House holiday rentals in Long Island

We had a wonderful mother-daughters’ weekend at Liz’s home. The house is nicely renovated and has everything you need for a wonderful family getaway. The house is all on one floor and is perfect for those with mobility issues, which was ideal for celebrating my mom’s 80+ birthday. We loved the location, being close to lots of Hamptons’ cities but super quiet, serene, and private. Super comfy beds and linens, great bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen that was excellent for breakfasts in the morning. The backyard is beautiful and looks even better than the pictures. Plus Liz is an incredibly gracious host! She allowed for us to have flexible check-in and check-out times, and even provided excellent local recommendations for ADA compliant restaurants and activities—all of which were very helpful and made our trip and stay enjoyable and comfortable. She even had a step stool delivered for us to use. She went above and beyond to make our experience excellent. Our thanks again, Liz!

Beautiful home, very clean, spacious and comfortable to stay with the family. We used the grill on multiple occasions and it was easy to use. The fire pitt was also enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked, would bring own source of caffeine if you’re picky with your coffee though. Stephen, the host was very responsive and easy to reach when asked questions. The one thing I would recommend is to check in with the host if the pool is available to use prior to booking. Overall a great experience, would stay with them again.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay at the Zenhouse for me, my husband and 3 month old boy. The guest house was relatively spacious and had all the amenities needed to relax with tea/coffee and grill food. Some of the fixtures in the guest house are a bit dated (e.g. bathroom, heater, etc.) but are all perfectly functional. The property is expansive with beautiful trees, streams and walkways throughout. Olga greeted us with a wonderful welcome including of the history of the property. We also enjoyed spotting the geese, chipmunks and other animals that roam around the grounds. We would come again when during warmer weather to enjoy the pool next time.

My husband, our dogs, and I just returned home after spending a month at Sarah's house on Long Island. we truly didn't want to leave, it was so relaxing! The lousy May weather notwithstanding, the property was absolutely perfect for us. Everything was as described and we felt right at home. Sarah was super proactive/responsive. While we were only able to use the pool a couple of times (weather), it was great and the spa was awesome, especially in the evening under the pretty lights in the backyard! There were great spaces to work (hubby didn't have the full month off like I did) and to just chill. The house is located near many conveniences (I'm looking at you, Walmart) to pick up necessities and while we didn't cook for ourselves quite a bit, we were thrilled that unlike at home, the food delivery services were fast, reliable, and everything arrived at the perfect temperature! we can't say enough good things about our stay and will definitely be returning!

This was our 3rd stay at Johnna's listing. We are already reserved for our 4th stay in 2 months. My Husband and I are every comfortable and extremely pleased with the accomodations.

Esther is hands down one of the finest hosts we have had, and her house is beautiful and was spotless upon arrival and everything worked from pool to hot tub to grill etc... Area is very quiet. great place to relax with a mature group of friends or with your family. Esther was always responsive. Me and my crew have been renting houses for over three decades (Way before AirBnB). Esther is at the top of the list hands down. Thank you for everything. Will 1000% be back. ANd you shuld rent there too. You will not be disappointed.

My family and I had the most amazing time celebrating two birthdays as well as New Year’s. The pictures do not do this house justice. This house was so amazing for our family of nine. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms were very spacious, the two sunroom rooms were perfect (my family would hang out in the tiny sunroom with the bar in it every single morning. It was everyone’s favorite room.). One thing that was the best bonus was the built-in speaker system throughout the house on the main level. My brother-in-law is a DJ and knew how to use the system, which was amazing because we would have dance parties. The only thing I would ask Constantine to do is to possibly give instructions on how to use it because it is a definite bonus. We even had a bonfire one night as well as a BBQ. Even though we came during winter this place was perfect.

Our stay was very pleasant. Francesca communicated well and make things easy for us. The pool house seems new, and is nice for an extra bedroom if needed. The house was clean, sheets and bedding were also clean. Would recommend staying here!

Had an excellent stay at Eileen’s place. The house was extremely clean and perfect size for a couple. Beautiful view and surroundings. Only wish I had more time to explore the area. Would definitely stay here again if I return.

It as a lovely small area close to Hofstra which what we wanted. Our host gave great instructions for easy check in. Overall I’d recommend and stay there again. Great experience.

My family of 4 (including a 2 and 6 year old) stayed at Chris’ place for two nights for a quick getaway for spring break. Chris was incredibly helpful, by providing suggestions for us/the kids on local attractions, and was quick to help us problem solve when we couldn’t find a blender attachment for our morning smoothies. The house is beautiful, well equipped (especially with kid-specific items (high chair, stroller, books), and he also provided some provisions for our stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb if you’re looking to stay in this area!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Eileen's beautiful waterfront home. The view from the living room and primary bedroom of the water was so peaceful. The kitchen was well appointed and the cozy living room made for a wonderful family gathering spot when we weren't dining out at the fabulous nearby restaurants, visiting wineries, or viewing local scenery. Eileen was incredibly responsive to small questions we had. We would definitely book again!!

Althea was a very gracious host. It was spotless and everything was explained to us. The neighborhood was beautiful and felt safe. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. It would be nice if they were all like this.

John’s place is absolutely stunning! The deck and the dock made for beautiful mornings with coffee and evenings with wine. It’s a short drive from a few beaches or to the ferry to fire island. Overall would definitely stay again!

A very nice and spacious house, quietly located in the countryside. In 5 minutes by foot you are on the water. The neighborhood is very quiet and in the morning you can hear a lot of birds. Communication in advance was great. It was even responded to the wish of a toaster. The rooms are nice and the beds very cozy. There were three of us and we had good space. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. There was even water ready upon arrival. In the living room there is a large TV with Netflix.

We loved staying here! It was so nice to go to the private beach. It was in a great location and neighborhood was quiet. He was very responsive and helpful when me or someone from my group asked a question. The house was very clean and we loved the nespresso! It makes me want to buy one for my house lol

Carmen’s place was great, very spacious, neat & clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were also all done up real nice. It was perfect for 4 families and the basement was perfect for the kids. The house was pretty close to everything and the street we were on was very quiet. Carmen and Louis were both very responsive to our needs and easy to work with. I would definitely stay there again. We had the best time at the beach house! We have two toddlers and the location of the house was perfect! Easy walk to the beach. They played in low, medium and high tide and loved them all equally. Sunsets from the deck are breathtaking. Morning walks on the quiet block and along the beach were so peaceful. The surrounding town is adorable with some great restaurants. Kids had a blast at dockside brewery. House was super clean, host always responsive and neighbors were kind. We can’t wait to come back!

I said this all in my previous review, but I extended my stay with Bill and my review remains consistent 😌 Bill’s place was gorgeous! It was a clean, private place, walking distance of stores in the area, and he checked in to make sure I had any amenities I needed throughout my stay. All in all, I would def stay again!
