not what id expect for the price i paid. in fact ive stayed in far worse for far more, was a nice little retreat and a view to die for in the morning

The Poet's Ode was a wonderful place for us to rest and relax in. It is set within beautiful bushland and the home is full of character, very comfortable and attention given to environmentally sensitive practices.

We loved our stay. The Hive far exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were great communicators and very helpful and kind. The place was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, generously provisioned and the beds and seating were comfortable. It was a delight to sit up in bed in the morning, or in the lounge room looking out over the bush. The location is great, close to Hobart, Kingston and the Huon A car is essential for exploring. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

Nice getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is cosy and maintains its traditional elements whilst still being a practical place to use. Beautiful and creative garden. Jo was very responsive if we had any issues.
