wow.. what a Gem/jewel of a cottage. we where already staying in Anglesey for the past two weeks and decided extend our stay for the may bank holiday. we came across Fiona's cottage. booked it and immediately she responded with instructions and great communication. located easy. few reviews mentioned long bumpy drive or track to it. nope, it's a unadopted road maintained by Carl Fionas husband and probably other owners. it's a great little track giving fabulous views of rhosneigr, the golf course and valley. sheep grazing along road. stunning. At the front door with private parking right at the accommodation we were met by Carl. great information and showed us around and Fiona came by later. The owners live next door. friendly and helpful but not intrusive at all. inside the cottage there is very comfy furniture and very homely. spotlessly clean. great kitchen with everything one needs. if its not in kitchen you honestly don't need it. lovely bath/shower. . comfy spacious bedroom.

We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay at Jill’s place and we have loved every minute. A beautiful yurt in peaceful surroundings and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Jill has put so much thought into everything and is a fantastic host. We would love to return! Our first time in Anglesey and defo not our last. Thank you for everything. An extremely memorable trip. Having always stayed in Rhosneigr it was a delight to be at the other end of the runway/beach. Apart from the planes (usually 8-5 Mon-Fri & not continuous) Llanfairyneubwll is peaceful, the beach practically empty (no facilities), and the Cymyran straights provide a rich variety of walking options in a fascinating landscape. Valley has 2 mini-supermarkets, 2 chip-shops and top restaurant (Catch22) , and there are full-sized supermarkets etc at the Holyhead retail park - all within 10 minutes drive. The cottage has everything you need, including comfy deckchairs for sitting in the afternoon sun in the garden.
