"TOP DRAWER" Much like the hidden cutlery drawer within the top drawer next to the oven, this property is truly a hidden gem. Situated so close to the stunning Clifton Observatory where we attended a family wedding, yet cocooned by nature and the delight of birdsong. The focus of our stay was the wedding, so to be able to find and settle into our home from home with such ease was greatly appreciated. We are extremely grateful to our host for going above and beyond in allowing us to gift a one night stay to the bride and groom who were extremely grateful for the opportunity to peacefully rest and restore after their big day. Amanda’s lodge is a very great place for any occasion whether it’s for an overnight trip or a weekly stay! Easy to find with so many things to do within a hour radius, so if exploring the area is something you’d like to do then I’d recommend 2 nights minimum as even driving to Cardiff takes under a hour so it’s a great place to use as a base! The lodge is clean, tidy, peaceful and with the field as your view, you can normally see the occasional hot air balloon and plenty of deer! Relaxing in the hot tub is the cherry on top after a day of exploring You are also left well alone and can come and go as you please Amanda herself is the perfect host… friendly, great knowledge of the area and down to earth! We even had the pleasure of meeting her new puppy (although this is something that will probably never happen for you haha) Amanda thank you once again and thank you for sharing your place for everyone to use, I would 100% stay again with no hesitation

Such a lovely, peaceful haven while I was on a course for a few days. Maggie sent such welcoming and helpful information and I was comfortable throughout my stay. Everything was easy the location was perfect for Clifton. Would definitely stay again
