Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Limón Province

This is a stunning place and a must stay if you visit Puerto Viejo and you’re looking for a peaceful accommodation. It’s in the middle of the jungle but not far from the town. Irene gave me a bike, that I could explore everything by myself. It’s incredible to sit in the hammock and listen to the sound of jungle. Especially in the night ! One day a sloth was next to the terrace. I’ve seen also other animals at this place. Irene and her husband were very nice and helpful. I can recommend this place 200%. It’s definitely a 10/10!

I was looking for an escape into the mountains and didn't have a lot of time (or preparation) for major hiking. Mirador Valle del General offered nature trails and that beautiful view of the valley which was just what I needed for peaceful contemplation - not to mention the restaurant offers a lovely menu and lots of hummingbirds come visit while you're sitting enjoying the view. This was just what I needed for a night away from the coast.

This place is a gem! The owner(s) clearly put a lot of love into the place and the landscaping. I absolutely loved the river access and enjoyed it every day - so many fun places to explore right from the Airbnb! I could easily spend an entire month here. I hope that I am able to stay again someday.

Stayed at Colette's place for 2 days. Unit is on the edge of the jungle so definitely expect a few insects to be found inside your unit. Private pool was amazing, The view of the beach is perfect! Worth mentioning that before booking the unit is in dominical... it is NOT. it is about a 15 min drive north of the town. Therefore, I would not recommend this unit unless you have a car.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and good recommendations from the host (visit la Cusinga for a drink or food and enjoy the beautiful view and the walking trails around the property!). If you have a 4x4 and want a more quiet stay, I’d recommend this place!

I don't know if it's the location, the house, or Rick himself that amazed us the most during our stay. The house is absolutely stunning. The house was so beautiful that we canceled activities to have more time to relax in the house. Rick is one of a kind! He is very knowledgeable about many things, but most of all his humble and easygoing nature is a true example of the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed the heated pool at night as we gazed at the stars. Walking through the garden and picking ripe fruits was one of my favorite activities. Taking a bath during sunset while overseeing the ocean and forest will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. We saw plenty of birds and even a monkey. We didn't have time for it, but there is also a beautiful river tucked in a few minutes from the property. Waking up to fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast made our last days in Costa Rica just perfect. I can't say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and book now. You'll thank me later

Awesome place, stunning views with excellent service. Quick drive down the hill to the best beach. Road is steep but not entirely impossible with 2WD; excellent internet. Nice airy cabins with no need for AC. Will definitely return, thank you!!!

J’ai adoré mon séjour chez Emilia. La chambre est très bien agencé et calme. Grâce à leur offre rafting, j’ai pu descendre le Rio Pacuare avec une équipe très sympathique et professionnel. Je reviendrai.

El alojamiento de Daryl esta hermoso, tiene excelente vista, la atención y desayuno es 10 de 10, super recomendado!

Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen und waren in der Monkey Ranch Lux Lodge untergebracht. Die ganze Anlage, die Zimmer, der Pool und die Aussicht auf das Meer waren traumhaft schön. Die Kommunikation mit Leida hat super funktioniert. Wir hatten leider nur für eine Nacht gebucht und würden das nächste Mal auf jeden Fall länger bleiben.

A lovely place to stay! This property has a gorgeous view and your hosts, Larry and Alicia are very welcoming. The room is comfortable, there is hot water, good WiFi and a delicious breakfast is served in the morning. I highly recommend this location.

The host was very helpful and let me check in early. She spoke english well enough that communication was easy and she was very responsive to questions that I had. If you are going to the Basilica which is the main attraction in town the location could not be better. The Basilica is directly across the street and the breakfast area has a good view of it. I could not believe that they served breakfast as a part of this very low priced, very clean and comfortable room. I will book it when I come back! It is also only about a $60 dollar taxi ride to the airport on an uber so its ideal place to spend both the first night or two in country and when exiting.

Recomiendo este lugar es exactamente igual que en las fotos, es bastante cerca de todo lo necesario, al frente está la playa, el desayuno es bastante bueno, los trabajadores son muy atentos, pasamos un buen rato y vamos a volver !!

Martin, Celina and their family were great hosts, very attentive to our needs prior to and during our visit. The room and the place itself was amazing, very clean and close to the beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast was delicious too. I’d give this place 20/10. Hope we come back soon.

Staying at Lipstick Palms was truly one of the most special and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. The home & amenities are unreal! A stunning retreat with sweeping views of the Pacific, a great breeze and every detail is high-end and thoughtful. Annie and Patrick are the kindest, most gracious hosts—you instantly feel like you’re visiting dear friends or family you adore. Upon request, they prepared a beautiful, elevated meal our first night (that peach cream cake was unreal!) and again on our last night. One evening, we went into town together, played pool at a fun dive bar, had chili guaro shots.m- so fun! They also took us to a wine bar on the ocean where we fed bananas to monkeys at sunset—it was pure magic. The location is perfect, the pool is gorgeous, and we felt so at home the entire time. Annie and Patrick were present but never intrusive—it was the perfect balance. Their care, warmth, and hospitality made this stay something we’ll never forget. Dreaming of coming back!

This is a beautiful property that is clearly well cared for. Wade and Laurie are gracious hosts, they have lots of information for visiting the area & they make a delicious breakfast every morning that is creative and healthy. This is one of the better places to stay in the area if you are looking for an Airbnb. It is not in the middle of too much tourism. But it is located near many delicious restaurants, very near to the beach and other activities. We loved our stay here.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons chez Wade et Laurie et c'est toujours un immense plaisir pour nous de se retrouver dans un logement comme cela. Tout était parfait, le confort de la chambre, la propreté, l'emplacement magnifique, les bons petit-déjeuners et la gentillesse des hôtes. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter. La présence des agoutis fait toujours plaisir :) !

Una casa limpia y cómoda, me recibió doña Isabel que me ayudó en todo lo que necesité y me hizo sentir como en casa. Súper recomendado.

Muy buena onda, riquísima la comida y muy buena ubicación (cerca de la playa). Ha sido una linda experiencia dormir en los árboles y escuchar los sonidos de la naturaleza 😊💚

Laurie y su familia son super amables y muy hospitalarios. La atención fue excelente, ella y su esposo Sebastian siempre atentos para ver si uno necesita alguna informacion de los lugares cerca para visitar, playa, montaña, caminatas, etc. El desayuno típico francés incluido en la tarifa fue muy satisfactorio. El croissant,el baguette elaborados por ellos mismos sin duda uno de los mejores que haya probado en mi vida! Recomiendo 100% este espacio para aquellas personas que le encante salir de la ciudad, relajarse plenamente, dormir bajo el sonido de la lluvia y despertar con con una sonrisa sabiendo que te espera ese delicioso desayuno francés inolvidable!

Un véritable havre de paix, à deux pas de la mer ! William a été très réactif et a fait tout son possible pour m’aider à arriver à temps, malgré le risque de manquer le dernier bateau pour rejoindre le village. L’accueil était chaleureux, notamment grâce à la femme qui travaille sur place, et le petit-déjeuner était excellent. Sur place, un guide vous attendra avec le sourire pour vous proposer différentes activités à découvrir. Petit bémol : le service de lessive à 8 USD, mes vêtements n’étaient malheureusement pas secs le lendemain, donc il faut prévoir plus de temps ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour un séjour paisible à Tortuguero.

The villa is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The view is amazing! Patrick & Annie are very nice hosts and very accommodating. We felt at home from the start. Our children loved the dogs Rex & Zorro, they are very well behaved. We hoghly recommend this accommodation and would come back immediately.
