minute booking with ease. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. It felt like a total steal for the area as its m central and close to everything you’d want to eat and/or explore in Lakewood. Highly recommend!

All great things, all great things! This was one of our favorites that we stayed so far and we've been in several at this location! Also, this was the first time we fished right there on the water, and it was great fun! Ross was very responsive on a couple quirky questions, nothing impactful, all great! Would stay, again.

Amazing little place to stay, perfect for our mini vacation. The area was super walkable and parking was easy to find. The condo had all the amenities you could need and as a bonus the water pressure was great. I would definitely book again.

This was a good place to stay. The apartment is well equipped and the living area is pretty comfortable. Could use a better coffee table. The provided food stuffs are a really nice touch. The beds are small for 2 people, but comfortable. The bedroom windows definitely need black out curtains since there is a bright light outside. Bring your eyemask! Laundry is great to have. Shower is nice, and plenty of towels. Parking is convenient. Tanesha is responsive and friendly in her communication.

I don’t even know where to begin!! I’d rate Chris and Jamie as a 10+ star as hosts and for their property!! Everything was absolutely amazing and Chris & Jamie went over and beyond what was expected! From offering flexibility with a late check to accommodate our needs, detailed check in and out instructions (videos were very helpful and funny too!), coffee/creamers provided and to top it off we were greeted with a personalized message with snacks (the kids loved this 🤪) wishing my daughter and her team good luck at their tournament!! Chris and Jamie were very quick to respond to any questions and provided excellent restaurant recommendations!! The Mario Place was absolutely beautiful inside and has an amazing view of Lake Erie and Cedar Point! Also, the property is within walking distance to several restaurants and entertainment!! Highly recommend renting this and/or any other properties from Chris and Jamie!!! We definitely will be back!!!

Went to Cedar Point, walked to get sushi, soaked in the hot tub. Had a great time. We would stay here again.

Spent a month in this very comfortable condo! Great location to walk and get around Ohio City and surrounding neighborhoods (Hingetown, Duck Island, Tremont). :its of restaurants within walking distance along with easy access to the West Side Market. Quiet, friendly and safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again...highly recommend!
