Holiday rentals with beach access in Litchfield County

The place was immaculate and Shawn is an amazing host. He responds quickly and ensures his guests are consistently good to go. Nice location, convenient to lots of things in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend!

Cozy and unassuming, Gina makes you feel at home. Fresh, homemade continental breakfasts were great! It is pet friendly, but ours stayed home. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring them next time. Nice fenced yard. We were in town for a graduation at Q Law. The unit is just a few minutes drive to downtown Wallingford and the Q campuses.

Great little spot. This rental has everything you need. Forget something-they got it. Very clean and modern with thoughtful touches. Had an extended stay here and extended for longer. 1 bedroom with loft that owner made into another bedroom for me. Loved it. Great deck, stunning lake view from all the windows. Owner very responsive to any needs. 100 percent recommend. Neighborhood lovely and quiet. Amazing respite.

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

Wonderful location , across the street with a unobstructed view of Highland lake . The interior is sun lit from two picture windows facing south , spacious rooms including the kitchen and bath. Comfortable bed and furniture and off street parking , complete a very accommodating setting ! Two minutes off the main street in Winsted. Highly recommended with thanks to Jeanne and her husband for being so helpful and responsive .

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

We loved staying at this studio apartment. It was a great location, close to Hyde park and rhinebeck. Great restaurants and towns for shopping. The host was responsive, helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and had all the extras you may need.

Great stay, convenient location. Lots of food options in surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

If you want to escape into a fairytale this is the place for you! This is the cutest most eclectic Airbnb you can experience, up in the trees with a beautiful lake to kayak and swim in! We took a day just to play games and eat and take in the vibes of the home. Everything from the outdoor shower in the trees to the path to the lake feels magical. Ronni & Jan were great hosts; they were super responsive and friendly especially if we had any inquiries. My friends and I had a great time getting away from the city to spend the weekend in a quiet area, and we couldn’t think of a better place than this massive property. Amenities were great, ranging from a gaming lounge with a foosball & mini-ping pong table, an outdoor fire pit/grilling area, to a massive family room enough to sit at least 8 comfortably. It is also kid-friendly as there is also a playscape outside. Overall a great stay, I highly recommend!

Our stay at Julia's home was perfect! We all felt right at home, our grand daughter had lots of books, which she loves and other kids toys. The log cabin was more beautiful than pictured and the claw foot tub in the upstairs suite was the icing on the cake.

Harry & Alicia’s spot is a gem in the heart of Litchfield County. A beautiful home, oozing with personality. Would definitely recommend for large groups as a very dynamic space with lots of privacy. Communication was top notch and the house was spotless and exactly as described/depicted. Thank you for being first class hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at this location during my daughter’s graduation from Bard College. The location has beautiful views of the lake and the layout of the property was perfect for the family to gather and celebrate, while also giving everyone the space for their own quiet time or rest. I would definitely recommend this location and hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

This was the perfect place to relax after visiting family all day. Hector's place was clean, private, and peaceful. the drive way is a little hard to find but GPS will get you there fine. The airbnb had everything we needed and loved the back deck for grilling. highly recommend.
